T. G.Visited for the T20 blast and it was my first experience at the cricket. A great night was had. Plenty of refreshment stands. Car parking was good. Stewards all helpful. Already looking forward to the next one.
S. H.We went to see Derbyshire v Middlesex at Chesterfield and the whole experience was great. The ticket office were efficient and helpful, the Chesterfield Queen's Park ground was delightful, everything was very well organised but very relaxed and everyone was incredibly friendly.
S. S.My engagement party took place at the Derbyshire County Cricket Club and it was a fantastic day. The service from all the staff at the club was absolutely fantastic and it meant that I had the perfect day. Nothing was too much trouble, they went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this venue.
T. C.Went to watch the T20 blast against Notts, been a while since I saw a match at Derby. It's certainly changed. Really good turn out to see Alex Hales wallop the ball all round the ground. Sorry Derby fans but Hales was top class and took the game away from you. 🙂👍🇬🇧

F. L.Excellent start to the upcoming season. Despite " the chill" in the air, it ws dry and privy to some good cricket. Cannot say I was part of a large lively crowd. More a part of a 50 or so subdued chat!! But cricket is cricket. Looking forward to the season. Derbyshire ground is one of the best I am able to visit. Good old fashioned welcoming cricket ground.

E.Went for the Bonfire Night event, there was plenty of space for people to stand and sit on the field n the fireworks were interesting. However, the volunteer guides didn't even know which tickets were valid to sit on the raised stand and leaving the grounds was a chaotic mess of a thousand people all packed like sardines trying to get out in the same singular direction of the exit which definitely didn't follow COVID restrictions

A. M.Small ground with not much place to sit. However people can have a good time close to the fence. But it blocks the view of the other people.
Also , it is missing a nice sight screen with a decent electronic scoreboard.

r. w.Good day out but despite super portaloos instead of proper indoor toilet facilities, doubt they will be properly maintained. Downgrades the stadium totally. Cash not taken at food outlets:disgusting and inconsiderate many elderly and other perhaps non card holders. Still enjoyed the visit though.. Best wishes for the clubs foture.

J. D.Went for a COVID test, not sign posted very well. You don't know where to go until you have gone past it I'm afraid, should have a sign on the gate really.
A. N.This is a lovely venue. We had a 3 course meal which was very nice and a good selection of drinks on offer. The staff were organised and the toilets were very clean😊.

D. C.Went to a concert to see Tina Turner Tribute at the County Cricket Ground. The singers were fantastic. It was a good turnout who attended. Food on site and drinks. The toilets were great and very clean. A good time had by all.

S. A. B.Good range of facilities but seating is limited. However there's lots of room to stand to watch the games. Several bars and places to get food at 20 20 matches. They also have extra portable toilets. Parking available locally . Good venue if they have concerts on . Best if you book tickets in advance as they don't offer concessions on the gate.

J. S.I attended an event held at the cricket clubs marquee at one side of the ground.
This event area owned by the cricket ground is a truly excellent venue. I've been here twice now and both times the standards have been exceptional, great staff, amazing food, great service, plenty of space, with a smaller outdoor area.
Loads of parking close by, easily found and accessible, not only that but it's only five minutes away from Derby City centre.
I would highly recommend this place if you need to hold an event for whatever reason. I mentioned that I have been twice, well the previous time was around three years ago and for the standards to be just as excellent both times I feel really speaks volumes of the way they work.

K. H.A lovely day, watching Warwickshire at Derbyshire. The sun was shining all day. Good Covid rules which seemed to be being followed. Wristbands to restrict you to a zone. Used parking which was right behind the stand we sat in.

B. H.Previously gave the Christmas Party events 5 stars but this year it did not meet the same standards as previous years. The ladies toilets were blocked and there was a constant supply of heat coming in through 2 vents near where we were sat; it was far too hot. The waiters kept banging into us when they were serving meals and the chairs were unstable. The dancefloor seemed smaller this year, perhaps there were more guests this year?
r. h.Like the place, staff were helpful. Could perhaps do with more signage, to the ground. Didn't help that there was road works in the city centre. Tea could be in bigger cups, felt like I hadn't had a drink. Charged £1:50, for this. My wife said it was like drinking shots, of tea.

S. J.Lovely and very friendly ground to watch cricket with your family. They do a lot activities during the games to keep the kids entertained and motivated to play cricket and obviously the cricketing facilities are amazing for the adults to enjoy them. They now organise international games as well and for the price of the ticket it’s well worth it.
L. J.It is a lovely place to watch cricket. We saw a 20-20 match and really enjoyed ourselves. The tickets have a map of the ground on the back so you can easily find your way around.
V. L.Nice ground, 20-25 minute walk from the station, or pre-book parking if possible.
Usual range of facilities, bar and burger van, club shop and book sale. Friendly stewards and staff.
Not much around it if you're looking for shops, cafes and pubs. Bring a picnic and enjoy it on the grassy bank.

S. C.Great venue. Toilets could do with an update and could so with being a bit more open. They are very small and no windows so means it is very stuffy and often smelly. Food is good depending on the choice. Staff are lovely and really friendly and make the experience that little bit better

C. H.Fantastic ground. Plenty of seats during the T20 game against Leicester. Still under construction at the racecourse end. Make sure you bring a warm coat and gloves because the cold breeze hits toward the evening.
J. M.It is a good place to get a coffee or a pint and a nice meal at reasonable prices staff are pleasant and helpful try and get there when a match is being played. Seating is good and available simply put,
come and enjoy.

R. G.Yes it has its limitations re seating and it's not on a par with Trent Bridge et al. However it's because of this why I like it. It feels like a large village green ground. Good facilities and food and drink well priced. With parking right next to pitch it's extremely handy.
A. K.The cricket ground is fine but where they setup the fair it was mud and water puddles so not a good experience. The fireworks were amazing.

P. W.The staff here are friendly and helpful. However the choice of wine in the bars is dreadful and, at £5 a glass, they should be providing a good quality drink.
I. S.Among county grounds Derby is one of the most modest in facilities. It compensates with a friendly welcome - even to dogs - and good viewing opportunities more or less behind the bowler's arm and quite close to the action. Coffee in need of an upgrade.
D. B.Not the biggest of venues but I've always found everyone connected with Derbyshire County Cricket Club to be friendly and helpful. One of my favourite places to watch cricket.
