Great service from the Sup Company. My Starboard Downwind arrived really quickly and was well packaged. I've now taken it out a few times in different conditions: small surf, tidal river and calm river and the Starboard has been great in all. It's a lot narrower than my other isup (a Red Ride 10'6) so I was expecting it to be much harder to balance on, but it is surprisingly stable for a fast board. I'm looking forward to doing some distance tours and races in it.

Needed a new pump as have a lovely new SUP with a higher psi.and a dicky shoulder. I rang them and despite having building work done and the shop being closed they got me a pump delivered there the same day for a great price. Really friendly, helpful staff as always. Such a great place.l We bought kayaks for the family years ago, which have also been great. Now they have a coffee shop too!

Tony could not have been more helpful and understanding during the recent purchase of another two paddle boards for my wife and I. I can honestly say that Tom at the SUP Company has provided the best service I have ever experienced when buying online. I ordered two SUP boards and was was slightly faulty, when I spoke to Tom he arranged for collection and a new delivery that all took place the following day. When the new board arrived, the bag had a slight tear caused in the factory, again I contacted Tom and 12 hours later a new bag arrived. The products are fantastic, the service offered is superb, my advice is that if you want to buy a SUP, you will not get better customer service anywhere else. Great selection of products. Unfortunately once the items were paid for I discovered after sales service was non existent. Starboard composite SUP, which was supposed to be in stock a week after my order took weeks to be in stock with zero explanation from the company ( I had to chase myself to find out what was happening). Once dispatched there was a mixup with the warehouse that I had it delivered to. Needed confirmation of delivery details from TheSUPCo to chase delivery, and once again they offered very little assistance. Finally, I ordered rail tape and roof rack pads a couple of weeks later. Despite the pads being listed as 'in stock' when I placed the order, I receive an email 3 DAYS LATER to inform me that the pads were not in stock. I replied with an alternative choice and, surprise surprise, I had to chase them to get a reply. The moral of the story - If your transaction goes smoothly then it's 5 stars. The slightest issue, and you get zero assistance. I hope others got better service than I did.

Great Customer Service! I took a chance on ordering my SUP from The Sup Company after reading some positive reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. I ordered from them as they were still offering next day delivery and as I wanted the board pretty fast it was an easy choice. Ordering was really simple and went through without a hiccup. I did have a couple of issues with my order, the first being a delay in sending it out to me, which meant I didn’t actually get next day delivery but a quick email to Jessica had that sorted very quickly. The second is that I was sent the wrong board from the warehouse… but again, a quick email to Jessica and the new one was sent out the next day. Despite these issues I would highly recommend The Sup Company for their customer service alone! The sup came well packaged and was delivered quickly. I haven’t had a chance to get out on it yet, but I really can’t wait to get back on the water! Thank you Jessica!

I've bought a couple of things from The SUP Company, both in person and mail order. Great advice and great overall experience both times. Most recent purchase was a fanatic fly air pro for friends and family to play on for a very good price indeed. Budget price, but definitely not a budget board. This is my 3rd SUP and I don't think there's any discernible difference between this one and inflatables that retail for almost twice the price - the whole family is very happy with it.

Great purchase, we love our new SUP (fanatic air premium); it has really made our holiday and I can see i’ll be using it plenty once we are home. Feels like excellent quality piece of kit - very sturdy and rigid even with 3 kids scrambling on it, well made, easy to assemble (and get back in the bag). Great company to deal with, I have purchased 2 Red boards, 10.8 ride first, t I then ordered an 10.6 ride in purple for my partner, although when the purple one turned up, it was sent in blue, I spoke to a lady called Jess in Southampton who couldn’t have been more helpful, she sorted it the same day, sent a new board out and arranged the pick up, along with keeping me informed throughout the process. Every company has problems on the odd occasion, it’s how you deal with them that separates your company from the competition, in this instance Jess was on the ball, excellent customer service, this lady needs looking after she’s an asset to your company.

Bought a new board for my partner's birthday. Really great experience. Called to verify that free UK mainland delivery includes our address in the very north of Scotland. Very friendly and relaxed chat with a guy who turned out to be the owner, and yes, free delivery includes us. Great!! The board was dispatched quickly and delivered in just two days. We found that a small part was missing, not their fault, it was a new board in its original packaging. Another friendly chat, a different friendly guy, and the missing part was shipped the same day and has now arrived. If only all shopping experiences would be this easy and enjoyable!!!!!!!

I dont normally do reviews, however, I am really impressed with the service so far from The SUP Co. I placed an order for two Jobe Paddle boards on the Friday morning and they arrived by Saturday PM. The Jobe Boards are great anyway, but I feel that The SUP Co. did a great job in getting them out in quick time. I didn't request that they came quickly but happy they did. I haven't had to communicate with the customer services about anything. But hope that's as good as the delivery and dispatch service. Well done. Just AWESOME! The SUP company were really easy to deal with. The whole country seems to have sold out of SUPs at the moment so I put my details in for the ‘email me when back in stock’. They did warn me that they sell out quick so get in there quick. I did but I was buying using the interest free finance so it took a little longer but that was still super easy and didn’t take very long. Approved and my board arrived the next day!! I LOVE MY BOARD! It has everything you need. It’s amazingly good quality. Ray (I’ve called it) has his maiden voyage last week and it was so good. Packed up nicely as well. The order itself (iSUP with international delivery to EU) was fine, but the delivery routine itself was far from ideal. Despite the fact that the website boasts "next day dispatch", it took 3 weeks and 3 or 4 email requests and reminders with no meaningful answers to get the shipment handed to the delivery service. Not too great as a service.

