J. A.Fantastic afternoon clay shooting. Went as part of a work party. We had 10 shots each at 5 various stations. The instructor was extremely thorough and so helpful to us all in explanation, stance, aim and when to fire. Thoroughly recommend a go to anyone you wouldn't regret it.

J. P.What an experience. Had a fantastic day out learning to shoot. So on arrival to Sporting Targets we were checked in at the front desk party of 3. We were introduced to our instructor for the day John. We were given 1 shot gun to test the weight of it and to see if we were comfortable with it. After a brief demonstration on how to hold and carry a gun. We headed out to our first shooting station.
Now this was where John our instructor took the time to explain to us how a gun works and how to hold the gun and how to position your feet / stance. In no time John had us shooting and unbelievably hitting the clay's. Bearing in mind this was our first time we have ever held a gun.
So if your out for a fun packed day look no further. I would highly recommend going to Sporting Targets. The staff and our instructor John were so polite and welcoming. Thank You Sporting Targets..
L. F.We visited Sporting Targets yesterday for a clay pigeon shooting experience (a birthday gift from my husband). The lady on reception was incredibly friendly and welcoming. John who led the experience was brilliant. He was so helpful and encouraging. He explained clearly what we needed to do to be more successful and was so good at reading our reactions and adapting to ensure we both had a fantastic experience. Lovely location, throughly enjoyed the experience.
H. A.We received this as a Christmas gift and would highly recommend the experience we got to do archery, air rifle and clay pigeon shooting approx 30mins on each. We had a lovely instructor who was especially helpful with 1 of my sons who gets abit anxious about new things, he was knowledgeable and helpful whilst also letting you enjoy the experience
R.Had a fun afternoon at this shooting ground. I booked a 1hr and 30 min adult taster experience, with clay pigeon shooting, archery and air rifle. We were introduced to Rob who was our experienced instructor. He showed us to the Gun room and had us set up with the right size shotguns and out shooting clays before we knew it. Rob was lovely, a friendly chap who literally has a lifetimes experience of shooting. He gave lots of encouragement and tips on how to hit the targets! We spent good time on each section, and didn’t feel rushed through.
They have a little cafe on site and a lovely out door seating area too.
Overall a great couple of hours doing something a bit different. Will definitely be going again.

We experienced air rifle, long bow, and clay pigeon shooting.
All the staff were friendly and efficient.
Bob Cross, our instructor, is an absolute natural as a teacher. He is able somehow to to wrap-up being a teacher, mentor, and fount of knowledge with an unusual friendly and personal touch.
We loved the experience and Bob made it special for us all. Please pass our thanks on to him.
A. D.Excellent professionally run set up. Targets are well presented and safety is of the highest order . Friendly and helpful team on hand to assist ax and when necessary. Great sporting opportunity for all who are involved in shooting or learning to handle shotguns and air rifles.
The gun shop is very well kitted out with almost everything a keen shooter could want..

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Bob who was a brilliant teacher- he explained everything really clearly and the focus was always on us being safe but also having a good time.
