Great event, went to watch The Killers supported by Manic Street Preachers.
The venue was pretty organised but does get busy around the fan village and toilets as you'd expect.
They had bars a few bars that were obviously very busy also but they seemed to have a logical queuing system.
All in all a great night and good to see people enjoying themselves again after being locked up for 2 years 😎
O. B.
Fantastic stadium home to 3 sports teams. The VIP experience here is wonderful..Yhe staff are welcoming and helpful. Lots of food and drink vendors both inside and outside the facility. If you like Thatchers cider, even better. One of my favourite places to visit.
F. C.
Few stadiums in the FA Championship, and probably none in English rugby can boast such fantastic facilities, not such an excellent atmosphere. This will always be the Bears ground to me, and watching Bristol Vs Bath rugby here is one of the best experiences a rugby fan could have (although I'm sure Bath fans will stay true to the Rec)
C. B.
Fantastic stadium. We were in a box for the game and found the facilities and service truly top notch. Great view if the game, fantastic atmosphere for Bristol Rugby. We had a great time
M. M.
Used a meeting room for a training session. Facilities are excellent, food is good. Recommended as an alternative to any off site meeting you may need a room for.

What an amazing stadium and an amazing match.
I went to see the Robins beat Middlesbrough 2-1, all on the 40th Anniversary of the Ashton Gate 8 (eight men who saved the club from extinction).
A great recommendation for a culturally significant city.
D. C.
Went to see the KILLERS. The security screen was quick and easy, the staff were very polite and friendly, the sports bar was very pleasant and comfortable and offered a good variety of drinks, the seats were comfortable and gave a great view of the concert.
r. f.
Went to comic con here was really nice afternoon (& my both covid jabs back last year) wow what a lovely stadium for footy/rugby. Bristol my adopted city should be very proud
c. c.
Nice stadium, easy to access with buses and not long walk from Bristol Town and main station
D. W.
Attended for The Killers gig. Had a great time. Only criticism was the queues for the ladies toilet
P. H.
Brilliant sport stadium. Much smaller than the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, but as swish and as comfortable as the very best.
A. H.
Really good stadium experience for the rugby. Easy access, close to transport links, bars and restaurants.
T. H.
I really enjoyed the Boxing day rugby on display especially as Leicester Tigers won with the last try of the game! The stadium was easily accessible, parking available near by and the crowds well manged (even with Covid passports). Seated in W06 quite high up but really good seats. Only complaint is the pitch screen could be a bit bigger. Otherwise a great day out.
w. r.
Modern stadium in Bristol. Easy to find. Good view from seat. Reasonable prices for tickets.
D. J.
Went here with Birmingham City a couple of weeks ago. Always a good hunting ground for us but must also say what a fantastic set up the ground is. Constantly been asking for clubs to have a bar outside the ground. If you are locked in nobody complains. Then the set up in the stand with the TV screens in a sports bar set up, brilliant and welcoming. Keep it up and keep right on kro 👍 👍 👍
J. D. H.
Great experience! The new stand makes the stadium looks modern. Inside the stadium there's enough space between rows for your legs. The only but is the sound system which is inaudible, and I think too loud even for such events, at least from where I was sitting.
A. B.
Stunning facilities. Very welcome staff
Absolutely fantastic place for our amazing students to have their graduation ceremony
K. C.
Manic street preachers warm up for Killers absolutely fantastic night .staff friendly and helpful in venue bands brilliant
P. L.
This is a great place to watch Rugby, have drinks and a nice time. The facilities are great with access to food and drinks. Signs are really useful to find the way to the seats, exits and toilets. It is safe and well secured.
D. N.
Absolutely brilliant 👏. We had our son's wedding reception here in the Heineken Suite. All the staff need to be congratulated on making us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Really made the day very special. I would recommend this place for weddings, parties etc.
E. T.
Place was clean and tidy. Met every need I could expect. Hosts very helpful.
T. B.
First time watching Bristol City women's team. Great atmosphere, really helpful staff and good clean facilities.
G. H.
First time at Ashton Gate, watching The Killers! Great venue, well organised, all in all a good night!
I. H.
Really nice ground this, good catering, stewards very helpful and pleasant.
Only slight criticism is the walk from the visitors coach park and the ground. Through a very dark and dingy industrial estate, I did feel a little vulnerable, I would want to have had my children with me .
S. H.
went here for the benn v eubank night ,what a fabulous night ,the bar staff worked extremely hard,as did the staff delivering the food ,the compare was poor and the auction went on too long .nigel benn and Chris eubank were brilliant 👏
G. M.
As a wheelchair user I was treated really good by the marshal's and we were guided to the disabled area directly to our seat. We had an awesome time seeing Russell Howard! Toilets were close and clean and drinks were a plenty! 😆. A great place
P. M.
Great place to watch a game, preferably rugby, though I was there for a football match. Can't say I enjoyed the atmosphere at that as much as you do at a rugby game. Saw a nasty side to some people, both home and away. After the lockdowns when we were desperate for any live sport, you would think fans would be more appreciative and not spoil the experience. Shame.
D. P.
Nice stadium with easy entry and exit. Good view of the pitch from the away end and not over zealous security. Didn't try the refreshments as its located near enough to the town and bars by the river to stock up well before the game.
b. p.
went for graduation. the staff were really friendly, no I mean really friendly. could not do enough to help us. we had a great time because of the staff. from the coffee guy to the people in the store to the security guy to the stadium guy. we all said these people are really nice. thank you
J. I.
Visited for my daughter's graduation. Very well organised, excellent seating, clean tidy and easy access.
b. f.
Really like this place and to say it's were , only fools and horses was filmed wicked,
Even the art work of Rodney and del boy
S. G.
Great venue for the gig.
Super organised park and ride
J. P.
Attended Ashton Gate for The Killers, made for a great venue!
S. C.
Went to see the Manics and Killers there a few weeks ago, Lots of staff/security checking bags etc on entry, every single one of them smiling, friendly and joking around with people as they entered, felt really welcome! Great job, pleasure to meet you all 👍
B. M.
Came here to see the killers. Really accommodating considering it is fairly new for non sporting events. The many bars were great and it was an easy place to navigate. Also arranged a lot of park and rides
P. B.
Great ground for a large concert, The Killers were so amazing.
R. A.
Visited the stadium for a UWE Graduation Ceremony.
The facilities and staff supporting the event were fantastic.
Great to see so many great images of the clubs' histories.
Thank you
G.
Good stadium. Have visited here for a few events. Visited this time to go to the shop.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The shop was clean, tidy, and well aired. There was a lot of stock for bristol city and the bears.
Currently it is also being used for the covid jabs, do it was busy in the car park.
Parking was free when i visited.
C.
Went to see Russel Howard. Amazing stand up had a blast.
Parking is limited on site but there is plenty around with a bit of searching and a short walk.
The stadium is big and very clean. Staff were extremely helpful with our needs and finding our seats.
Concessions stand was reasonably priced compared to other places.
Overall great experience and would go again to other events.
L. H.
We went to see the long awaited Russell Howard home coming show. Very well organised and spaced out every other row and empty seat between groups. Good facilities no long waits for drinks and eats. Stadium stewards were excellent & friendly. Great venue for the show. Thankyou BCFC.