Order placed on Thursday , dispatched on Friday for next working day but it arrived on Saturday due to DPD being ahead of schedule, only to find it was the wrong board. Same brand different model. I called Thesupco and the correct board was apparently dispatched the next working day, Monday. This wasn’t picked up by DPD but they did collect the incorrect one from me. I called AGAIN to chase up the missing board which did eventually arrive on Wednesday and I’m really pleased with it. I would have liked to have been contacted by thesupco instead of me having to chase this up, having been promised on three or four different occasions, a call back within 5/10 mins. Or if no call then they would email but nothing. I understand mistakes happen but keeping customers up to date should be second nature. The score would have been higher but you got points deduction for poor communication with your customer.

I ordered my board online but ran into problems so phoned the company and spoke to Matt who was really helpful. After a slight delay the order was placed. Bought my first board from “the supco” as new to the sport had no idea what to board to buy I phoned the supco who were fantastic and not pushy to buy the most expensive board but a board which suits me, they had an issue with suppliers they phoned me on the delivery date explained the problem they offered me the next model up with a 20% discount. I had a problem with the paddle not their fault I spoke to Tom who dispatched a new paddle for next day delivery stating to put the defective paddle in the old packaging and a courier would pick it up. Bought recently my first iSUP from this company. Good prices and many brand choices on offering. The order was sent quickly, although incomplete (without the included leash and some extra article) and without any kind of previous notice. I had to email the company to query about the missing articles. The CS representative was friendly and helpful. From the first contact on live chat.. (even out of hours!) These guys have been fantastic. Their customer understanding and service is brilliant. I bought two Fanatic Ray Air Premiums 11'6" and 12'6" as the 11'6" was out of stock, I phoned them and was offered multiple ways to pay and had my 12'6" delivered the next working day.. well after someone got a toasting for missing my order that day! Even with this they called me to update me of this little faux pas (keeping me informed was the best thing to happen rather than saying the delivery company had messed up, or other random excuses other companies make up. A big thank you for that). With the 11'6" on back order they delivered it to me the day after they had them back in stock. The dpd delivery service they use is informative to the delivery hour. Bought my Red 11’3 Sport paddle board from theSUPco and I’m very happy. I was able to preorder on Feb 1st and they said they’d be getting stock in mid-feb. Received email notification that it was dispatched Feb 12th and it arrived Feb 18th, perfectly packaged etc. I’m in Ireland, so supco deducted UK VAT from advertised price and DPD handled the Irish VAT/customs which I paid online before they could ship. All was pretty seemless and I ended up paying an extra £40/€45 after VAT/customs, which was fine.

The best way to judge a company is when things do not go to plan. I bought a hydrofoil from the team - great service. But then when I put it together one of the bolts had a problem and was then firmly stuck. Tony and his team took it on and rather than push things back to the manufacturer which would cause delays, fixed it themselves. Great goods, promptly delivered, but these successes involve limited input from ‘The Sup Company‘. Unfortunately in my direct interactions with ‘The SUP Company’ they failed to meet my expectations following a recommendation from a friend. When ordering my goods I was offered a £5 discount voucher for signing up to their newsletter, which I did and entered the received code at the correct checkout point. Despite no T&Cs suggesting otherwise the code didn’t work so I made contact using the ‘web chat’ function and was assured by a friendly sales rep that despite the code not working they would watch for my order and provide the £5 discount, but nothing happened. Followed with a polite and friendly email and still nothing happened. The underlying value isn’t important here but the poor customer service certainly leaves a sting and accordingly I won’t be buying from ‘The SUP Company’ again and will advise friends to do the same. A shame, I really wanted to like ‘The SUP Company’ as I venture into a new sport. Subsequently ‘The SUP Company’ did resolve my issue and accordingly rating amended from 1 Star to 4 Star.

I don't normally write reviews but felt compelled to do so for this company. I bought a board from them back in the summer after using their excellent demo facilities and following their knowledgeable advice. I since progressed really quickly and Tony did an amazing deal for me to trade in my used board and get me a race board to fit my brief. They have been so patient and helpful with me to help me get the right board. My partner has now taken up the sport with me and the help continues even though we keep changing our minds on things. I broke one of my fibreglass rods and they quickly replaced it , no hassle. Same for a paddle that was unfortunately damaged, no one's fault but again they sorted it. I go back to them time and again. Yes they are at times super busy but that is because they are doing a good job and the owner spends a lot of time helping people so it is quite understandable. I believe in supporting UK home grown small businesses. Thank you Sup Company, keep up the good work.

Board misses a few key features that others around the same prices offer, such as a front find to attach to, also the pump isn't great quality. A better dry bag would also be helpful.

Ordered a RED paddle board sport. Ordering online was easy. The board arrived promptly on the day expected. Board was as expected - all seemed to be in good order. The only observations were that the instructions for use could have been a little clearer in the booklet. Only complaint was the fin attachment. This required having to undo the nut and spacer, position the spacer in the bottom of the slot, insert the fin in the slot and then relocate the hole in the spacer adn tighten up. Looks like it could be easy to lose the spacer and nut. Would have been great if RED could supply a spare with each board. First outing on the board was great - stable and preformed well. Looking forward to more trips out this summer.

Everyone is friendly and helpful but not pushy at all, and really just want to help you find the right board for you. We have been really pleased with our Red Paddleboards, and the follow up customer service when we had a minor issue one morning was amazing; would highly recommend not ordering from the internet and getting the best kind of advice and back up for the future if you need it.

They got back to me fast with good advise. i ended up going for a red 10'6 and working in carbon fibre i spent a little more for the carbon 50 paddle. The quality of the board was superb and even took it out for its first outing before the harbour master Paid me a visit. As i didnt realise the river was shut. The board was stable and i was standing up straight away and having fun. The paddle i was less impressed with as on its first puting the paint had flaked of on the paddle almost looking like the surface was not prepared correctly before painting.
