Fantastic Facilities! 🏋🏻‍♂️🏊🏼‍♂️ I really enjoy this gym a lot, it has really helped me both mentally & physically. The staff are very welcoming and go above and beyond to help you. I would highly recommend this gym in particular as there is always a great atmosphere inside!.

Have been a member here on and off over the last 15 years. Has everything you'd need at a gym. Open and spacious. Has a lovely small swimming pool and separate shallow pool. Nice open Cafe with pleasant outside seating area. Always polite helpful staff at hand. It's my favorite BH Live gym in Bournemouth. UPDATE.... I've had a Dr referral so popped back to try and strengthen up a bit after spine surgery. I'm enjoying Aqua Fit and Barre at the moment. Still a very lovely gym .

Very punctual, very professional, very painful visit. It’s to be expected from a deep tissue massage though. Charlotte made the whole experience easier by having great communication skills throughout. Overall the experience left me feeling much better physically and I would highly recommend that type of treatment to anybody who can handle an elbow in the back.

1st time here booked in online and turned up for my work out. All the usual equipment cardio all working and some of the resistance machines had seen better days. But plenty of sanitation spray and paper towel to clean down.

One of my favourite of the bhlive gyms. The staff are helpful and friendly, there is plenty of cleaning spray and sanitiser and a good variety of machines in the gym. Plus a nice clean pool (with a slightly warmer kids pool). Good variety of classes including bootcamps on the field outside. Football pitches for hire outside and a lovely little cafe.

Great pool and facilities, lovely staff. (Almost don't want to give it 5* and keep it a local secret - it can sometimes be hard to book the pool. Very low availability in the learner pool for babies and toddlers)

Nice leisure centre, with good football court's that can be used at a cheap price. It's well maintained with regular cleaning due to covid. The staff are also very friendly and happy to help. ☺️

For health reasons I use the Learner pool which is warm and about 4ft deep. There is also a large pool for Lane swimming, a gym with several classes, toning tables and a cafe. Check out there Website.

Great facilities. I take my 3 year old swimming her regularly and also swim on my own here too. The cafe serves sarnies, cakes and hot and cols drinks and is reasonably priced. The addition of the softplay here has made a nice touch too with reasonable prices (£2 for an hour I think?) Edited: We're now doing swimming lessons here and my little girl is loving it. Great teachers. One happy mummy :-)

I enjoy going here, I attend classes, I use the gym and I use the swimming pool for both swimming and aqua fit classes. The staff in the gym are very friendly so if you have a question about how to use a machine they will happily talk you through it. The reception team are all really helpful too, and because of them I now know about the family gym time on a Sunday and will be taking my son later today.

Very good gym, they have a pool there as well but I haven't tried it yet, but as far as the gym is conserned they have plenty of machines and a good selection of free weights. For people that are into the classes they do a good selection of those. Another good thing about BH live is that they have 3 more gym's in the Bournemouth area.

My wife and I love Pelhams. It's recently had a refit and is now top notch. All the staff are so friendly and professional. They make you feel at home and for anyone who hates the gym this place is perfect because of the warm welcome.

Gym contains both strength and cardio equipment. About 50/50 split. Pool is small, but better than not having one. Sauna is fairly large in comparison to some of the other BH Live sites. Access to gym and pool is via barcode. Access to the site can be tricky at peak times, since parts are single lane. 5 a side courts are cheap and well maintained. Facilities are very clean, and staff are always helpful.

We were visiting family in West Parley and wanted somewhere we could take our 2 yr old swimming. Found this page of Google and eye very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Lots of free parking, really nice new Leisure centre. The pool was quite small, probably only 20m and 4 lanes but really clean and modern. Due to limited Size they reached full capacity and had to wait 10 mins before we could go in. The baby pool was perfect temperature and nice big steps leading in to it allowing the young ones to play on the shallows of the steps. Really nice cafe area which we sat and enjoyed a Post-swim coffee / healthy smoothy and cake. Highly recommend.

A nice "small" centre. Easy parking. The pool wasn't too busy and the cafe was clean and tidy. I've only been once but the layout of everywhere except the pool seemed disjointed (A small gym room next to the cafe, gym changing room down stairs but gym upstairs behind a access barrier in the lobby area)

My son enjoyed the 813 club. Grea price and instructor and from what my son said the equipment was great and session informative. I spent the time having a tea in th Costa cafe area. This was a little disappointing. Lacked food choices. Overall it served its purpose. Warm drink somewhere to sit and wait free newspaper.

This is a great leisure centre with gym and plenty of activities and classes on offer. There is a 20m, four lane swimming pool and a shallow, warm water pool as well. It is also conveniently located and easy to reach on foot, by car (it has a reasonable amount of parking) and by bus (it is a very short walk away from Kinson village). There is a café with plenty of seating and tables here as well. The reception staff are always very helpful and polite. I have always had great experiences with them if I had any queries. The reasons for deducting a point are that firstly the pool, whilst it is great to have one, is on the small side and can get extremely busy and congested. Secondly, they have a unisex "changing village" and shower (cubiles) area which, if I had a choice, would not be my preference. Also, it is quite open and overlooked by the pool and also the windows into the car park. Personally I would prefer a more private/single sex changing and shower room. They do, of course, provide changing cubicles.

Great facilities, the amount of machine and the size of the place never makes it feel overcrowded, always plenty of equipment to go around. Good selection of classes but the most obnoxious reception staff, making the experience quite an unpleasant one. How can they be so different from Stokewood and Queens Park it's beyond me must have been trained by Littledown Centre managers which is even worse. Instructors are very friendly and helpful though.

Once again, there are major issues with the internet-linked treadmill and TV system. In short, it hasnt worked at all, and the "engineers were called 3 weeks ago". This is poor. What is even more ridiculous is being told that nothing happens quickly in fixing these issues? We know that! Come on Pelhams. Sort yourselves out please. And quickly! EDIT AFTER A WERK No change, no response. This venue seems to be oblivious to its paying users.