S. M.
Good atmosphere and decent stadium
W. R.
First time here at Ashton Gate and it was a beautiful experience. You get the feel the stadium is part of the community, as members of the public walk past the main gate and the VIP section. We literally walked in to view the pitch, no heavy security. Though there were some workers around, no one tried to stop us taking pictures on the pitch. The conference rooms look great with a great choice of colour and decor. Would definitely return.
T. R.
Nice stadium, shame about the result! Great pubs either side of the ground and fairly easy to get to from the M5.
M. S.
This review is based on Ashton Gate as a concert venue. We were in one of the stands and found it cramped and uncomfortable. Not much leg room for tall people and the seats arent very wide so you'll be squashed right up. On balance I would have preferred pitch standing tickets
There were also some weird echos coming from the stand opposite the stage which was noticeable at times but not too bad. Food was ok and not too pricey.
Buses for the park and rides were well organized so getting home wasn't too hard. I would highly recommend using them
S. 5.
Modern, compact sports stadium a little way from the City Centre, overlooked by famous Clifton Suspension Bridge.
Good hospitality venue for a charity fundraising event, with helpful and accommodating on site staff.
Guest speakers tonight include Pat Lam, Bristol Bears head coach and David Flatman, retired professional player and now rugby broadcaster & pundit.
A. B.
Great venue to watch Bristol Bears Rugby team play !
M. J.
So efficient at the killers concert...:great park and ride no queues at entrance and no queues returning to P/R. And all with a full stadium!! Well done Ashton Gate!!
A. C.
Lots of staff to assist you. Prices for tickets were reasonable and the food / drink prices not as bad as I thought.
N. m.
Visited a few stadium gigs over the years, speed of entry was great hardly a que at all...security were quick an efficient (and actually had a sense of humour).
Once you're in the stadium you can disordly que like your life depends on it. (but obviously ques to be expected) just would expect abit of order or guidance for food, drink & merch. Took a wonder around from gate 2 (felt like being in a season finale of the walking dead battling through the walkers) and found a quiet corner with a merch stand and some food that didn't seem as busy. (Towards Gate 1)
Staff were all helpful and happy and atmosphere was great, was all round a great gig. Sound quality wasn't as great as other stadiums seemed a fair bit of echo off the west stand corner but not the worst I've ever heard.
R. B.
Had a great time watching Russell Howard, staff are really helpful especially with disabled visitors, we knew parking was at a premium but didn't expect £10.
J. B.
Ashton Gate Stadium is a fantastic venue. Clean, nice bars, good toilets, great views of the pitch.
But terrible for parking.
R. D.
Getting to the stadium, ( I live in Cardiff), was relatively easy. M4, M49, A4. I had decided before I went, to have something to eat prior to the match, (Bristol Bears Women v Harlequins Women). There was only 2 burger vans, one selling burgers or sausage with chips & one selling sausage in a bun. Decided on sausage & chips. Wrong decision. The sausage was ok, but the chips were the most tasteless chips I have ever had the misfortune to have, ( needless to say, didn't finish them). After I returned home I had stomach ache for 3 days. It also cost me 7.00 pounds for the priviledge.
J. W.
A nicely put together modern stadium with plenty of space in the concourses and seats and good views from the Lansdown upper stand even in the corners.
And on 19 June 2021, the rugby was particularly excellent.
D. A.
We were here for my sons graduation, acces very good and great staff, all very helpful thanks.
J. B.
I took my American friend and family to watch City Vs Sheff Utd. They loved it, it was the first time they had seen 'soccer' and they loved it.. they are huge fans now and nearly bought up all the Merc..
I. L.
Nice stadium easy access for disabled
N. M.
A nice venue with helpful staff. Plenty of options for food/drink. A great place to watch sport.
M. R.
Not here for the football, but here for my COVID vaccine! Staff and everyone involved were extremely helpful and friendly! Everything was clean and tidy as you would expect! Hats off to all the nurses, doctors and volunteers! Thank you!
B. B.
Poor facilities, toilets need a change and disappointing that they have gone on to an online programme.
T. T.
Good stadium with plenty of food and drink available. Good views of the pitch from most seats.
C. M.
Great stadium, lots of food and drink pop ups but as with most concerts preapre to wait. shame no parking near by but park and ride a goofmd option about 30 min wait after concert
J. M.
Came here to watch a few of the recent concerts and it was fantastic. Very easy entry and loads of places to buy food and drink. Lots of toilets so minimal queuing.
The sound of the bands were really decent as well as the lighting. Everyone fully enjoying themselves.
Getting out was ok after the gig had finished. Not much of a stampede which I was expecting.
We will definitely come back here to watch music again.
K. F.
Went to home opener vs. Leeds. First timer to Ashton Gate and what a great atmosphere! The walk up through the streets of fans really got the blood pumping. Once inside, it's clear to see the proud history and continued support of Bristol City. GREAT experience all around, minus the loss in the end. Thanks to my buddy for bringing me here!
I. F.
A first class modern stadium City supporters can be very proud of, if only the team's prowess and results on the pitch matched my appropriately-raised expectations. Loved my visit, enjoyed the atmosphere, the pre-match beers and yes, even the football. I'll be back, accompanying my forlorn City fan friend.
B. S.
Went to see the killers. Great venue for a gig. Long queues for drinks so didn't bother.
L. W.
Went to see the Killers, we are very lucky Bristol open their stadium to concerts, very clean, organised and friendly people
P. W.
Watched Bristol Bears v Sale Sharks. A good experience spoiled by the constant flow of blokes standing to go and get more drinks and so blocking the view. They seemed to be there for the drink rather than the rugby.
The stadium couldn't be faulted.
j. p.
My sons first rugby match. Being he is in a wheelchair was very impressed with the facilities and help we had.
Plus it was an awesome win over stade francais. Up the Bears 🐻
B. L.
Visited for AFC Bournemouth's game. Stewarding was great. Concourse underneath the stadium is big and spacious. Queues still long at half time but TV screens meant kids didn't get bored waiting. Visited shop after the game, very busy but staff worked quickly to keep things moving.
M. J.
Stewarding was first class and most attentive. Special mention to Steward Ian who was looking after the disabled section. Finally a ground that helps disabled and looks after them
N. G.
More of a general review as a neutral fan taking my lad to watch a game so we could tick another stadium off the list, so nothing a home fan wouldn't know, but the ground has improved immeasurably since I last visited some years ago. All the staff from the stewards to the bar staff were friendly and helpful. Behind the stands was large, open plan and you never felt rammed in like you can at some grounds. Plenty to see before the game, with a live band playing and more than enough bars and food kiosks for everyone with silly queues. A really nice ground, great fans, and if you're taking youngsters, somewhere you'll feel safe. Credit to all at Bristol City.
J. A.
Nice ground, good facilities.
Bristol Bears supporters don't have a great repertoire, the infamous "Briiiiiissssttttooooollll" is their main chant.
Aside from that, it can be a great atmosphere when the good rugby is flowing.... but its been a little subdued in last 2021 due to the unimaginative rugby that has resulted in many dull matches and not much for home fans to cheer about.
C. E.
A great place to be. A home of sports and outstanding hospitality. Amazing staff with excellent work ethics.
O. C.
Good looking stadium and amazing atmosphere.
C. H.
Lovely stadium, great atmosphere at Bristol Bears games
j. n.
Came as an away supporter on a Wednesday evening. Nice new(ish) ground.we came by coach, getting in and out of Bristol was a nightmare and took far longer than it should. I think it made a two hour journey into a four hour journey! But I guess it can’t be helped on a busy football day with rush hour traffic factored in. Enjoyed my first visit to Ashton Gate anyway.
