A nice centre for a lot of activities. I visit here with my granddaughter for ballet, dance and gymnastic lessons. Big carpark. The centre has really missed a trick however in not having a swimming pool attached, as it is in lovely surroundings

My daughter has been going to trampoline club for a few months now and absolutely loves it. She is always so excited to tell me what’s she’s been doing and the progress she has made. Lee is very friendly and approachable and gives the children lots of positive support and encouragement.

I took my little boy to a Soft play session here and he loved it, lots to do. Staff were friendly and helpful. I asked about parties as well while we were there and the lady on the desk was very helpful and I've come away with all the information I needed.

My Son really looks forward to his trampolining class. He says it is great fun! Lee the coach is friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic. I would definitely recommend his classes.

My two sons have been attending the class for around 2-3 months. They throughly enjoy their classes, the teacher Lee is very friendly, approachable and kind. I have given 5 stars due to the service and my children love it 🙂

They've just completed a refurb of the gym with all new cardio kit, flooring, weights area and a big rig. It's also meant they can now reopen the other half of the sports hall. Looks really nice.

Anika really enjoys attending Lee's trampolining classes each week. Lee is very approachable, friendly and always smiling. We are very happy with all the facilities at Springwood Leisure Centre for this club.

The staff are accommodating and friendly. The price for hiring a badminton court is a little pricey compared to others in the area. The conditions of the court could have been better but overall it was a great experience.

Been a member for about just over a year ..no idiots here. Do loads of things for kids too .nice gym equipment... please atmosphere..in no way do I feel intimidated with bigger gym foke there.. staff all chilled and very approachable...good choice if classes although I don't do many.. I thing they could offer is a bit more choice of music on screens like some gyms do a choice of channel with headset port..other than this I have no desire to move to a better gym

Booked a disco party here. The room was fantastic and the packages available made for a great disco. The rest of the building looked very clean and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly and helpful!! Would recommend for party bookings but I am sure if I lived closer, it would be a great place to go to the gym as well.

Since Lee has taken over the classes Jack has made phenomenal progress with his trampolining skills. Lee has given Jack the confidence to try the trickier moves and he’s enjoying the class immensely.

Went here for a toddler party. The hall is hired and then you are provided with bouncy castle and soft play equipment. Fun was had by all the children. It was a good party. Not sure who provided the food for the party though, but was typical toddler party food.

Is tho the only place I know that offers quality sport? Yes it is!!! This is a beauty in all its might with a lot of sports playing here and it is surprising to the busy ness that it is so clean and sparkly. It doesn't smell like sweat either. The gym equipment is quality gold and updated including junior cards for youngster who are over 12 and they can do the cardiovascular exercises. For the adults there are a variety of classes for them too like zumba and cycling classes of different sorts. This is a great place and would recommend for all.

I've been a member for about 8yrs having previously been part of most of the other major gyms around Derby. I'll start with the positives:- Easy to get to on foot as I live in Oakwood. Cheap @ £30/month Also gives access to gym at Velodrome Generally good range of weights and equipment Better ifs.. :- Reception team not customer focussed and usually don't acknowledge when you walk in/leave.. They also seem to crowd around one problem and let queues get longer rather than help users get through the gate. Spin class music within gym is usually so loud i can't hear my own music Often young kids in there messing about but tbf the staff usually deal with them Car park often full at peak times Needs a reverse sit-up machine for back muscles. Not sure why this was removed during the last refurb but I miss it! Bob

Great local place to use the gym. They also have facilities for outdoor football, squash, badminton,basketball and many other sports. Would be nice to see a pool!!

Circuit class monday at 6pm ...my first one in about 2 yrs .. as been doing other classes .... definately a five star class. Really felt worked afterwards,much better layout and great instructor Andy. Very helpful!!! as i was only one without a partner in class didnt make a difference . Will make this my monday classes from now on 👌

As well as a clean environment with excellent facilities this pool also lets us use the shower facilities for £2. Fantastic for event campers at Loko Park.
