Huge thank to Aimee in the Plymouth store. I stupidly made an online order and realised I sent it to my old home address after I ordered it. I called the store and Aimee sorted it for me within minutes. Great customer service :-)

Great store with many great bargains to be had at all times...seems to have many different items on sale every week so if you want to save a few pennies for top quality sports and casual gear it's the place to go

Amazing service received today from Ian in the running shoes section of sports direct Plymouth. Ian is not only knowledgable, he was very patient, could not have been more helpful and dedicated to make sure I got the right pair and guide me through the array of shoes available. Thank you!

Didnt realise Game had moved here until recently, picked up some shoes and other stuff as well and the staff were quick to get different sizes and didn't cause a fuss or try to interfere while I was trying things myself, tho they didn't trust me to have the box nearby or both shoes at once, as if I'd run off with em or something, pretty funny but good experience regardless

Got myself some sweet kicks, needed fresh trainers after my old reliables had started hurting my knees on longer runs. Bagged myself a pair of ultraboosts from Adidas for a good price, plus blue light discount! Took them for a test drive today and found them to be very comfortable.

Needed to buy a pair of trainers that would help my plantar fasciitis and was served by Iain Sawczyszak. His knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the lower body, and PF itself was fantastic and he advised me expertly. As a result, I’ve come away with a great pair of shoes. Service was slow getting other trainer to put on we had asked to see. Then asked for another 2 different with 2 sizes. It was worth it as we bought a pair (my Xmas present) Not my usual place to buy but I wanted waterproof ones.

I must say the standard of customer care and helpfulness is one of the highest I have experienced in Plymouth.As an elderly couple not sure of want we required everyone went way beyond to help us.Each time we have been back it's the same so not a one off.As one who set high standards in my time in public life in Plymouth,it is a great credit to you for the training and a big addition to the City's retail experience.

Very hit and miss with staff attitude, at times can be very helpful and informative then other times feel like inconvenience for them. Signage is not easily noticeable and feels very cramped. Pricing is usually competitive.

Store is well stocked, however not every staff member is helpful. We were looking for an item, and since the shop is so big we asked a staff member for help, and showed her the photo from their website. Within a second she said "oh, we run out of the item" and walked away, only for us to find it after a while. Also,if you want to return something you will not receive money, but a voucher instead.

The staff are strictly adhering to covid rules. Good to see, even tho it was very busy. Expect to be asked to step back into a safe zone whilst, as in my case waiting for trainers to be brought out to try on. (My safety, and the staff). Hand gel is in plentiful supply upon entering. On road metered parking is available right outside, with easy access for wheelchair users. Several car parks are also close by if on road parking is full. Take care and stay safe.

Ian at the Plymouth branch served us today 15th May 21 whilst we were shopping for trainers on the first floor. He was a credit to your company and deserves some credit from his bosses. He was very polite, friendly and most of all knowledgeable about his stock and needless to say we purchased a pair of Asics running trainers.

So today on my way to work 🏢 I thought 🤔 a quick Detour to Sports Direct 🥎🏸⚽️ Plymouth ...If Your Not aware the Bargins across all Ranges ARE INSANE 🤩 getting there at 9.15 it was a Breeze, ALL SOCIAL DISTANCING VERY VISUAL.....Anyway I knew what I was looking for but I thought ask a member of staff to save time and Amazingly Helpful they were 10 out of 10, I only wish I had more time after spotting some other Inviting Items . Any way to Sum it up you need an Hour at Least to Browse and although your Purse or Wallet will feel Lighter it's well worth the Spend Sooooo GO SHOP....🤗 ITS CHRISTMAS 🎄❄☃️

It can be very hit and miss in the Plymouth store but went in Sunday for new trainers and actually found a knowledgeable and super helpful guy called Ian I believe. Very helpful and even gave me some advice on how to improve pace and put me onto a new running app to help. The trainers are great as well.

Staff where really helpful and made it so much easier for myself and my partner as he needed running shoes. The member off staff new what was best to fit his needs and the shoes are amazing according to my partner. So thank you

We would certainly buy more and bigger from Sports Direct but with their policy for only giving credit notes we'll be spending our money elsewhere, it's a shame as there's lots of choice. As things are so restrictive with Covid19 you can't try anything on and with no refund somewhere else will be getting our trade.

This place is a must if you are going shopping in Plymouth. The deals are the best with up to 70% off being common in the sales. Has everything from designer clothing to footballs. Although it doesn't look as visually appealing as Next in the main Drake's Circus ,for example, it still maintains an amazing, relaxed shopping experience.

As a keen sportsman myself I've used sports direct as my default store for getting the equipment and clothing I need. Whether it's rugby boots or tennis rackets I know this store will have it. The reason I'm dropping this store a star is because the range of rugby stuff is dramatically less compared to football stuff. This is a shame as rugby is still a huge sport in England so to see the amount of equipment they can provide drop is annoying for me and many others.