M. O.
Fantastic stadium, seats are a bit cosy and tight but someone needs to sort out the lack of toilets
A. M.
Amazing local facility. Great seats, actually comfortable to watch from and brilliant hospitality restaurant
b. l.
BRISTOL CITY home is unique! Good atmosphere and Vibe.
Easy access, plenty bars inside and around.
K. T.
Eldest sons graduation. Amazing location. Well served by eating and drinking vans close to venue.
D. B.
Bristol Rugby fan, season ticket holder. Love the gate, generally good atmosphere and the food and drink is affordable.
L. T.
Good access to stadium and parking advice from security guards. Pre match entertainment and plenty of food choices.
Lovely, but short stadium tour, with our son's football team, with them also taking part in pitch side pre-match flag bearing. Then watched the match. Lovely afternoon, well organised. I can certainly recommend it.
T. M.
Fabulous venue for concerts. The Killers were amazing 👌
G. M.
Love the rugby here not so found of the football completely different atmosphere. Lovely ground and facilities.defo go again for the rugby
J. C.
Nice stadium. Away fans food and bar area not so great... Like a dungeon. Hence the rating.
So not the list hospitable.
Ground staff very helpful. Even took some pics for us.
C. F.
Here for a conference which was great. Public areas are clean and tidy. Food was great. Little cold at one point in main meeting room. Would have liked to have looked at pitch a little closer then the locked rooms we were in but still got a nice picture
D. W.
Nice little stadium plenty food a drink outside and as always 3 points to the real BCFC 👌
M. H.
Really nice modern stadium. Excellent options for food and drink pre game. The bars reminded me of great American stadiums. All designed around making the customer have a brilliant experience. Would thoroughly recommend
A. T. f.
Home of the best rugby team in UK. Amazing ground, great supporters.
A. S.
Great Bristol Bears match against Harlequins.
S. W.
We had our sons graduation there, lovely place, helpful staff, toilets clean, great experience!
r. l.
Great stadium in a nice area with plenty of quality pubs near by.
L. M.
Wonderful stadium, perfect day, very well organised and helpful and friendly staff
B. H.
Home to Bristol City and Bristol Bears. Good family fun and good corporate packages plus great meeting and event spaces. Hospitality is great on Lansdown level 2 and a fantastic way to enjoy the rugby. Plenty of excitement planned with the development of the arena over the next couple of years.
J. R.
This was the place where my Daughter's graduation took place. It was a little bit cold but nevertheless a great and proud day
l. &. E.
Great stadium. Spacious. Great views from all seats. Plenty of food and drink outlets inside and out of the ground. Stewards need to be more informed of stadium locations. Local parking difficult on big match days.
D. M.
Brilliant new facilities, great football club and good atmosphere. Love my current seat in the south stand behind the goal where I can clearly see the Clifton Suspension Bridge when the level of football is a bit naf. Serve Thachers Gold, bonus! Obviously bias, UTC
D. B.
Modern stadium on the centre of Bristol, shared by Bristol City and Bristol Bears Premiership rugby team.
I was there to watch the rugby and was impressed how quickly you could get there from the town centre. The place was well organised and the price of concessions was reasonable.
I had a decent view from my seat.
The only downside was that despite the relatively recently built stands, the toilet facilities were poorly designed, leading to enormous queues at half time.
G. S.
Great venue for upfest gallery, so much choice
J. A.
Nice clean stadium with comfy seats where Liverpool Women won the Championship.
P. K.
Had a work assessment at Ashton Gate Stadium on a cold January morning. Parked in the car park and was treated to lovely views of the stadium from the VIP box.
S. M.
Great stadium, easy to navigate and helpful attentive staff. Had better seats than booked as we moved to disabled seating so my wife's guide dog had more room. After game entertainment very good, great soloist playing guitar and dinging. Even got pics of players. Shame result was poor.
A. O.
Lovely stadium. Excellent atmoshere.
I watched the rugby and enjoyed everything on offer. Slight negative is you will need a small bottom for their small seats.
Otherwise well done Bristol.
T. W.
I recently attended a Wake at Ashton Gate, in the Heineken lounge.
The staff were brilliant, very welcoming and helpful, the food was absolutely gorgeous, and the view was fabulous.
We were given all information needed, and nothing was too much trouble.
Disabled access was absolutely no problem, there are lifts and helpful staff at every door, ready to help , direct and make our time as stress free as possible.
Which considering the occasion, was very good of them.
I would definitely go back.
And will look forward to going to visit again, as i have always been a city girl at heart 💘so I'm hoping to see my first football match at Ashton gate.🤞😘
J. C.
Great place to watch a game. The bears and City are both usually excellent to watch.
You may struggle to see the screens if sitting in the right hand corner stands (on either side).
Y. S.
Nice facilities within the stadium. I attended an awards ceremony in the lansdown suite. Security Staff are very helpful and nice spacious room, so you can social distance.
K. L.
Sunday against Leicester there was a great atmosphere and so much better and nicer than Friday night games watching the rugby. C'mon Bris 🙂🙂🙂
M. D.
Brilliant stadium. Befitting Championship footie. Will be good for Premiereship. Just needs a bit more infrastructure. The access is a bit sketchy but it's the best of a difficult job. Great venue for all kinds of occasions
p. m.
Excellent venue, modern up to date facilities very helpful staff.
R. C.
The recent redevelopment here really is FANtastic. The main new stand is excellent and the facilities for fans outside the ground are very special - still rare in football.
Many bars, food kiosks, sweet shops, drink stations. Even a stage for live bands before kick off.
D.
Haven't been here for years, plenty of decent grub available.
Only popped in to get the wife a decent red Jersey, good quality.
Looked at a bears teashirt, thought a bit pricey for an iron on logo hence only four stars.
A. E.
Really good venue. Loads of food on offer and not stupid price drinks.
P. R.
Graduation ceremony. The stadium was great. Very clean.
L. B.
Brilliant place to watch rugby atmosphere good beer and food good value for money
L. W.
Well organized and efficient. Easy to find your seat if you follow the information on your ticket. Plus it has reportedly the only beer vending machine currently in the uk.
M. H.
Very well appointed stadium. Clean, tidy and easy access.
D. W.
Comfortable seats with plenty of leg room. Quite a quiet home support. Drinks are standard price
T. S.
Amazing place very good organised and secured. We had great time very good match Poland England
Z. Z. (.
Well organised and clean stadium.
Great foods.
Almost daily events, just check it on Google.
S. E.
Had a great time there & the home fans were great before & after the match.
D. T.
One of the best grounds I've visited as an away fan in the Championship.
H. S.
We had a great time seeing Russell Howard at Ashton Gate! Our intial seats were pretty dire, couldn't see the stage despite the tickets saying we would have a great view, but the stadium staff moved everyone from closer once everyone was seated. Great time!
D. B.
Had a great time staff were helpful decent brew and the blues smashed Bristol.... KRO
N. T.
Brilliant night felt safe and it was very organised and clean
C. S.
We went to a function in the Directors Box the venuecwas very nice the staff were very friendly and courteous, the food was very fresh but very fancy fillings and I muat admit not to my taste and not much consideration to any food allergies. As with alk these places drinks were expensive and shirt measures on spirits and only one toilet for all.
