Amazing, tucked away on an industrial estate, everything, and I mean everything the outdoors person would require. Huge inside, not as big as a go outdoors, yet strangely packs more choice inside. Brilliant prices and friendly service.

I love this shop! Great range of outdoors equipment and they have some amazing sales items too. Check out the backroom when you go - they have pre-loved equipment at knockdown prices, I always find something I didn't know i needed 🤣. At the moment you need to book an hours slot to browse the store, but they do a good online service too.

While I have never used the physical shop, I have shopped on line quite a bit with them. They keep you fully up to date throughout the whole purchase process, with updates on shipping and very accurate delivery information. They have a very good range of products which are priced very competitively and described properly so you know exactly what use they will be. I came across them by accident but would highly recommend them to anyone.

Anyone wanting quality kit should visit here. A small local firm that knows its Midge Sprays to its Mats. Tony guided me in the right direction for DofE kit and schools can make use of Forest School kit also. You won't be disappointed with the breadth of knowledge and experience they hold.

Today I spent the day on a free sharpening course at Tamarack Outdoors with Mike. The course it self was fantastic. Even though I went today as a complete novice I now feel very competent and willing to to tackle a massive variety of blades throughout the spectrum. Mike was amazing, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. As for the shop and products available...... Well all I'd say is make sure you have enough time to peruse the huge range of products on show. I arrived 30 minutes early and walked around, then again for 30 minutes at lunch, then again for 30 more minutes after the course and I was still noticing things i hadn't previously. It's awesome. Definitely check this store and it's courses out. Thanks Tamarack Outdoors, I'll be back. Joel

See Tentipi and Helsport hot tents in the flesh, along with the stoves and other accessories. Good range of bushcraft equipment, hand crafted knives and numerous axes for use in the field. Sleeping mats and bags, rucksacks, tarps and hammocks. If you want something specific ask, they may just be able to get it for you. Tamarack also do bushcraft courses and have a camp out where you can bring your unwanted camping equipment to sell on, (terms and conditions apply). Staff helpful and friendly.
