It’s very big and the ambience is great

Pretty old school skatepark with very mellow painted blue bowl type section leading down a little run into a big flat banked concrete area and a hard to skate performance bowl. I'm guessing 80s construction. Some freestanding modular quarter pipes and a flat, 12 inch high, curved grind bar cemented into the ground. Bring your soft wheels and pad up. Lots of scooters, a few BMXers and a very few skaters. Plenty of on street parking nearby. Locals I met were pretty friendly

Great Park but my son died on a ramp

Slades Farm open space, as the name suggests was a farm many years ago. It now has masses of open grassland, skateboard park, velodrome, playground, cafe and plenty of seating. Lots of paths for dog walking and cycling. Great place.

Fun skatepark to ride for a couple of hours however anymore than that not much to offer when on a bike. I believe that it would be an absolutely splendid idea to resurface the skatepark because when shredding the knar at said skatepark if your to fall with the ropey surface it's like basically being skinned alive by the Mexicans in the 1850s on a cold night in stoke.

Slades Farm is a sprawling recreation area including a fenced dog agility course, a skate bowl, a velodrome, large open expanses of lawn and a refreshments cafe. There are plenty of seats and the whole area is easily accessible for cyclists and wheelchair users. Very good and suitable for the whole family.

Have been going since the 80s. Now take my own boys on their scooters. Although the concrete in the bowls is starting to crack in places, it is a great place to visit and it's free!

The kids love this space; skate park, play park, café, huge open area for playing ball etc. Skate park can get extremely busy so make sure you take a ball or other play equipment whilst waiting for it to die down.

Took my dog here today. Lovely little place. Fenced off area for dogs to run around and socialise. A little bit of agility obstacles for you and your dogs to train with

If your idea of fun is hurtling around on a small plank with a wheel in each corner come here. It has bumps an jumps and rails an a bowl so come, scoot fast on your wheeled plank, try some fancy manoeuvre, try not to fall over in a cacophony of wheels, baggy clothing and broken bones. Then go to the new cafe (and first aid point) for an ice cream or cold drink. . . Recover from your tumble, then try another move on your mates little wheeled scooter thing. . .repeat until hospitalised or until it's time for home and tea. Come back tomorrow with your bike, there's the velodrome to try just the other side of the cafe......
