The splash pool is great, however in the holidays you have to get there much earlier than they say to queue up for a slot. Twice now we've arrived 20 minutes before the slot and queued, and been told there's no more space as we approached the desk. Very disappointing for kids. Not sure why they couldn't put extra lifeguards on - especially in the holidays like they have done before.

For a good sized leisure centre it has a lot to offer the whole family. With a splash pool and swimming pool, gym, large sports hall and other facilities including a soft play area which can be hired out for parties etc. Friendly staff and affordable prices it is a good place to start for extra activities.

AT7 gym is a top notch.one of the best gym in Coventry, the equipment are up to date. It can be over crowded sometimes as it’s not that big and eventually leads to shortage of equipments. The aerobics classes are very good too. The best part is that you can always pop the kids in crèche while you work out. The crèche is clean and the creache ‘s staff are so nice and lovely with kids. My kids are always liking forward to the splash pool.

Arrived 15 minutes early to a queue of about 20 people. Yet somehow another 35+ people prior to me getting there managed to book despite reception assuring us that they definitely don't release tickets until 15 minutes before the session. Then had to wait another 45 minutes with about 30 people, to even get a chance to book a ticket for the swim an hour later. It's ridiculous, you need to have a consistent booking system across all pools, not just the Xcel.or none at all.

This is an ideal place to take your family swimming. My kids had a great time swimming. Front desk staff should be more engaged with customers to add this additional value to this facility. But the location is very spacious for social distance, and it is safe because it allowed only a minimum number of people in the pool. The price is very affordable for the family. Though, I would request management to increase the interval to one hour rather than 45 minutes. Great place and surely I will revisit it.

Was a regular place for me to go workout. Centre I moved quite a lot since the swimming pool opened and the health suite, saying that the health suite facilities aren’t always working, especially the hot tub/jacuzzi and water isn’t very warm. Overall the gym, classes and crèche etc are good. Would recommend a few more ladies only gym sessions. Staff are usually very friendly and helpful. Promotional offers would help as there’s so many other competitors around now. Glad everything is back open since the pandemic.

We went to the soft play area for a party. The soft play area is great fun with some challenge. Good facilities and competitive price.

Visited the AT7 for the first time today for a fitness class. Staff on the front desk were welcoming and Lisa led a fantastic (though tiring) Spin Class. However the facilities and building seemed very tired and in desperate need of a refurb. The pool changing rooms weren't very clean and there was a very unpleasant smell. The sports area changing rooms didn't fair much better with several lights in need of replacement and looking generally run down. It's quite clear that the AT7 didn't enjoy the same level of funding/ refurbishment that the other CV Lifestyles facilities have experienced recently, and fall well short of the standards set by The Wave and Alan Higgs. This is a shame as members attending the AT7 are paying no less than the other centres.

The staff are great but I think some of their pitches need some TLC you can see where they've made repairs etc but they need to do more the amount of times where I've nearly gone over on my ankle because of the dips etc it's bad

Went swimming with my daughter. We had a good time. Clean pool and area. No where to put your towel while having a shower so they were soaked before we even got to use them. Other than that good. They also have a play pen in the changing room so little children don't run off or try to open the door while your half naked.

We go for splash pool with children. Great kids pool with water jets, fountains and slides. Swimming lessons seem popular. Good, clean family changing facilities. Only £1.70 for the parent and toddler sessions! Lovely soft play centre. Great for kids birthdays.

Went to the splash pool for an hour session 10-11 on Saturday. 2 adults a toddler and an 8 month old £9. It was nice and quiet and my boys loved splashing, jumping in and playing with the wheels that turn the water on and off. It would be better if there was more changing cubicles with changing tables because when we went all 3 were occupied which made things difficult

Attended for my grandson's birthday. You can do your own catering which is a bonus. Play room was super fun and the children all had a fab time. A little small, very tight fit for larger parties. Well done AT7 centre.

Very friendly staff. They have family changing cubicles with a small playpen to put toddlers in when trying to get changed which was very helpful. We weren't that impressed with the childrens area as most of the things in the pool were broken. The water slides weren't on either so it was essentially a visit to a plain kids pool.

Soft play for children's party was good. Well contained area with enough to keep a 6 year old happy. Building looks like it's seen better days and getting into/out of the carpark was very difficult due to the location of the entrance leading onto a very busy roundabout and the heavy traffic on a Sunday.

Decent facilities, but terrible timetabling for the pool. Numerous occasions I've turned up 1 minute after the hour and the pool is full or closed. Don't know what they use the pool for in this time. Often Aqua fit classes going on too. Pool is clean and sauna etc great if you're into that. In summary not the best place for swimmers unless you get there ahead of schedule and check timetable especially during holidays.

I personally love the staff and facilities. I've been a regular these past couple of months and I have got to know many of the staff. They are all friendly and have a genuine care about their customers. The falicities are great too plus you get fab member benefits like free gym instruction, workout plans and reviews and a free light breakfast 🤗

Poor service at reception . The lady at the front desk you could see has no customer service skills and rather be somewhere else than talking to us. One life guard was at the front desk as well and he was helpful ,probably because he could see she couldn't care less what we were asking. Changing room facility is ok .However just a suggestion ,probably noone cares ,but at the baby changing rooms there is a little baby cage in the corner which is great ,so parents can get dressed ,but would be better if a soft mat would be placed there on the floor so if they fall they dont bang their head on the solid floor. Just a suggestion ,probably other parents would appreciate it too . We could only use the splash pool ,but it was great otherwise.

We visit this centre for swimming. The gym facilities are not wow but the swimming pools definitely are. The splash pool is great for kids but there's only one 1 hour session available on Sundays and If u miss it, you'll have to wait till the following week. You can private hire the splash pool for private functionsike kids parties or birthdays

Attended a kid's birthday party here with my 2 year old and 4 year old. They both loved it, and the kids play area seemed really good. The outside of the building could do with a lick of paint, but it seemed like it was in a good state of repair inside.

Swimming pool is decent enough, with the sauna, steam room and spa in good proximity to each other, but for the price you pay for an hour's session, the quality of the changing rooms and showers is below average in my opinion. To be fair, I have been incredibly spoiled by the amazing Bambardos Centre in Bamberg.

A nice clean public training centre, with extensive facilities and helpful staff. Just be mindful of restricted availability and first come first served queuing for the pool, clearly timetabled on their website. The gym has a little bit of everything, cardio, weight machines and free weights. Equipment repairs can be slow resulting in certain items missing, but a pleasant environment with no attitude or delays due to overcrowding. It's an inconvenience having to move changing rooms between gym and pool, with smaller lockers requiring a £1 coin. The tiny jacuzzi appears like a puddle in the spa, but the steam room is stunning, getting nice and hot. Ample free parking is provided.

We went here for a pre-booked climbing party for a group of 16 nine-year-olds, all of whom had an amazing time, even the one who started out with a broken arm in plaster!! There were two instructors who each managed a group of eight very capably and had them taking it in turns to do the climbing the wall, high walk, etc., and then they swapped groups to try whatever they'd missed first. The one instructor (can't remember his name - looked a bit like Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, sorry) was absolutely brilliant with the children. The other was a bit indifferent, but our party were all together having fun, so it probably bothered the adults more. Fab, would thoroughly recommend it for a children's birthday party. Just remember to get the parents to sign consent forms, in advance if possible, so that everyone gets a turn on everything and you're not wasting valuable climbing time waiting for paperwork.