D. W.
Really good experience here
C. W.
Wonderful evening, the food was good and the staff were very helpful.
Thank you.
A. S.
Love ❤ the ground one of the best ground that I been too and hope to be back soon.
J. W.
Amazing facility, quick to get food and drink to!
R. D.
The new stands are really nice, seating is a tiny bit cramped but comfortable! Food and drink is cheaper with season tickets and membership deals, on average being around £4-5 pint.
S. B.
Lansdown Suite doesn’t let you down. It helps if the team are on board also!!
N. P.
Fantastic stadium and great food and drink
K. P.
It was amazing Aston Gate stadium was just amazing xxx
L. H.
Went to winter fayre, was disappointed, thought there would have been a lot more for kids to do, eg... reindeer dust, santa decorating making, cookie decorating, mini hot chocolates, santa looked amazing but rambled on too long to keep kids interested.
M. J.
Great seats, good view, reasonable food and drink prices. Easy access. Had to walk back into Bristol City centre. No public transport available.
D. B.
Cracking stadium, great place to watch football and rugby. Recommended to anyone, easy access. Good pubs on north street just next to ashton.
B. L.
The staff were very helpful and accomodating. Went to see Russell Howard and there was plenty of hand sanitising stations and social distancing measures allowing everyone to watch the show safely. Being one of the last out of the gig the workers checked we were okay and made sure we got out of the building safely and quickly. Everywhere was very clean and felt safe.
B. H.
Visited Bristol City on the opening game of the 2018/19 season. Nice stadium, great view and fair result on the day
K.
Great place for concerts, but not for quality football!
S. L.
Was working there...nothing to say but seemed like a reasonable stadium.
H. W.
Very modern stadium, with good facilities and helpful stewards.
Reasonable prices for food and drink.
s. c.
Great Stadium
Of Course
Lots of bars and plenty of food stalls .
J. k.
Easy parking and helpful staff there 👍 also there's good vendors there for food and drinks
T. T.
Great venue, staff was very friendly and helpful.
K. S.
Loved it it's a lovely ground to watch cov city play
J. K.
Fine venue for rugby good food good 🐝 and the staff were great 😎 good venue if you are disabled the set up is good would go back again.
A. H.
Great for a wedding reception but for proper football there's better
D. P.
Easy access with plenty of food & drink hatches located in the walkways. Lots of loos too. Transport links could be better. I tend to walk from the centre myself. Nice view of the pitch from the Dolman stand.
P. H.
Always a good atmosphere and plenty of good quality food and drink outlets
N. C.
Fab experience at Ashton Gate seeing Russell Howard. Parking was relatively well organised but there's just not enough of it leading to huge queues and delays getting in. Think most people took up resident spots in the local area, which must be a pain for those living nearby. We persevered and managed to get a space at £10, not too bad price wise. Great show, great atmosphere and good option of drinks and snacks on offer. Can't wait for the Bears season to start again to see it in full swing!
J. R.
A great place to watch rugby - home of Bristol Bears. This is Bear Country!
R. J.
Amazing stadium, hospitality to suit all tastes and prices. Excellent views of the pitch from every seat. Good location and parking options.
C. W.
A great place for university graduation. Superbly run event
E. R.
Great place for events. Loads of toilets, space and infrastructure that is modern.
c. p.
Great atmosphere serves alcohol and food, staff and stewards are polite and helpful
E. L.
Very nice Stadium but lift not working after the match. Also we had a coffee and hot chocolate at half time, they were the worst we have ever had. Visit was 20/06/21 the play off final.
A. P.
The home of Bristol Bears Rugby. Always great to watch live sport.
b. e.
Great night watching Northampton saints beat Bristol
M. H.
Nice stadium shame about seat spacings - bit too close to each other to be comfortable. Long queues at the bars- need quicker system for pulling pints at a rugby match
A. L.
There for a concert and it was brilliantly organised
B. C.
Great stadium. When Bristol Bears win, it's close to heaven
S. S.
Great game of rugby! The stadium is fantastic great view of the game.
C. B.
Very nice stadium.
B. H.
Good stadium , looks much better now they've done it up.
O. O.
I had an awesome time at the stadium
G. B.
Had a very nice time meeting Santa and the reindeer but stalls weren't very appealing.
G. D.
Unbelievable concert venue, great facilities. Seen Muse, top notch performance as usual.
H. G.
Great night watching Bristol Bears. Helpful staff
D. “. H.
Decent stadium now the new stand is up. Parking is a bit of a nightmare. Veiw from the away end is good but the refreshment and toilet area are to small and get very crowded.
K. G.
Can really comment on the football experience as I only went there for my covid vaccine.
My impression of the place was something that Bristol should be very proud of.
Good car parking, plenty of toilets and facilities and a city shop for club shirts etc.
A.
Really good but the family stand I recommend putting railings
J. L.
Brilliant stadium. Plenty of toilets, bars and food. Best if you walk to it or use public transport.
R. G.
Spacious, beautiful and modern. Worth a visit!
A. F.
Charity do - very nice staff, accommodating and cheerful
m. C.
AA convention 😍 never seen so many breakdown vehicle's in one place
N. J.
Amazing place !
A. N.
I visited for Covid vaccination only - so I can only comment on that experience. Main entrance car par, despite being relatively small (considering stadium capacity) had plenty of parking spaces when I went for my jab. Well organised inside, and I was in and out in 20min (15 of which is the post jab cool off period).
H. D.
Wonderful food at Feed the Goat. Good sized seating area. Plenty of amenities and choice of other eating areas.
A. P.
Saw Russell Howard last night brilliant show but a big thanks to the stewards who helped my wife find a lower tiered seat after not coping with the height of the original. They were calm, reassuring and courteous.
C. G.
Friendly and an enjoyable place to watch rugby 🏉
A. R.
Great stadium at a reasonable price (£15 for adults on the day we were there). Dreadful game so poor atmosphere 😕
a. j.
Fantastic stadium with a great atmosphere. Great views from all seats. Easy access from the centre of Bristol.
P. W.
Not the best parking for away fans
Easy access from main roads..!!
M. B.
Brilliant hospitality, food is as good as it gets!! Staff very friendly and helpful. Shame they lost the game!!
P. W.
Great family atmosphere and well organised
T. J.
I went today to get my first covid vaccination and it was a painless experience all in all. Sign posted clearly, the volunteers were friendly and amazing! I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I travelled from Bath on public transport and the best bus to get from Bristol City centre is the 24 citylines bus which drops you a 3 minutes walk from the stadium. The returning bus stop is right across the road so simple to navigate if like myself you don't live in Bristol.
M. H.
Great stadium with good food and facilities
C. G.
Fantastic evening watching Jess Glynne and the Spice Girls
K. E.
Went along for my Covid vaccination and it was brilliantly managed.
Easy to park and loads of friendly volunteer marshalls directing you where to go. Inside, it was just as well managed at each stage, to help you through. Thank you to everyone - great job👍
C. B.
Had to suffer the indignity of staring at a giant sized banner of Robins 'legends' Lewis Carey and Wade Elliot (whoever he is?) for what felt like an eternity, while recovering from my Corona Virus vax. Grudgingly, have to admit that I was impressed by the stadium.
T. B.
Stadium itself was great but the Russell Howard concert we went to was spoilt by awful sound. I would estimate 80% of people in W8 - W9 either got moved or left as you could not hear the echoed garbled sound.
