2 of my kids (9 & 11) have practically grown up here, they love nothing better than going skating. We've even had birthday parties there which were fantastic. Staff are always polite & helpful, all amazing with the little ones. Also the regular customers there always have time for the younger less experienced skaters which is amazing to see. Very welcome safe atmosphere Keep up the good work 👍👍

Love our family Sunday afternoon skates here, Isobel wanted her 8th birthday party at rollerworld, the staff made sure we were looked after and even cut up the cake and handed out the goodie bags to all her friends, when they left.

Nothing like rollerblades and music gives that 80's vibes more! And that is what makes this place great. The staff is friendly and always on point ready to assist who is in difficulty. It is a good place for families to go. Despite my poor balance skills I will definitely go again!

Great day out. Huge free car park, only £4 if you have your own skates or £6 if you need to hire. Can stay all 5 hours of the skate session and maple floor awesome! Laid back cafe area and the disco lighting and music was brilliant too! I enjoyed it as much as the children although I opted out of the roller skating games that popped up throughout the afternoon. All in all, great value, super fun and lovely staff! We’ll be back! Slight drawback of lockers being inside the hire room so you have to ask staff to access them. Best to bring a rucksack with no valuables and dump it somewhere accessible so you can grab your bits. We took our own drinks with us and nobody seemed to mind us drinking them in the cafe area.

Tuesday night visit , over crowded is understatement with the virus about I heard one doorman say they was over capacity when letting people in fire hazard if anything. Full of children with no adult supervision safety should be a priority an accident waiting to happen. Amazing skate rink

Great fun for all ages. Tuesday evenings is the best time to go as its only £2 entry and £2 for skate hire rather than the £9.50 it usually costs 👍🏻

Great place to go with a group of people, although I did notice some go solo. Either way it's alot of fun. They played 90s music (mostly RnB) when I went on a Saturday night. You can take your own skates or in-line roller blades if you wanted however they do have some to rent for a small fee. They have food and drink (including alcohol) available until 1hour prior to closing. They don't allow you to bring your own in of any kind. There is also a small area to practice if you are like me and have not worn skates for more than a decade!

First thing I would like to mention is what an amazing team of staff that I am employed here... The level of customer care was way above what was expected. As I had just turned 50 rather than a bucket list I wanted to relive activities that I enjoyed doing during my teanage years.. so having not wore rooler boots for over 35 years I thought it would be fun to to visit rollerworld .. I don't no 3xactly how it happen one minute I was stood up and the next I was lying flat on my back. ...with in seconds staff were at my side with genuine care and concern assistance.. and helped me up took my bbots off and aides me off the rink... I can't remember his name a huge thank you to the 7ft gentle giant who helped

Yesterday we had a Rollerworld party for my 11 year old daughter. From arrival to conclusion the party ran seamlessly due to the excellent care, efficiency and friendliness of all the staff. We were greeted and food orders taken, given the timings for food and what would be happening. Party was called on time, hot food delivered immediately, our own cake was looked after and put in party bags. Rollerworld is a perfect, hassle-free venue for a party - highly recommended! Massive thanks to them from my daughter who thoroughly enjoyed herself.

Is a nice place. Is better for kids, but adults also can have fun. Cover is £6.5 and rent of rollers £2. They only open from 7pm to 10 pm. They prices of the food are ok, they sell burgers, chips, onion rings and mozzarella sticks. Portions are small (perfect for kids). They don't have options of dessert. Good service from the the staff. It was Friday night and it wasn't too crowded. The ring looks in good condition, but is not too big.

Wow, had a great time here with my 11 year old sister, she loved it. Hiring was easy, good car parking, food and drink available if needed, and the DJ was playing some good tunes, staff were friendly and helpful, making sure you were okay if you had fall. Love the fact they have a bar after 7pm ( that will be fun!).. Hope to meet the love of my life here skating away and skate till our legs drop off.

This saturday, my wife and I attended a charity boxing event here. The place was super busy and I lost my phone. After informing security, I was extremely impressed with the level of professionlism and support they gave. They helped me through the crowds and I was able to locate my phone. Following this, situations arised around our table which were dealt with extremely quickly. Keep up the good work!

