I had such a lovely experience today in the Southampton store in the running department, a very big thank you to the store manager Lee Matthews (what a lovely lady) as well as an extremely helpful young man Jamie Ciesler. Nothing was too much for either of them, your knowledge & help was most appreciated. Both an asset to Sports Direct!

Excellent customer service in this store. Walked in looking for a specific pair of trainers that I struggled to find, and a member of staff, Jamie, was able to promptly assist, and waited patiently when I requested 3 different sizes of the same trainers. Never have I seen such a patient staff member at a Sports Direct! Will be predominantly shopping here now thanks to the services provided.

Huge collection of sports items and casual wears. Just loved the shoe collection for kids and adults

Grabbed a bargain! Lots of offers on in there, clean, tidy staff are friendly and helpful!..obviously ask to try any of them on before handing them...go nab a deal!.. Disabled friendly, store is evenly spaced out! And parking available in the town! 5*

I'm not keen on the layout of this store. It's like one big maze trying to navigate around stands of clothing to get to the place you want. Very poorly layed out as it's a journey to the back of the store or upstairs to get to the tills. No signs to show where the tills are to pay. A wheelchair bound person would struggle to get through as the clothing stands are too close together.

There is this young lad called Jamie King who works on footwear. Quick and courteous, knew what he was doing unlike in the other Sports Directs I've been to. He's a role model to his colleagues. You have an asset.

Just have impression that need more staff to avoid angry customers. Great brand shop. Probably one minus - need invest more in to staff. Highly recommended to shop there.

It's a shop that caters for everyone. The store in Southampton has a USC in it so you can purchase higher end clothing and the Sports direct provides good quality for the lower end shopper. Plenty of space and very fast service.

I have been a repeat customer of this chain since the early 2000s and it never fails to disappoint! Brilliant placement of the Slazenger polo shirts and the big mugs are stacked to the ceiling. Always turn heads as I walk down the street in my box fresh Reebok Classics carrying my giant bag rammed full of the latest fashions. Almost 4 decades of trading and it's safe to say Mike Ashley certainly hasn't dropped the ball yet!

Amount of people controlled by the security outside, but it is a total chaos inside. Almost none of customers and none of the staff wearing face covering. Social distancing is only on the stickers on the floor. Staff though were very helpful, friendly and efficient.

Nice staff and alot of choices to choose from. They sell loads of brands from Nike to lionsdale. This is a great place to get your sports gear and shoes. They have a machine that finds the correct exact shoe size for your feet and it's just amazing.

Amazing customer service the lady serving me my shoes today was kind and polite I give her credit for all the customer she had to serve. It didn't take long for my shoes to come and from me paying for them and I was out of the store in less than 15 minutes would definitely come back!!

The variety of sport in most sports direct shops are mostly football, golf, rugby and a little of basketball, so when I go look for some shoes for basketball the selection isn't the best or even when choosing a football boot isn't the best because the sizes are limited so it's hard for people with big feet to buy some shoes for football and basketball