C. R.
Gets very busy on match days, massive queues for food and drink, staff handle it well and the atmosphere to watch the Bears is electric.
R. W.
Glastonbury Cheese is at Bristol Xmas Market this weekend, 27th and 28th November 21.

I'm a Bristol Rovers supporter . Yes I know.
But Ashton Gate has it all. Went on a corporate event. The place to go.
J. D.
Great venue for an amazing event. Lots of stalls and things to look at. Amazing lego display from the Gertlug team can't wait to come back and display again. Don't forget the gettlug will be at the galleries on 21st and 22nd of August. Hope to see you there.
D. T.
Spacious stadium easy access lots of foody outlets pitch looked very playable. Seating roomy.
D. J.
Great stadium, glad that it is the home of bristol bears!
V. S.
First time I’ve been at Ashton Gate Stadium was to go with my fiancé so she could get her vaccines so my impressions and review will be based on these experiences. Since it’s the biggest vaccination site in Bristol I was expecting to be busy and with big queues and everything but was surprised that it wasn’t like that at all it was quite no queues and all seemed to be very well organised. My fiancé said that inside there was social distancing etc basically all the guidance was being followed by everyone. She didn’t took long from the moment we got there until we left I would say around 15 20 min. The stadium and surroundings are very nice and all seemed very organised and clean from what I could see.
N. G.
Didn't attend football but I'm giving 5 stars because of the NHS covid staff security porters attendees for the hard work and dedication to helping everyone with the vaccins I'm sorry if I missed anyone out you are all doing an amazing service to getting the country back to normal ❤️❤️
S. D.
A huge stadium for rugby- but a good atmosphere. Seats are too close to the ones in front and next to each other- especially whilst wearing very bulky coats for cold weather! Steward on our terrace was polite, friendly and helpful. Bar staff were hard working.
P. M.
Great stadium, great atmosphere, great fans. Beer ok but - BBF (but nowhere near as good as at the source a short walk away).
D. w.
Pretty decent tbh #UTV
R. R.
I visited this stadium to watch a premiership rugby match....
I can honestly say that this is one of the best stadiums around!
Clean, tidy and easily accessible. All the staff I encountered, whether Security, marshals or bar staff, were presentable, friendly, helpful and welcoming.
This was a very well run event, I look forward to returning again soon!
R. G.
Had the Covid jab here. Incredibly impressed with the efficiency. We were in and jabbed and out before our allotted appointment time ! Free parking right outside too. Thank you NHS and all the volunteers 🙂
m. a.
Perfect experience for covid-19 vaccination. Clear where to go and where to stand. All staff very polite. Make sure to wear a blue surgical type face mask as fabric not accepted but spares on hand for use and very politely managed.
K. M.
Brilliant experience as always friendly stewards and staff...great atmosphere
R. T.
Muse concert amazingly unbelievably wonderful thank you
s. n.
Home of football and my cathedral
E. M.
Graduation setting - the sun shone and it was a fab day
D. P.
Great venue that has evolved immensely over recent years.
A. M.
The recent renovations have turned this place from a bit of a dump into what is now a really nice stadium. A tad difficult to get away from if you’re driving given it’s on the wrong side of the city for the motorways, but very nice of Bristol to always let us leave with the 3 points so it doesn’t bother me too much 😋
M. P.
Just visited to have my Covid vaccination which was very well organised, many thanks to the volunteers who are some of the unsung heroes of the pandemic so I cannot comment on the ground or the stadium and as an old Rovers supporter it would not be fair to say any more 👍
D. A.
Great day out and good facilities. Friendly atmosphere
M. J.
Great experience watching QPR beat Bristol city 😂
S. R.
Great stadium for watching football and rugby. Business facilities great also.
B. S.
Great atmosphere. Went as an away fan, not much in the way of car parks but large amount of parking on streets close to the grounds. Comfortable away seating. With good view. There is an area just before you enter the turnstile which has a good selection of drink (alcoholic too) and food. All in all a great day out.
S. C.
I was happy with the 2nd jab I received. No real side effects this time. Protected & protecting others.
Every thing went smoothly & would recommend having the vaccination at Ashton Gate.
J. X.
It was my very first visit to the meeting rooms at Ashton Gate Stadium, and I was so impressed with the elegance of the facilities! The view through the floor-to-ceiling windows that overlooked the stadium was breath-taking, especially at 7am when the sun was so brightly shining! I was thoroughly impressed! The catered full English breakfast was delicious, and the technology facilities were second to none. I truly enjoyed my time meeting with the great folks of BNI in that lovely location!
S. B.
Great venue and friendly staff
J. S.
Great place for a concert. Not the best experience trying to find our seats, considering my daughter in law was walking with her crutch..no extra help was offered!? Our experience, park & ride was the best from venue to car. Appeared to be more organized, although busy when leaving the grounds which you would expect.
M. G.
I gave Ashton Gate the Big 5 Stars because it's a Brilliant football Ground and it's great to Watch Bristol City Play at home
R. H.
Enjoyable game. Watching Bristol beat Gloucester. Everyone welcomed us with open arms. The stadium has fantastic facilities in the VIP area. Food and drink supplied was enjoyable. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great evening. We will be back!
S. W.
Great venue for business exhibitions, although not near any regular public transport.
H.
A nice stadium. Newly renovated from the old stadium which was frankly lacking a bit for the type of club. This stadium is now much better looking from the interior and exterior. The pitch itself is very good. Food can be a bit dodgy sometimes so it is best to just keep an open mind. This stadium doesn't just host the football, but concerts as well- and I can see why. Would highly recommend.
A. Q.
Great stadium, very family friendly.
D. B.
Fantastic atmosphere when the Bears play
L. M.
Went to watch the Spice Girls .. Was amazing. Ashton Gate you did a great job!!! Even with all the rain, never were the entrances packed or over crowded. Very well managed and the food was brilliant! Fish and chips and got chocolate was huge and lovely. Not what I expected from stadium food.
M. P.
A great stadium with lots of facilities and always seems clean and tidy.
A. M.
Great stadium and great atmosphere and great fans. Watched the Bristol Bears play Northampton which was a good game. The only minor downside is the fans need a few more rugby songs other than 'Bristol...Bristol...' the mascot wasn't there on the day I was there. Happy to help with a few ideas. Will be back for more games.
B. L.
Nice ground and even though Covid restrictions only allowed 6600 fans in for the National League play off final the noise was terrific and a great atmosphere.
H. H.
This stadium is probably one of the best I've ever been to. The stands are nice and modern with great atmosphere during matches. Hospitality is also very good with modern facilities and superb food highlights that. The only problem I had was the service of drinks in the concourse was very slow and unorganised.
A. J.
Superb. Clean, great atmosphere good food. Not stupidly priced.
B. W.
Crowded bar in the away end, and they ran out of cider!.. No chance to social distance if that's still your thing either
N. 9.
Ashton Gate Stadium is being used by the NHS, in Bristol, to provide a Covid 19 Vaccination centre ... I went to have my first Jab ... Extremely well organized and l felt very safe because of it ... Saff working flat out and so helpful, friendly and reassuring ... 🙂
M. F.
The Covid Vaccination setup I. Ashton Gate Stadium is incredibly slick well setup. Kudos to the NHS and everyone else involved in making it so simple and quick. You all rock.
