We had our sons 7th birthday party here last week, angel and Ross were just amazing . All the kids had a ball and they even got the big kids to join in at the end which was great fun for all. The pizza & ice cream went down a treat 🎉. Was a stress free party from start to finish for us (even got to have a hot coffee) . The end of the 2 hours all the kids got a certificate and party bags .Can’t recommend this place enough . Thanks again

We had my son's 10th birthday party here. The kids had an amazing time. Robyn and Angel were great with them and ensured they had fun! Plenty football fun followed by plenty food, juice, ice cream, cake, chocolate, party bags, medals, certificates and an unlimited supply of slushies! 10 happy boys and a stress free mum! Thank you!

Had my son's 11th birthday party here this afternoon. Kids were between 6 and 13 and they accommodated and included all children. Coach Val was great, as was Ross and the team. Very happy boys (and a wee sister). Highly recommend.

I’ve had 3 birthday parties now for my two sons at Portobello Powerleague and they’ve all been brilliant. All of the staff are so friendly, helpful and great with the kids. My boys have also been to football camps here and have always really enjoyed them. Can’t praise everyone highly enough!

Came here for a stag do, played dodge ball and had a great laugh. The facilities are good, pitches are well maintained.The staff were great as well, val kept things fun and moving despite it being more akin to herding cats at times. Many thanks.

Fantastic Football Camp. My two boys aged 10 and 5 have just attended the Easter camp for 2 weeks, where they both had a great time. My oldest son has been coming here for years and comes back for every available camp. The coaches (Jordan and Ross) are excellent, I couldn’t praise them highly enough. They really take the time with each child to encourage and develop their skills and are also kind, friendly and patient - especially with the younger children who need more attention/help. The pitches are great too. The medals, footballs and captain armbands are a big hit too !! Thank you ! 😀

My son has just finished a week of football camp here. Absolutely superb from start to finish. The coaches all brilliant. Soo friendly and fun. I cannot recommend football camp and birthday parties etc here enough. Great stuff guys and thank you for your hard work and dedication.

Excellent, helpful & friendly staff make this a fantastic place to enjoy football again. Been a regular 5s player for years and the experience is better than ever. My 10 year old daughter regularly plays football here with her friends and they all love it too. Would highly recommend

I used Powerleague in Portobello for my son's 7th birthday party and I would highly recommend it. The staff was brilliant, really helpful, enthusiastic and great with the kids. The kids really enjoyed the football sessio and there was plenty of space both on the pitch and in the party room for them to play. The staff took care of all the entertainment and the planning, which meant it was pretty stress free for me.

Back playing 5 a-side on the Portobello pitches. All the guys feel very safe with all the Covid Measures put in place by the staff there. Staff are always happy to see you and friendly. Its great to be back playing. 👍

Excellent academy my little boy has loved it! Staff very helpful and friendly they provide great training and value for money. The kids are split by age so the wee ones get a chance to play in matches against kids of an equal skill level. Very positive experience.

Been here with my mates a good number of times. Pitches are 5G astro and are well maintained with decent grip. Would not recommend sliding though. You can hire a ball if nobody remembers to bring one - £10 refundable deposit or something suitably valuable that you won't leave without. Changing and shower facilities are decent. You can get a locker token for 30p if it's raining and you don't want your gear getting soaked. There is a common room available for use upstairs while you wait on folk arriving and no shortage of vending machines for assorted beverages. Price of an hour on varies depending on the time of day. They also run leagues which are pretty competitive.

Pitches are great here, and very reasonable. I've been playing at Portobello Powerleague for a good seven years now - they've invested in the pitches a few times and boast the brand new 5G astro. The only downside, I suppose, is that they're all outdoor so you are at the behest of the inclement Edinburgh weather; however, far preferable to indoor pitches when it's warm!

5g turf well in need of being replaced a hazard on the d of the goals and middle of the park ripped up. Showers cold hot cold hot . Better than last when they were cold from October to January. No plumbers in Portobello

Nice, clean and beautiful place. Good sizeable 3-4 football grounds. Good staff. Food, coffee, etc options available. Good big dining space with personal space and small group people. Usually quite place. Good number of people were there during my visit.
