Absolutely amazing company. I was nervous to do the dry suit course after a bad experience in the past, but Greg and the rest of the team were so compassionate, nurturing and calm they made it not only easy, but enjoyable. They also noticed that my dry suit was a poor fit, and helped me to find another suit (and other bits of kit) that fit me better. I now can't wait to get back out and dive in the UK, thanks to their kindness and professionalism. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I've just completed an open water dive course with my partner, and I couldn't have had a better time. Greg and his team were absolutely amazing! We did the slightly more intensive course, which involved one whole weekend of pool work (rather than several Thursday evenings which I believe they also do), and one weekend in open water. Everything was so well organised and clear. The instructors were all amazing at teaching us and such a calming influence - we always felt like we were in the safest hands. We were given all the kit we needed throughout (even for the relatively cold water), and Greg and his team were happy to answer any questions we had, and to follow up with emails with advice if we asked more complex questions. What a fantastic bunch - we will absolutely be joining their dive club, and will be doing more advanced courses in due time. I could not recommend them more highly.

Me and my partner recently completed our PADI Open Water course and I can’t fault the training we received from Greg and the rest of the Hidden Depths team. We completed the course that consisted of two weekends, one weekend consisting of pool dives and the other spending one day at Vobster Quay and then the Sunday experiencing the open water at Babbacombe beach. Having been able to complete the course in two weekends definitely helped accommodate my partner who does shift work. Being completely out of my comfort zone, it’s amazing how I found myself from my first dive in the pool slightly anxious to then being able to dive in open water not once but twice. Greg and his team put you at ease from the get go and equip you with all the skills to feel fully confident underwater. Greg’s patience and calming nature in particular was nothing short of exemplary. Cannot fault anything with the course we participated in or the team. I’m very excited to start my scuba journey with my partner and their dive club!

Greg is an excellent instructor who is really clear on the skills being taught and what is being worked on for each dive. He was really organised and was patient with all the students on my course. I've just completed an SSI Dry Suit specialty course with Greg and Robin and can honestly say I really enjoyed it, even in cold December waters! Their knowledge and experience were excellent, as was the kit and training style. I've signed up for my advanced open water diver and can't wait to jump back in in the new year!

There aren’t enough compliments or positive words to describe how excellent these guys are at their job. I took great satisfaction learning to dive with Hidden Depths, each step of the process was exciting, rewarding and hugely fulfilling. Greg and Robin were incredibly experienced and professional, also great company - I now fully appreciate why people say learning to dive in the UK makes you a good diver and I would highly recommend learning to dive here. The pool at Thornbury was particularly brilliant, and Vobster Quay was thoroughly enjoyable. Drysuit course is highly recommended too, thanks so much for the best introduction to diving that I could have wished for.

Great company with amazing instructors! Very friendly and professional. Quality of tuition is 2nd to none, they are so patient and knowledgeable. Could not recommend more if you want high quality but fairly priced scuba lessons and access to a social club who regularly dive in the sea.

Had a try Scuba lesson at Jubilee Pool in Knowle this week. Instructor was great and was a very good teacher . It was great value for money in my opinion. I would love to do it again outside the swimming pool.
