I.Apart from the weather, showers n heavy showers mixed in with bits of nicer weather dint help, but apart frm that, ferry boat was same old ferryboat, i pulled a 6lb 3oz carp out n that was that.
L. K.Lovely site. Went for a weekend but ended up staying for a fortnight! Great fishing. Lovely walks along the canal. Plenty of good country pubs for meals within a short drive. Very friendly and helpful owner. Can't wait to go back next year.

Clean and tidy with toilet facilities and excellent fishing the owners are brilliant and helpful so get yourself here and give it a try !!!! r. j.Very nice place it is clean and tidy with perfect owners day ticket was £6 which is about average for the area, probably did not pick the best day or fish it right however as I only caught one fish all day but others there where doing quite well so more than likely my poor fishing ability and not the location
D. H.Camping and caravanning club site. Lovely quiet area with picturesque fishing lakes on site. Immaculate toilets and showers. Friendly owners. Trainline nearby which doesn't disturb too much. Level and open pitches. Some with electric. Canal and river walks nearby. Pub with average food not far away.

There are toilets & showers all be only one of each for both sexes , they are very clean
The owners are very friendly.

Two well stocked, but small fishing ponds...great for fathers and sons, extremely quiet and just a moments walk from the canal path to mexborough town centre, lots of nice walks and nature reserves close to site....and much much more besides all within a short drive...conisborough castle....elsecar heritage railway museum etc etc etc.
