Huge!!! HUGE!! Im play for boroughmuir cricket club. This is our home ground!! A wonderful venue. You have the grass pitch and artificial too. Lovely nets. We have an bowling machine as well for that extra precision for tuning a particular shot.

Great sports facility near central Edinburgh, suitable for a wide range of indoor & outdoor sports including hockey, rugby, football and volleyball. Large capacity for spectators, decent changing rooms and even a pretty nice cafe serving hot drinks and morning rolls. Free parking and very helpful staff too.

Decent facilities but 4g pitch seems a bit flat possibly with the amount of usage. Been twice on a Sunday and no parking available. Parked on road next to car park only to find parking attendant lurking around. Be aware!

Very good pilates classes from Edinburgh leisure. However, it is a bit annoying they don't have mats, balls, elastic bands and equipment too do the class like all other edinburgh leisure venues.

Good venue. Stand is the right size for creating atmosphere (I was at an Edinburgh Wolves game). Good facilities and a nice bar. Handy for the 10 and 27 buses.

Im sure its fine for sports but i went there to work on a coffee vendor and when I asked for access to water (as promised) i got shrugs and had to go up into the building to fill up 30 litres and carry it back so it wasnt the best but anyway im sure the kids had fun and the drunk parents

Great set up great facilties. one of the best rugby clubs in edinburgh. Saw Edinburgh vs Munster here at the end of last season, whilst the pitch at Murrayfield was being relaid. Frankly a much more suitable sized venue for the average Edinburgh game turnout: Murrayfield tends to swamp the couple of thousand or so that turn out for Edinburgh's weekly Pro 12 games, usually leading to a flat atmosphere. By contrast Meggetland felt full and lively, with a good crowd and excellent proximity to the action on the pitch. Let down slightly by the toilet facilities, which consisted of a clutch of portaloos located near the entrance. Other than that, a good, albeit small, stadium.
