Visited the canal side cafe which is part of boroughmuir sports Centre, nice view of the rugby pitch, friendly bar service and generally busy with walkers and gym users it’s a handy pit stop when walking canal side

Brilliant space inside and out, the terrace has been a great place when the restrictions allow drinks outside and the service has been exemplary!

This stadium is easy to access tha facilities are very good the lounge bar is well stocked and has very good and friendly staff, the catering is good you order at the bar. it has access out onto a substantial balcony area which allows very good viewing over all the sports field

I was here for work training. Seemed a nice venue, a little odd to be walking through a leisure centre but that’s not a big issue. Food and refreshments provided were nice.

Following a refit the bar at Meggetland is now the Canalside cafe replacing the somewhat time-worn look from before and making it much more welcoming to the non-rugby crowd and serving soups, panini, speciality teas and coffees

I had my first visit to the new Canalside Café at Boroughmuir Rugby during the 7's festival and wow what a great little venue. Combining a café with a community sports club has really worked and is very welcoming to a much wider audience than a normal rugby club would expect. Food was delicious with a wide variety of hot and Cold drinks too. Combine this with all the other facilities on site (Rugby and Hockey Clubs, with 3G pitches for everything else and a Gym) makes this an ideal hub for socialising in the local community!!
