Such a great club. It has a lovely pool, sauna, jacuzzi and even a sizable steam room. The ladies gym is well equipped and cool enough for a good workout not to be uncomfortable. Decent selection of classes too. I've also always found the clientele friendly.

Purchased the £50 for 3 months deal. So far worth it attended lots of classes, gym and pool instructors are nice too . Wish there was a smoothie bar like the one in Cardiff as the centre looks a bit empty without a café except for the buttoned drinks machine and bits behind the reception.

It’s a really good gym for great value. The off peace periods are quieter, which I love , and gives me access to all the machines I need. The staff is friendly and helpful. The cleanness is on point. Only 4 stars because there could be some upgrades made on certain machines.

Protective measures in place ensure safe use of all equipment. As you enter reception, a disinfectant bottle is provided for the duration of your session, once finished, you simply return it to reception

Very good range of facilities and classes with instructors and supervision. Gymnasium, swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room etc. Ancillary services such as beauty treatments available. Large car park with overflow. Friendly helpful staff.

Currently visiting this leisure centre for the gym, haven't used the swimming facilities or attended any of the classes they have. Gym wise, it's spacious and there is variety of equipment to use. Riverside has two gym areas; the main gym, which provides weight machines, running machines etc. And there is also a weights gym, that primary provide specific weights related equipment, squat racks, chest bench etc. Overall Riverside is a great leisure centre, the staff are always helpful and friendly and the place is always seems tidy.

Great little club. We’ve been members for years. Why did we choose Riversides? Well, the off peak membership is reasonably priced at £22 a month and we are able to suspend our membership when we go to Spain in the winter and pick it back up again in the Spring. We do 2-3 Pilates classes a week which are included in our membership but if we paid £5 a time that alone would be £60 a month. The gym equipment is of a good standard, well maintained and there’s plenty of it, so no hanging around. There’s also a Ladies only Gym if women don’t want to share the gym space with men. Pool is good and if you time it right, you can have it to yourself. There’s a sauna and steam room plus a hot tub. Showers are always nice n hot and changing facilities are clean. There’s plenty of parking too. With a Hairdressers and beautician on the top floor. We’ve used the Sports Physio several times and he was really useful when I was waiting for a knee replacement. Staff are always friendly and helpful and the whole gym has a good feel about it. None of the intimidation you can some times experience at Hard Core Body Building gymnasiums. There is a small cafe but they don’t offer a great deal of variety . Great little club. Well worth considering.

Very friendly and well equipped Gym. There is a separate ladies gym for the girls who don't need the "macho". There is also a very large well equipped Weights room. A cardio area , a spin room,Swimming pool , Sauna. I would say the best part of the gym are the very friendly team, from the moment you walk through the door the reception team greet you with a smile, they know your name. The fitness classes are really fun and beneficial. The trainers are amazing happy to give there advice, a couple of helpful pointers and aren't afraid to have a laugh. All in all if you are looking for a gym in the area the riverside is a very affordable and non intimidating option.

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere & good value. You don't feel like people are staring and judging you on your fitness (or lack of it). There is a good choice of classes - the spinning classes are very good, enjoyed by beginners and more experienced members. The swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi arent too busy - except during family swim times.

Everyone is so friendly here pool can be a tiny bit cramped but great sauna jacazzi and steam room. Good range of classes! The crèche staff are great! The gym isn't as good as bradley stoke leisure but the membership is alot cheaper. Would definitely recommend! !

For the price it is a very good gym, i would like to point out that the weight room is way too cold either in winter or summer, i have complained several times to reception but not much happens, i am about to write to central management. also everybody should wear a swimming cup.