N. B.
The stadium is fine but the transport integration is non existent. Not the fault of the stadium, but the council seriously need to have a word with themselves. For example...massive car park next door which shuts before the evening events finish.
P. M.
Went to Killers concert it was well organised from the buses at park and ride to the facilities on site. The concert was amazing
R. H.
Good ground, good club. Nice to have bars outside and inside the ground for away fans. Treated us well.
C. H.
Really impressive ground.
Visited for England U21s game. There was a great atmosphere and the ground was just the right size. Good food options such as Jamaican Jerk food on the concourse. Very modern facilities.
P. W.
Its a great stadium. Its a new modern stadium. i enjoyed the match when i was there.
L. C.
Good experience plenty treat and drink
M. C.
Staff did a great job handling the streaker even though he did change the whole feeling of the comedy show
C. B.
Wonderful. Much improved. But I am prejudiced.
J. R.
Went there to cover the Bristol City vs Reading game yesterday and it's a nice stadium. Very tidy and useful press area but the tables could be a tiny bit bigger for laptops, notes, etc.
D.
Excellent atmosphere watching the Bristol Bears here and Bristol Rugby before that. Always some light hearted entertainment in the form of the dance cam too to help with the longer stoppages in play. The beer isn't cheap but not unusually so for a stadium. Turnstyles are generally quick and the bar service only seems to suffer for big crowds (20,000+).
Would suggest getting your pies, pasties and/or sausage rolls somewhere else though as they often run out and they're not favourable to begin with.
M. G.
Excellent facilities following redevelopment with great unrestricted views of the pitch.
A. H.
Our first visit to the stadium. Bristol Bears v Gloucester guaranteed a great atmosphere. We were impressed with the ease of entry, no long queues, no overbearing security the place looked clean and impressive. Looking forward to visiting more to watch the Premiership rugby matches.
S. P.
Great stadium but the service at the bars is just ridiculously slow. Please speed the bar team up!
s. c.
Fantastic well organised for a concert. Security was top loved that you get body scanned gives you piece of mind. All staff really friendly and the bus shuttle service is a must. It was all hassle free which makes the evening more enjoyable. Thank you Ashton Gate Stadium!
C. C.
Despite being a bit of a journey from my area, a good place to visit. It's a bit of a walk from the away coaches park however. The away end could do with a bit of work though - one of the kiosks is next to the turnstiles in a slightly cramped corner. Invariably gets crowded when busy. New home stands look good though - much better than how the old stands looked. Views are good.
G. G.
great hospitality and service when gorilla artificial grass were invited.
A.
Car parking close to the ground but £8! Programme's are hard to find & cost £3.50 (not sure if this was because it was the last game of 2019). Lots of food places inside & outside the ground - bit pricey but the £6 cheeseburger was good. Beer £5 a pint. Ground is decent, very good view from the away end. Wide pitch which the home team take advantage of. Like most grounds, it takes some time getting away
L. B.
Fantastic venue for a concert by one as great as ROD STEWART. With clear markings it was easy to find disabled friendly access to the pitch and thence my seat. In the open space of the stadium it was amazing to hear the fans singing along as surround sound and from the look on Rod's face he loved it too.
R. M.
Great stadium, decent concourse. Easy to find and great pubs nearby.
J. P.
Often go to Ashton Gate for the rugby. Usually there's plenty of room, but when it's the last home game and Bristol are pushing for Europe, 20,000+ people is an awful lot for the outside to handle. Very crowded outside, with queues everywhere, limited parking but great atmosphere, prices not bad but still on the high side, food had to be eaten on the jostle. An hour before kick off and inside was queueless, easy for food and drink. Lager was flat, cider was fine, seats were fine with good views. All in all a good visit even if the result wasn't as good.
D. P.
Was visiting Bristol from the North of Scotland and took in Bristol City v Huddersfield. Beautiful stadium and brilliant atmosphere. Fans were friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Hope to be back one day!
K. S.
Friendly helpful staff. Wonderful atmosphere.
S. P.
One of the finest football stadiums in the country without a doubt. Great facilities.
T. P.
You've got football and rugby at decent levels, plenty of before game entertainment, food and drink for the occasion. You couldn't ask for much more. Family stand where the language is polite, friendly staff all over the ground. Really great day for anyone
V. A.
A great stadium! Magnificent experience.
R. B.
Great stadium since the revamp. Prices are what you would expect for alcohol. Lights can be a little bright. Well maintained and plenty of space. Well thought out entry points and the portable cider bar staff are a nice touch with contactless payments.
k. h.
Great place for a graduation ceremony...
K. B.
Enjoyed the game and atmosphere!
S. G.
Watched Take That at Ashton Gate, it was absolutely phenomenal. The way Ashton Gate had run this event was brilliant. Staff were helpful, it all really flowed well! The only thing, prices for food and drink were extortionate. Hope to see more concerts there.
H. J.
Facilities have improved tremendously. Would recommend the trip for any fan. The events outside during match days are great and there is always a great atmosphere (pre match). Largest indoor screen in Europe is amazing for other events too.
K. B.
A nice place for soccer fans and sports loving people to meet.
S. H.
attended the Bristol v Bath match loved it from start to finish I must take my family
L. H.
What a stadium! Great place for a couple of great clubs, city and bars!
C. V. D.
Fab stadium, well appointed and lots of loos etc. Long queues for drinks building up to game time so be savy about when you do that. Very basic food on offer inside and pretty much nothing gluten free, however you can bring in a bag with your own food and drink as long as you don't have glass, cans or alcohol. Not too much parking nearby so plan to get there early or walk a little way in.
C. C.
Went for the Bristol Comic Con, good location for the event! Not much parking but easy to park in residential around it.
G. G.
Not enough parking, but nice premises
D. S.
I was only there for my Covid vaccination , but the building looked great, and the ceiling mounted history of the club was an interesting read.
P. J.
Spent an evening watching Bristol rugby, The new stadium is great and the atmosphere was electric. Food and drinks were fairly priced and but had to queue, as you would expect at a big sports event. Great evening.
D. N.
What a transformation! Last came to Ashton Gate about 20 years ago. Then it was a distinctly provincial football ground. Now it's a modern sports arena with everything you'd expect from one. Fantastic job. Will look forward to coming again, and do all I can do make that happen as soon as possible.
C. R.
I could see the show fine, but the amount of stairs to get to the seats is unbelievable! 😅
S. W.
A decent ground for a championship side. Limited on site parking. Lots of catering options
J. P.
Great stadium. Parking is sparse but is available with a short walk. Plenty of food options and is accessible.
J. P.
Great venue for a concert.......lots of food and drink choice at reasonable prices
D. C.
Great stadia with good facilities. The only issue tends to be the queuing/waiting to purchase refreshments in the concourse.
D. M.
Great Atmosphere great drinks great frinds
S. B.
Great place to go and watch Bristol Bears... or City... or concerts during the summer. As stadia go, this is very modern and relatively comfortable. Plans to make the area Bristol's Sports Quarter can only make this better.
L. S.
Great place for a concert and football ( probably)
D. B.
Fantastic team and great atmosphere. I'm a Bristol City season ticket holder and wouldn't miss a match. The facilities are great and the stewards always welcome you. Great venue
i.
Well managed with friendly stewards. Even smiling happy police force!
E. T.
Great stadium. Lovely supporters and meet up with friends for the football. COYR
T. D.
Great facilities and great football and rugby. Good corporate hosting as well
T. B.
Great stadium with great views and plenty of food and drink available.
r. b.
