Owners very friendly and keeps a very clean woodland too. Parking is great and the plot I had was far enough away from the rest for a quiet evening. Will definitely be coming back!

If you want a good days fishing you can't go wrong with candy corner fishery it's very clean and the surroundings are beautiful. They have all the amenities you need food orders are fetched to your pegs very clean toilets you can buy bait if you need to at very competitively prices. Depending who is on at any given day Jamie or Sarah they are very approachable and will bend over backwards to help you should you need anything. There is the main lake called Oscars another called AJ's and 2 strip ponds over the back the fish are very clean and fighting fit and they get good weights on match days. They are based on root road and also have a website where you can get all the directions to the fishery.

Superb bacon sandwich on focaccai bread, fishing hard due to hot weather but still managed to find 4 carp up to 5lb.

Nice looking place, good parking but overall disappointing as it's quite over grown in places by the island on Hoskers lake, got snapped off even on heavy gear by fish running into tree branches and bushes hanging into the water so fish welfare abit of an issue for me, Could do with a tidy up really to stop this happening.

I've known Jamie for years and he doesn't suffer fools lightly. He's one of those owners who cares for the fish as well as the anglers. My son and I had a day there and we fished at the top end of AJs. We fished all day and had loads of fish on Candy Corner pellets, the bacon sandwiches were spot on. Candy Corner is every thing most anglers want, give it a try you won't be sorry.

Where can I start jamie sarah and Fred are amazing people who look after you whilst you fish, this is the most beautiful place I have ever fished warm and very friendly, my husband and I have fished here for almost 2yrs the fish are in an amazing condition the pegs are kept very clean the reeds are kept very tidy. Yes you have good days and bad days but I can catch anything from 1 to 200 fish a day and no I'm not kidding ok some might be small but they are still fish and they count at the end of the day. We have visited various places but always come back to candy corner because of the friendliness we receive and the beautiful fish we catch oh and not to forget the bloody amazing sausage and egg bloomers we get hand delivered to our peg by either jamie or sarah and her dad Fred. Thank you so much for making our days special we will see you tomorrow. Xxxxx

Great venue for pole fishing on Hoskers and also Ajs for all types of angling. Fishery pellets only but good amount for money. Be wary some big fish in here. Had a 20 elastic stripped out of pole.

Nice lake fished hoskers didn't fish well when we fished it there is quite a few bait bans and rules for the lakes but friendly staff are helpful
