My visit to The Lure Losge was great, wanted some items for presents but had no idea what to get for a keen fisherman. I was given plenty of ideas and shown all kinds of items that would suit. Fantastic array of stock, brilliant service and advice given. Gift vouchers also available so I bought some of those and a few items which were very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend to all fishermen and ladies as they have a continued availability of all stock at all times 😊🎣

Friendly, but a small shop with quite a few empty shelves where a bit more stock could be placed. Considering the name of the shop, there weren't that many lures and no drop shot weights or hooks. Other local tackle shops have more to offer.

best bait shop around, and you get plenty of it as weighed and not sold be the worm, so if the worms are a little on the small size (due to high tides) your not paying 20p each for a three inch worm, like other shops would charge you, also the staff are very helpful and friendly to people new to fishing, every time I go into this shop we swop insults in the most amusing way, "it's all in fun though", and I end up not wonting to leave, that is how friendly this shop is, I have often been offered a bargain, like a cheap fishing rod or a fishing reel, and I have never been look down on because I asked a daft question about fishing, all in all, I believe this shop is the best fishing shop in Woolston
