These guys are wizards! I decided to get one pair for road work an another for trails. The first pair of each that were recommended, despite trying almost all the ones in the shop, we’re just perfect. The road trainers are by far the best fitting and most comfortable I have ever had. The trail shoes absolutely rock on super steep technical trails providing 100% confidence. See you guys in a couple years or so for the next pairs. Cheers, Steve.

It's rare to find a business that puts customers over profits, but this is truly one. From start to finish they were helpful, welcoming and Ollie displayed an unparalleled knowledge of their products and shoe fitment. At no point did I feel pressured into buying anything and was simply guided to the right style of shoes after a fitting session. I cannot recommend them highly enough and will definitely be returning for my next set of running shoes. The shop is modern, easily accessible, easy to find and well layed out with fantastic staff members. 10/10

I was new to running, existing trainers were most unsuitable. Popped into this shop in February, very friendly service, I was sold a pair of Hoka for around £90. They have been superb like running on air.

Superb service on my first appointment. Staff are hugely knowledgeable and can assess your running and walking gait to establish the best type of running shoe for you. I came away with a reasonably priced perfectly fitting pair of shoes with confidence they suit my running style and posture. Ability to try out on treadmill was invaluable.

I've never had gait analysis done and decided that ahead of my first marathon I should. The staff were extremely helpful and informative. There was no rushing to get the sale and I was allowed to try as many trainers as I wanted.. Going back to pairs I'd tried previously. I settled on a pair of Hoka Clifton and have done a couple of short runs in them already. They are brilliant! Well worth the money and the extra effort of spending some time in the shop getting the right shoe! I would highly recommend The Active Foot Company to anyone looking for new trainers!

After many years of buying shoes from here I have always received an honest and efficient service. I recommended other customers and purchased other items also over the years. There is no pressure to buy and there is a good range. The managers attitude towards me was never particularly friendly. I tolerated his rudeness over the years but he put off others I recommended with his rudeness. The final blow come when I returned a faulty pair of shoes and he told me that there was nothing wrong with them it was my problem and slammed the door in my face. This guy does not recognise loyalty and has not the ability to cope with any conflict or issues. You have been warned…

Went for a gait analysis, to see where improvements could be made to increase my running efficiency and reduce my injury risks. Staff were very friendly and over the course of the appointment there was loads of information to digest. Was given a few drills to use and have been gradually incorporating some of the reccomendations into my running. Time will tell if they make a difference. And so will a follow up appointment later in the year. They must be doing something right as when I mentioned them to a rival company at the running show nec, they were most uncomplimentary. Keep up the good work!

Went for a fitting to get my second pair of runners. Great knowledge and service. Was reassuring to know the Brooks I chose were the best suited for me. Recommended I stuck with Brooks due to foot width and preferred cushioning. They could have tried to push me for the add-ons but they clearly prefer to honestly sell you what you actually need. Very Covid safe.

Visited here today to get motion analysis and try on some shoes. By far the best experience I’ve had with any footwear (or sports) shop. Super knowledgeable, great range and free no pressure expert advice. Took me an hour to drive there and I will be going back every time I need anything running from now on.

I've purchased several pairs of shoes at Active Foot Store in the Costa Verde shopping center, and have never worked with such experienced, helpful, dedicated and knowledgeable sales people. Connie and others focused on finding and adapting shoes that were comfortable and supportive of my unusual feet - unmatched in both length and width, and one with a metal plate. Even after wearing shoes for a while, they welcome customers in to make slight adjustments for better fit and comfort. Connie worked with me for more than an hour yesterday. I'm glad the store is nearby. Thanks to all at Active Foot.

Absolutely brilliant service, I cannot recommend these guys enough! Seemingly limitless knowledge of running technique, bio-mechanics and the products they sell. Great range of shoes too with large numbers of sizes in stock. First visited 18 months ago with an IT band issue which had always prevented me from running much further than the end of my road - they identified the issue and provided an in-depth solution to my problem. I have now competed in multiple mountain marathon events pain free and am planning to run a 50 mile ultra marathon later this year. Today was my second visit to the Active Foot Co and again their expertise and sound advise on both technique and biomechanics has been of tremendous value towards meeting my running goals - If your in two minds whether to book an appointment my advise is, DO IT! You wont regret it.

I was trying to get back in to running and was concerned my old running shoes were doing more harm than good. I called in to this shop two weeks ago and received some fantastic service. From having my feet measured through to trying out running shoes on the treadmill, every step of the way was explained to me and all my questions answered clearly. I was given several choices of shoes to try that were suitable for me and appreciated the advice regarding correct fitting around the toes, laces and heel. I have suffered with foot problems since childhood, have had surgery on both big toes for bunions, have flat feet and now a Haglunds deformity in my right heel so finding the right footwear to start running was vital. The guys took their time finding me shoes to accomodate my problems, never felt rushed or pushed into purchasing. Tried them out on their treadmill and left with a pair of trainers I felt happy with. Three months later I can honestly say they were worth every penny, sure I paid £105 but I have never had any of the pain or problems I have experienced in the past and I have just completed my first 5k parkrun (in a decent time too!). Would totally recommend this shop, the guys know their stuff. Thanks

Don’t suffer in silence. These guys took the time to listen to my running issues and gave a detailed breakdown of why I was suffering. I have had time to build up some miles in the Sidas insoles and Brooks Ravenna 10 they recommended and am pleased to report that I am a happy runner again. As I have learned our bodies/posture changes over time but so do advancements in insole and shoe design to help correct this. Thanks again Active Foot for getting me back on track.

Staff here are excellent. Very friendly knowledgeable and helpful. They want you to have the best for you, even if it means going themselves out a sake sometimes. I have been in a couple of times for energy gels/electrolyte tablets and being vegan usually have to comb through ingredients. Now if they have something new they are on their phones checking for me before I can get mine out! Great range of shoes and accessories, but no clothing.

I called in on the off chance when in Worcester to look at some running shoes and I was blown away by the professionalism of the staff. It was like going to a Saville Row tailors but for your feet! Andy was my advisor and he was excellent. He took me through the whole process, put me on the treadmill to see how I ran and then brought me an array of shoes that were totally suited for my style of running. I was so impressed that I raved about it to all my friends and now all my family have been for the experience and bought from there. I will never go anywhere else from now on! I can't stress the importance of having the correct shoes for your application. Don't buy from cheap multi-national sport stores or off the internet just because they look good. Poor fitting shoes can cause injury. Get fitted properly and enjoy the experience!!
