Reviews of Trans Pennine Trail Conisbrough

The Trans Pennine Trail or TPT is fantastic for Walkers, Dog walkers, joggers, horse riders and cyclists. There's literally 100s of miles of it most of which is now tarmaced and traffic free. Sometimes you have to come off the trail and follow signs until you get back on but only occasionally. If you Google it you'll find websites and apps with maps showing exactly where the trail goes. Recently I rode from my village to Penistone and back, a round trip of 42 miles, all off road. The only time I touched a road was to cross over it. Sustrans have done an excellent job over the last 10 years turning sections of the trail close to Mexborough, Conisbrough, Edlington etc. from a horrible dirty waterlogged track into the great trail we have today. Its not just a trail to use to keep off the road, there are some fantastic views of areas that you don't get see from the road. I use the TPT a lot, I highly recommend it to anyone.

(Translated) An interesting, long and varied route not only for cyclists.

Ciekawa, długa i urozmaicona trasa nie tylko dla rowerzystów.

(Translated) The more interesting part of this trail (in my opinion) is towards the Conisbrough Viaduct. Due to the greater variety of the area. In this part it just gets boring :)
However, it is a great place for a walk for the whole family. A large part of it is hardened, so there is no concern about muddy shoes.