Have visited since I was in my early teens and even into my 40's still pay Rollerworld the odd andom visit. One of today's few places that allow kids (or Adults) to have fun without the need for the WIFI. Definitely worth a visit or two!

Many years on and still going strong. Funding for Rollerworld Derby from outside sources such as the local council is none existence. It's in the local area's interests, such has the council to keep this Special Attraction open. Its MASSIVELY important for all those who visit through out the week. Youngters social meeting place etc £10000 a year to rent is sacrilege. If only we could get our own donated building.

Loved it here as a beginner roller skater. Music is a great mix for all ages and it was lovely and clean. There is even a small section for people learning to skate which is a great idea. My only small issue was I couldn't skate on the carpet once off the rink, as areas were very worn out and uneven but I put that down to me being a beginner. Will definitely come again. Thanks for having us!

Yes it's old and dated and the food is not the best quality but also it cheap for food and drink. They do not rip you off. Staff were lovely and very helpful when my daughter fell and hurt her wrist. My girls and I have had a great few hours skating. It was busy but that also shows it's not bad value for money.

It was helpful to have a small practice rink before going on the main rink. We went for a child's birthday party and the entertainment was particularly good. The food was basic and the venue felt tired although the staff were pleasant and there seemed to be a high level of respect between people of all ages.

This was my second recent visit with my son and a much better experience than my first visit. Staff on the rink were helpful, friendly and very good with the kids making sure they were safe and happy. It's a nice rink and a decent set up so will be going back again

A fantastic place to visit. It's fun, the staff are friendly and helpful and it's a good place to go for something different to do. There is the main rink and then a smaller rink to practice on until you feel more confident. The staff do help if you fall over and if first aid is needed the staff are fantastic. Every now and again the staff round everyone together to play a game and also the lights are dimmed and disco lights put on. You can hire skates or bring your own. There is also a small diner and the food is a really good price and very tasty. We went for a party and the birthday boy was made to feel very special. Well worth a visit.

The staff were helpful and the rink floor is good. However despite their attempts to cater for disabled access the venue really is not set up for it. Steps at the front with only a fold up wheelchair ramp. This turned out to be too narrow for my chair and it was only the quick action of the staff prevented an accident. Good for the skaters bit not so much for me to spectate.

A great way to work off a large breakfast, all age group's. Skating frames are available for the partially handicapped. Hire cost of boot's is reasonable. There's a cafe inside and a moderate sized carpark to the side and rear of the property.

I'd mot been for years and decided to take my kids to try rollerskating. On arrival, the older of the two decided she might not like it but the staff were happy for us to take her in to have a look. Once she'd seen me skating with her younger sister she soon changed her mind! We spent an enjoyable afternoon and now have another venue to add to the list for rainy day attractions. The cafe caters for children's birthday parties but the section open for general use needs checking more regularly for spilled drinks and dirty tables. Otherwise a typical fast food service

Its good, I do enjoy going BUT something should be done about the speed skating very close to kids that's learning or a beginner at skating. People need to remember they started off slow and wobbly at one point. It used to be controlled well, now it's like a free for all. 1 rink monitor is amazing the others are lazy. We try to visit Rollerworld Derby each year that we return to the UK. It is all ages fun, affordable and easy to get to from Nottingham. The Family Night on Wednesdays has a great atmosphere and my kids (ages 7-15) look forward to the disco lights and games that staff run later in the evening. We all love it!

I've been lots of times and can skate ok, took my son today and hired skates. They definately need to buy some new hire skates. Especially as they are charging to borrow them. They are buckled, tatty and very uncomfortable. I tried 3 pairs today all the same bad quality and did not feel safe. Plus side the music and atmosphere is good and great for adults and kids.

£5 to get in and £2 skate hire for the school holidays, half price I think. One big main ring with DJ and music for skating and a smaller one for training. Cafe for food and drinks, which have to be eaten in there. Can be booked for parties. Staff on the ring all the time for safety.
