K. R.Was their playing in a team match the tables we used had been recovered and played very well a bit pricy for drink not that I had any as was driving a good night and a great atmosphere

A. T.A comfortable, welcoming and friendly 'proper' snooker club for aspiring players. Tables all newly covered with fresh cloths, good practice size pockets and tight cushions. New balls. Peaceful, warm and clean. Helpful, welcoming staff and friendly patrons. Good prices and deals. Nice little bar with a selection of rolls, snacks and decent liquor. Regular weekly handicap tourneys and links to the amateur and pro circuit for the bigger competitions. Perfect situation for anyone seriously mad about the game. Looks like I might have to become a regular!

T.I love it, and I have been going for forty years, and that was back in the day when the two brothers owned it,and Scotland had a budding young snooker champion, Stephen Hendry, and since those days, Phillip M,has been a brilliant owner, over the years and has extended his enterprise to take on the, shandon snooker and pool centre, and I hope that he keeps it going to the max
a. h.i enjoy the odd frame of snooker,so i play every thursday night at the locarno. the lassie behind the bar is always helpful,and there are some expierenced players that can give you the odd tip or advice if you want,all in all ,a nice friendly atmosphere,for a frame or drink.