Great stadium, great atmosphere, a great venue for sports and other events!
P. C.
Excellent stadium great facilities
P. E.
Visited for a vaccine. Stadium interior looks clean and fresh. Vaccine layout was great, as were the staff.
A. R.
Facilities and stadium are such a big improvement on when I used to visit way back when... Good food and drink choices (ok pricing), pretty good views now from most seats and generally easy to get away from after the match
P. D.
Very comfortable and modern stadium that makes the effort for the big occasion. Still maintains some atmosphere even though its modern as all the singing fans sit together Easy to get to from the centre.
K. S.
Nice modern stadium. Went there for the Rugby and had no trouble finding our block. Plenty of drinks and snacks stalls inside. Toilets had looong queues though at half-time and it wasn't sold out that day.
D. D.
Just seen Russell Howard here which was bit different. Parking not the best and I dont know my way round Bristol. Prob ok if you know where your going
T. J. B.
Visited as an away fan at the rugby. 2 things - 1. The atmosphere was amazing. Fans were really in great spirits and vocal. Really made the visit seem special. 2. We queued for 30 mins (missing 15 mins of the game) for a beer. The queues weren't even that long, just the they use the old style slow pour pumps and the bar staff really don't have any urgency. In fact, they all seemed like local students who were more interested in having a Chinese that pouring a pint. Will definitely return again, but will not bother with the in house bars!
P. B.
Great stadium to host a big match - and wonderful to see so many kids there - The Future ! - hopefully they will want to go again to see another match and then become proper football followers and not think what they might see on the TV is what football is all about.
J. J.
Went here for my vacation. The venue was Beautifully clean .Staff an absolute delight. The whole process quick and efficient
V. M.
Attended a Christmas party event 30th Nov beatles tribute.
Felt to many tables crammed in very difficult for staff serving.
For the amount of people thought the meal was very good and hot which I think is excellent for the amount of people. Except sprouts raw.
Did not think band were brilliant out of tune a lot.
S. P.
Really well presented and organised place for getting your vaccine jab.
Looks good for a rugby or football match too!...
H. L.
Visited the sports bar to watch football during Euro 2016. Food was tasty. Reasonable selection of beers but expensive. Large screen is impressive but suffers from obscured views both upstairs in the executive lounge and downstairs in the bar area.
P. A.
Large place and wide range of things to do
J. H.
Impressive venue, lovely staff, but food was disappointing.
Our event was a sit down dinner and live music.
Worst part was one of the large speakers for the pa system was located right next to our table. It was far too loud, not only ruining the night, but we left with temporary deafness & headaches!
R. C. (.
Attended here for a gig. A great venue with good facilities, friendly staff and great views of the stage from just about any part of the stadium. It has a capacity for gigs of 27,000 making it a smaller stadium in comparison to some.
t. t.
Brilliant.Thank you to our NHS Heroes for administering my 2nd vaccine! You ate Amazing!!
D. O. S.
The updates to the ground have made this a first class venue. I don't do the football that often (seen more rugby at the gate if I'm honest) but it's increasingly somewhere I would drag my family. Just need to improve the football and it'd be capacity every week😁
s. B.
Can't really comment on the stadium properly as I went and had my covid 19 vaccine there that was all well organised and quick
B. W.
Good stadium, and our seats in the upper south stand were great. Although there is definitely an issue with the queue system for drinks, it shouldn't take that long to get a beer.
J. E.
Newly developed and vastly improved stadium but the visiting fans are housed in the last remaining old stand with cramped and aged facilities.
View is OK though and plenty of local parking.
Bit awkward to drive in and out of Bristol as the traffic is always bad and the number of filtre lanes confusing for non-locals.
Nice city for a weekend break.
G. O.
Lovely anniversary meal, great food and very friendly staff.
P. B.
Excellent for Rugby, Football and concerts. Provdes snacks to Corporate dining.
D. L.
First game at home of Bristol Bears. Much fun. Great atmosphere.
M. C.
#ENGPOL U21. Great experience and great stadium.
S.
The actual stadium is amazing. The only reason I give 4 stars is because when ever I go down to the bar and grill it's shut! And the coffee shop shuts early as well. Would be 5 stars if this could change.
C. T.
Yeah without doubt fabulous stadium. But a couple of small things to mention.
1 Get the blowers in the toilets to blow out warm air, they only blow cold.
2 Get some decent soap in the soap dispensers in toilets.
3 Ask stewards not to stand at the top of steps by hand rails as this causes restricted access for me and my son who is disabled and must hold onto handrails when going up and down stairs.
P. F.
Good stadium.. made to feel welcome when the rugby is on.
a. m.
Would recommend parking away from the ground and either walking in or public transport, travelling away after the match is difficult. The away side of the stadium is okay, fairly clean, but very basic (as usual in my experience of away areas in other stadiums)
L. S.
Great stadium and the home of Bristol City FC and Bristol Rugby. The new stadium also doubles as a venue for music gigs, underneath the newly built Lansdown Stand - I saw Future Islands there and a good venue for it.
When at football matches, the new bars underneath the stands are great and it's very easy to get food and drinks at half time, season ticket holders also get a discount on drinks.
A. O.
I visited Ashton Gate whilst Bristol played Sunderland, that specific match ended 3-3. The atmosphere was amazing. I've visited other stadiums in England as well, but this one has been the best overall experience so far.
The fans are incredible. The thing about Ashton Gate, is that it's mostly visited by locals, and not like other stadiums (mainly in London) by fans worldwide.
This makes the atmosphere at the stadium way better, since the crowd is more involved.
I cannot recommend this enough. It's a fantastic venue for football.
M. D.
Went for a concert and not the football. Venue was well organised with loads of eateries, clean toilets and a great park and ride system from Cribbs. Good size for a concert so exiting took just minutes rather than hours and buses were queuing to take us away.
C. B.
I was impressed by the facilities, seating and stadium were good
O. W.
Great for either football or rugby. Plenty of seating although there could be a bit more parking now that the club's that play there are a bit bigger now. Overall it's good.
P. M.
Attended an isagenix event that was held in the new stand, have to say it was brilliant, the staff were very friendly and helpful the place was immaculate. Priced for drinks were surprisingly cheaper than I expected. A fantastic venue for the event.
J. G.
Nice place to come and watch Bournemouth play in a training session against Bristol City
J. W.
Great care of my whole family even on an under 21s England game night time. Stewards in control and doing their jobs, fantastic stadium with great atmosphere.
M. M.
Excellent stadium but tiny car park. We were here for covid jab but found.parking and friendly steward on the entrance.
b. c.
Wow changed so much since the 1970's
M. H.
Friendly staff and atmosphere. Beautiful stadium. It's improved massively over the years. Also Sainsbury's, some small pubs and cafes, a huge park and a retail park, all near by for food and parking.
J. D.
Great stadium and both sets of fans created decent atmosphere.but game was pretty poor! Sports bar a great place for pre and post beer.
t. e.
First time visit to the stadium very impressive had my second co vid jab well organized and very affiant.
H.
Bristol Bears season ticket holder. Great ground. Very well layed out. Have thought of every one when building. Highly recommended visit if get the opportunity.
S. T.
Great stadium to watch rugby
N. R. R.
Great stadium in our tour around all UK stadiums
J. J.
Awesome Venue to have concerts held in, was easy to get in with no cues and sounded great! Also Muse we're incredible! The atmosphere was breathtaking!
