It's great to have this pool 🎱 bar in central Bournemouth. It can be a bit rowdy. Good music and the prices, although not the best, are also not the worst! Local parking can be a bit of a nightmare, so it's probably best to get a taxi there!

Absolutely great place if you are wanting to watch sport, play pool, darts or beer pong! A group of 8 of us came here on Saturday 14th August for a stag do, we spent half a day knocking back skittle shots, playing pool, drinking beer, playing beer pong and having a jolly old time! Service was very good, although slower when the main football matches were on (3 - 4 people were serving which wasn't sufficient). We reserved a pool table but not seating, the team were very accommodating with tables that were reserved and let us know when they were booked for so we could use them (Fantastic). This would have been a five star review if it wasn't for the food...! On paper (the website & menu book) the food looked great and a good selection... We were told that there would be a wait for the food... there was 8 of us and a fairly large order.... But no, this was because once the orders are placed they are ordered externally via Just eat! Unbelievable, disgraceful were words used by other members of the stag Party (Ryan & Daryl). In summary, great place for sport, pool etc... And a great atmosphere for a large group. Would highly recommend for a big group party. We were just really surprised & disappointed about the food situation.

I don't go here often enough. Sharkeys is the perfect "chill-out" spot to catch up with old friends over a few games of pool. The place is well kept, the staff are super friendly and most importantly the pool tables are straight and level. If you havnt been down, be sure to add Sharkeys to your list of things to do.

A vibrant friendly place with the most screens I've seen in a bar. Sharkey's offers a wide variety of incentives for the casual pool player and the more dedicated. Check it out with your friends you won't be disappointed. Great fun and value for money.

The revamp has greatly improved sharkeys. Making it a much more pleasant place to visit with its cool lighting, quirky seating and range of drinks at the bar. My anguish comes from other patrons. Mainly being young students or lads, it can get quite noisy and easily result in them spilling over your area, when all you want is a quite game. *visited again last night when the game was on. It was packed in the main area but this was also spilling onto the tables making it difficult to play.

Love this place a good time for a night out or even a chilled evening with friends; the games aren’t expensive and there’s more than just pool, there is ping pong, beer pong, mario cart, you can watch the football, listen to the good music they play! A smoking area which has shelter! I like Sharkeys!!

Absolutely class service from start to finish from Sam. He always welcomes up and gave us a table straight away on a busy night. He then came straight over to take our order and found a pool table for us as soon as possible. The definition of putting a the customer first. The security and management of Sharkeys was second to none. We had a GREAT evening considering the COVID-19 restrictions. Staff were very polite in reminding people to wear masks when necessary. I only occasionally go to Sharkeys but always enjoy it. Drinks are about average price for bournemouth decent quality american pool tables. I strongly recommend booking in advance. My only complaint is I feel that £12 per hour for pool is a bit steep. But its a great night out.

I feel the tables are overpriced as you can go to Zephyr and pay 50p per game but it is a pretty nice venue, and the drinks are reasonably priced. If you're into sports events though it wins points, fights/games - as I understand they show all main events and on a screen big enough you can enjoy wherever you are inside.

I can't express the love of this place!!! They've every pool board you're looking for, there are few premium board too meant for special players. Luckily even had a chance to witness one beauty queen playing at one of those board. It's the usual sports bar with many pool boards. You can play 8 balls, both UK and US style is available. Also they've separate rooms for video games. I guess a cabin each for video games. I'm a pool addict so I didnt pay much attention to other. Awesome deals on drinks and a games of pool, have fun!! Great sports bar. My 12 year old and I wanted somewhere to play pool and table tennis and watch football. This had all three. TVs everywhere, all the tables were in good condition and really friendly staff. Desperados on tap too, which I hadn't seen before (nice!). Oh and a bonus....kids can stay until 10pm, which means they can watch the whole of an evening match, instead of being kicked out during the second half like they are in Bristol.

Great layout with a complete 360 of LCD screens covering each wall so won't miss those crucial sporting moments due to the tall guy at the front...or if you want to watch 30 channels at once, I'm sure it'll be good for that too. Clean and renewed look to the Pool Tables and the racing chairs for Game Night premier seating is a nice touch!

I have lived in Bournemouth for 6 years now, & if there's ever an event i need to watch i always know where to go... The staff & managers are fantastic & always there to help if needed even if its busy.. I run a lot of charity events personally & through work, I have dealt with small team football get together to massive Charity events in which they give us VIP rooms to use & multiple pool tables... If your ever in the Bournemouth area i would highly recommend dropping into Sharkeys for a game pool/Table Tennis or even Xbox/play-station on the massive screens!!!!

Ventured in for an hour on Saturday before closing, what a cracking place for sports fans! Staff were great, two named Sam and Morgan in particular helped us out as we had not been before and not local to the town. We only wished you stayed open beyond 2am 😂. Thankyou guys!

Went to Sharkeys for the first time recently to watch the City V LFC game. A friend had managed to book one of the VIP booths for free. Awesome. Gigantic TV and a little area for 8 of us to sit comfy and watch the game. Reasonably priced beer - friendly staff. It was busy but still seems to have a ratio of 2 Tv's per punter. It's bonkers. Had been put off going as there often seems to be dross loitering outside but it was bright and pleasant inside. One bad point - the dude in the gents trying to earn ££ for soap and aftershave etc. It's just weird. I can wash my own hands cheers.

Sharkeys is a First Class sports bar and by far the best place to watch live sports (especially football and boxing) in the Bournemouth area..Its also great for playing pool or just hanging out with friends. They have a great selection of drinks, and the staff are always super friendly and welcoming!! Highly recommend!!!

First time here Feb 26 '17 to see EFL Cup Final. It has a huge 'projector' type screen and numerous smaller screens showing live sports. Plenty of pool tables and a good selection of beers as spirits. A great place for a night out with your mates. Recommended.

An unexpected gem of a venue. Despite the fact that I don't like playing pool, I was roped into attending with a group of friends. The bar was clean, tidy and well presented, and the music was great. I genuinely want to come back and play pool sometime now, despite the fact that I'm awful at it. My approximate skill level is "blind badger wielding a squash racket" so if anybody else falls into that category and wants a game HMU.

It's pretty cool, actually! Wall to wall sports broadcast, of different sports. My only 3 critique are: 1) drinks are rather pricey 2) it looks different now since the last time I came. 3) there's this guy in the mens room that offers you dry paper after washing hands and aftershave - but the cheek of it is he expects a tip, especially when I only needed to wash my hands. Blooming cheek! But apart from those bad parts, Sharky's is a great sports bar, just not my scene though.

Nice place and fair prices but the toilet attendant always asks for money when using the gents and gets annoyed when you refuse making a trip to the toliets uncomfortable Response: Hi Rod, this was over a month ago now but it's the coloured guy (not being racist i just do not know his name obviously ) Will ask even when you not asking for his services then started shouting "show me some love and pointing at his money bowl " I appreciate with this type of job the pay is poor but its very in your face and rude especially just when trying to use the toilet when you have already paid to be there.
