I was purchasing shoes and as a staff nurse I have to pick the right ones for my long hours. I thought the experience was going to be challenging but one member of staff made it easy and stress free. Rodger went above and beyond for me, making sure not only that my shoes were right for me but also that I had the right comfort and support, by testing several different orthotic insoles. He was very polite and enthusiastic. A model employee. If you need help you should ask for him.

Staff very helpful and every time we've been in there have been plenty of items to choose from. A good sports shopping experience, based on shopping for our son who is almost 13.

Bit of a crowded layout, lots of high racking with products as usual sports direct style but in a much more cramped space. Hunting the till was a bit of a challenge though it all, however a good selection and most of the staff were friendly and agreeable.

After going to this shop many times, I feel that the large amount of negative reviews is completely unfair. I have always found the staff here very helpful, and whenever I explain to them about my autism, they are always understanding and patient with me, this is something not many shops do, as I admit I can get very stressed when shopping. Here however, whenever I get stressed, the staff do their best to calm me down and give me time to choose what shoes, trousers or whatever, i like. Looking at the other reviews, it appears my opinion isn't one shared by many. But I have never had a bad experience here.

Raja at the worthing branch was really helpful today when I was buying my first pair of trail running shoes. Even though it was really busy and he was serving lots of people at once, he still managed to help me choose right pair. I've been for a run in the pair he recommended and they are spot on!

Staff are helpful,sometimes customers are rude they take their time with you and will explain best equipment you may new. The shoe department has always impressed me. They are knowledgeable for correct footwear for sports and hiking.

After my experience today in Sports Direct, I feel that this review is totally necessary. Unfortunately, I did not catch the name of the male member of staff who served me but, he was fantastic. After, telling him about a medical condition I have, he was fully aware of this condition and the effects it has on my ability to walk. He directed me to a selection of trainers, which were not overpriced at all, he explained the technology within the trainers that will support my ankles and feet when at work and appeared to know exactly what he was talking about. Even though I zoned out slightly, I bought the recommended trainers which were at a very cheap price and after hours of walking with them on, I can safely say that they are the best trainers I have worn in a very long time. They support my ankles, they are comfortable and were exactly what I need to help eliviate some of the pain my condition causes 😊 thank you very much to this member of staff 💕

Mike the assistant we could not praise enough. His product knowledge was great, he supplied my wife with some Karrimor running shoes which has helped the pain in her feet tremendously. 10/10 for the shoes and once again Mike for being very customer focused, I will definitely be using this store again.

Went into shop at weekend when it was very busy and all staff seemed connected to a customer. One member came across and asked if I needed assistance to purchase some trainers and offered excellent advice - his patience with me was admirable [!!!] This was Raj - he is good and he is very professional.

I wondered why just the tills had perspex coverings but not the people who were serving like most big shops do........I was told the tills had it for security reasons 🤔.......also too many people in there & social distancing out of the window.... apart from that it's an alright shop 🙂

Hilarious going there. Foreign staff. For example. Asking for shorts I was shown shoes. Then socks. I then had to play charades to explain what shorts were. Lord knows what reaction I would have got if I'd asked for a cricket box!

Visited this place on a quick fly by visit.. Staff member who served me was more concerned on staring into space than acknowledging a customer waiting which is different I guess. Didn't really get the whole queuing system as seems a bit Mish matched as plenty of qué lines but not many people serving.. Don't generally shop here but last minute prep had little choice to be fussy

wow very huge store,actually most of the store is upstairs only thing thats downstairs is the escalators and lifts to take you upstairs.They have so many different iconic brands in this store including nike,addidas and londisadale.The store is on top of the 02 and new look.the whole reason why i went here is because at the uxbridge sports direct i got these trousers that are really good and i didnt mind popping in to get a couple more pairs.Chainging rooms were quite convenient.very impressed with the size of this store
