Thanks to Colchester Rugby Club for a brilliant party/events space. I had my 40th birthday party here and the venue, staff and food were all fantastic. I can really recommend this place for a great party. Easy to book and liaise with the events manager and great/plenty of staff on the night. Thanks guys.

I went there for an event, not a match. The event was Bottomless Prosecco, Drag Bingo and a delicious tea with sandwiches, lovely cakes and fruit. Was a bit trepidatious but it was great fun and very well organised. The drag artist was really entertaining but not over the top. There was a lift up to the 1st floor as well as the stairs. A disabled loo was practically opposite the function room. Plenty of fresh air as the doors leading onto the surrounding balcony were open. Very friendly staff

Lucky enough to coach the ladies rugby team at this fantastic facility. Brand new AGP in front of a spectacular club house. With a fully stocked bar including CRFCs very own Raven porter. Pop down to watch a game and grab yourself a pint.

Large, new Rugby ground with excellent surrounding facilities for adults and kids. East direct access of A12 with plenty of tarmac parking. Cafe, coffee etc available every day.

Hired The Roman Lounge at Colchester Rugby Club for my Daughter's 21st at the weekend. Everyone had a great time! Staff were great and the food was lovely and the room was lovely and love the bar with the colour changing lights. Will definitely be back to hire again in the future! 😊

Great facilities with loads of space to walk or cycle around - paved walking/cycling path. Wonderful for dog walks. The pavilion has a large seating area and restaurant upstairs. Downstairs there is a snack place to get hot or cold drinks, crisps and chocolates. There are two fields on 3 or 4 G surfaces and another 4 grass fields.

Great new clubhouse on the western side of Colchester just off the A12. On game day food and drink available in the clubhouse and pitch side. Large viewing area on the first floor can get very busy. 3g pitch gives a fast game and a more active ball.

The staff here are always so welcoming, warm and friendly - it’s a pleasure to have the line marking contract for these guys. It really is such a well thought out place with so much to do. I enjoy watching the people on the velodrome on my break it really is a spectacle.

Nice new grounds. But lacks the homely feel of a local rugby club. The pitch is a 4g type which is not nice for players when making a tackle. Also didn't really feel welcome in the clubhouse. There was a meal on and we queued for ages in the front bar, only to be told that only meal guests could get drinks there. We asked where it says that and were told there is a sign on the door. Now it was extremely busy that day and there were people in and out of said door so the sign was never in view because the door was always open. My suggestion, put the sign on an apex board or the wall next to the door where it won't be obscured. On a positive note, the plastic cups where you pay a deposit is a great idea for the environment and makes up for the bar issue for me.

Colchester Rugby Club's new ground is very impressive. Easy access from A12 with plenty of parking. Their 10s tournament was very well organised and there was plenty of seating for food and drink. A great venue.