D. P.
This was my first visit with Fulham since the new stand was completed. The ground is cracking. A really good atmosphere can be created. Last time i went to Ashton Gate was a midweek evening kick off. Traffic getting in and out was a nightmare. I was on a supporters coach and it took us an hour to get clear from the ground. Still.. its a nice ground and Bristol have a good squad. Good day out.
m. T.
Got a new shirt for my partners birthday.. loved the shop but got served by someone who wasn't really that friendly or welcoming..Think he was some sort of either manager or supervisor .. will take more notice if names if I go there again .. I'm a great believer in costumer service..
V. S.
Saw The Killers, fab night
C. B.
Biased review... I'm a bcfc fan. However still honest in my review.
I think the stadium is a place with great atmosphere especially on match days (of all sports).
The refurbishment is good and the cafe area is clean and offers decent products. However expect the usual inflated prices for the location
Staff are always friendly and helpful (regardless of who you support).
There are other outlets just outside of the gates e.g kfc
Car parking is limited which is the biggest frustration.
M. M.
Attended to see Russell Howard, great gig. Venue was clean, socially distanced and no queues to get in.
A. F.
Brilliant atmosphere. Very easy to navigate and good staff. Parking can be difficult.
D. R.
Not the best experience in the world but if your gonna have a covid test then why not the city ground, top marks to the NHS
M. B.
Attended a conference here; good facilities. Hot lunch was provided ok standard. Coffee and tea provided at breaks. Air conditioning made the day comfortable.
H. W.
Attended the mass vaccination centre based here. Very well organised and all staff and volunteers very helpful and friendly.
K. D.
If you ignore the game...
The stadium is amazing. Had meal, and I have a fussy diet(low fodmap and gluten free) wow... All catered for.... Amazing. Staff are very professional and friendly.
G. H.
Very good stadium (and result)! Visibility was good even though sat in a corner.
S. A.
I am not a sports person I was there for covid vaccination. Seemed to be reasonably well kept building with facilities available
S. F.
Brilliant Bears victory tonight
B. R.
Great venue. Went to a comedy gig here. Pre-paid parking in Sainsburys... Walked over.
E. G.
Great atmosphere, good views of the pitch.
M. L.
Much improved stadium and very good in many aspects, however the away supporters stand left much to be desired, the concourse is extremely cramped and the toilets with a single entry and exit, with long queues for the ladies, are in dire need of upgrading.
V. V.
Went to see Muse here and the organisation was the best I've ever come across! The first people in the queue were let in way before others, we had a chance to go to the toilet and get food, and then we walked in (they were really strict about no running which was great for safety reasons) calmly. Afterwards they had organised free bus service to town as well which was amazing.
M. M.
Way better than expected football ground. Food and drink stands all around the perimeter mean that you don't have ridiculous lines at the concessions inside the ground.
S. F.
I am not really a big enthusiast of football or rugby. But this stadium is the biggest structure in Bristol South. We have all just come out of the latest lockdown measures and about to ease out of others. By the 15th of this month. I am hoping that we might be easing out of more of these by month's end, but I would have preferred if it had been a little bit later than was expected! Covid 19 scares me a bit. And lifting these measures is precipitous!
I would like to see a vaccine sorted out and sooner than opposed to any later than was announced. Others may hold other views or opinions to that. I have a basic right to be a bit more cautious by consequences of that!
A. W.
Great stadium and was lucky to get a free place in a box. Excellent food and well taken care off.Staff were great and helpful. Great day and Will be going back even with normal tickets
K. H.
Great service, wouldve got 5 stars if we won
L. L.
Great Rugby 🏉Game, amazing atmosphere 👏,
C. E.
VIP Hospitality exceeds 5 Star
M. H.
Saw Muse in concert here. Good view. Lots of food and drink available without excessive queuing. Good organisation to empty stadium and get fans out and on the right buses.
S. O.
Amazing how this place has developed. About time Bristol got the sporting venue it deserved.
L. B.
Great stadium for a big because it’s smaller than other music venues - we watched Muse here - brilliant!
A. A.
Great stadium and facilities
m. w.
The greatest football team, the world has ever seen...
J. D.
What a lovely place! Ok not been for football but Covid vaccine but even so. Organisation was second to none.
Great environment
t. e.
Came to see The Muse with my daughter, amazing night. The staff were great, the facilities spotless and friendly fast service at the bars. Absolutely faultless thanks for a great night.
A. H.
Absolutely awesome home of Bristol Bears.
F. B.

Brilliant place to watch a football game. Great seating arrangements and extremely safe for home and away fans. Great atmosphere and overall a brilliant setting to have in a great city.

Good stadium but beer is sold in plastic cups that you have to pay £1 deposit on. The deposit return facility closes before the bar. Doh! Anybody want/need 5 Ashton Gate cups?

Very well organised, brilliant atmosphere and plenty of room and drinks/food facilities. Good night with 'Take That', Rick Astley and Lou-Lou. Buses and Taxis, very well directed to right area too.

Great venue for music, but catering team don't seem to have any idea how to cater for 30000 people....less than an hour and a half of gates opening sold out of most of the limited expensive food options.

Saw Muse. Excellent concert. The best! Just surrounded by smokers. Stewards didn't seem bothered. Would think twice about attending another gig there tbh 😣

ATYEO STAND : Bristol City Vs Aston Villa 25/08/17
The concourses are small (including upper concourse,) bars understaffed and understocked...ran out of beer leaving lager or cider, and food option was an overcooked steak pasty or cheese pasty (Better to buy food from one of the vendors outside the entrance.) Staff worked hard and did their best. Toilets were clean. Seating was ok and had reasonable leg room. View of the pitch is unobsructed and two large screens show replays of goals etc. Not the worst ground I've been to but after traveling to the match I expected better in regard to food and drink.

We went there yesterday for the rugby great stadium a Credit to Bristol.

Family friendly, clean ground! Lots to do and see before the match, in regards to the history of the club, and little 'shoot and skills' challenges before the game (from the community trust for the younger fans)

The BEST football stadium in the U.K. without question

Came here for the Bristol-Gloucester derby back in March. To start off - the stadium is fantastic, great facilities, plenty of bars and food outlets on the main concourse. Although the stadium wasn't full, the atmosphere was great throughout the game and there was some great banter between the fans. Easy to get to from central Bristol via Uber and plenty of pubs around the locality. Ticket prices were surprisingly good value for front row seats and would definitely cone again. Hope to see Bristol back in the premiership soon after the disappointment of relegation (from a Glaws fan).

The away end feels very old now. Once through the turn-style it's very cramped and you're straight onto the stand.
It's fine, and sort of what you expect, but it's clear the stand for the away fans is the last to be renovated.
Also .....terrible cornish pasty.....but as we walked away with 3 points I won't deduct any for the poor pasty ;)

Hard to park. As an away fan the programmes aren't visible to purchase though was quick flash at half time at bottom of the stand and then they were gone before you could reach them.
Getting in and out if you sell out the away area is tight. The away team coach also parks on the area behind the stand a long With beer and food stands leaving not a lot of room for fans to get out.
Tickets we had were left hand side behind goal in away section. The seats don't end just after the pitch a nd don't curve into a corner but continue straight so you are distanced from the pitch even though not fear back at all. Very strange.
