Staff were very helpful and non intrusive whilst I mooched around the store. Offered to search online for other items that might fit my needs better. Tidy store with a good range of stock. Great to grab a few last minute camping bits and get some advice. Prices are competitive.

Customer service at the Worcester branch is very good. Staff have knowledge about the products and are friendly. Currently there is a stock clearance with significant reductions. I bought a great hat with a 50% discount. This store stocks a range of camping equipment along with all the expected outdoor clothes from well known brands. It's a bit low on stock probably due to camping frenzy in the UK this year. It is possible to shop and socially distance. There is full accessibility for wheelchair users.

Not as good now . Has a reduced stock range to how it used to be and asked for what I was looking for, delivery date was days away and didn't know if any would be recieve any. Plus noticed items in store considerably more expensive than advertised on their website.

I always love a blacks and even better they allow the dog to come in with us and as ever she was popular with the staff. Like most walking shops there were offers on and luckily for me, the one with disintegrated waterproof trousers during a wet canal boating trip. New pair achieved. Even better we had forgotten our map case and the assistant took me straight to the correct shelf and I steeled myself for an additional expensive ortlieb but his opening words were "and they are only £3", excellent service too.

Fantastic service! Arrived at a nearby camping site with no pump for our air beam tent. Phoned Blacks and they stayed open an extra 10 minutes for us to allow us to buy one which saved us a 3 hour trip back home to get ours! What genuinely nice chaps! Pump works great too!!

Never purchased from blacks before,I needed hiking boots and they had a sale on,what a pleasant experience, my feet were measured in every way,I had advice coming out of my ears,good quality boots at a great price,the store sells all you need for a hiking trip,it is a little pricey but cheap is no good when you are freezing or getting soaked, check them out you will not be disappointed
