Emirates Arena is simply beautiful and aesthetic. The building has five floors with elevator to each floor and it is used for world class competitions as it was used for the just concludes Billie Jean king cup by Gainbridge for Tennis world cup. There are different kiosks to buy things from during competitions. There is wheelchair access to the building and all floors, the toilets are also very convenience. The Emirates Arena is a 10 minutes work to Forge retail park which is a big Mall.

Great time spent on my first ever tennis match! Admission was smooth, scanning ticket and bag check, stewards were very friendly and at every point where people could ask for help. Vendors had food drinks, there were vending machines as well, toilets were clean and stocked. Car park nearby was attended by stewards as well, directing drivers. First time in the arena itself, had a good impression and would definitily like to come back for further sports event! Easy to get to by Frist buses nr 2, 61, 240, a quick walk from Celtic Park / stadium.

Attended the recent Davis Cup (tennis) tie between GB & USA. Had a great night, liked the venue very much and enjoyed the tennis. For me, the food facilities were fine as I'd brought my own supplies. Toilets were clean and staff very friendly and helpful. I would advise bringing a cushion as the seats are not the most comfortable, especially after 7 hours of tennis! I have given four stars because of the timing of the event. A 4pm start resulted in a 1am finish. I stayed to the end as I didn't want to miss anything and id been told there would be shuttle buses running as it was a special event. Quire a lot of people who had paid £95 for a ticket left early to catch public transport. On leaving, there were no buses. I, along with many others, had considerable difficulty getting a taxi, and it seemed taxi firms weren't aware the event was on. Could there not be some liaison between the Arena and local transport providers to ensure people can get home safely? As a stranger to the city I felt vulnerable standing alone on London Rd waiting for my taxi to arrive. I know the venue alone isn't responsible for the start and finish times, but surely there could be some liaison between the Arena and local transport firms for such events so that everyone can get home safely?

As a disabled wheelchair user, the staff are brilliant. There are dedicated changing rooms for people with disabilities. I have a gym membership which allows me plus one carer in every time I go. There are arm cycles as well as leg cycles, and all manner of equipment in good condition. The staff are friendly and interested. The cafe hours are a bit short, but the food is good. Facilities are clean and tidy.

I was here for Davis Cup. Organisation great. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was advised to take snacks/picnic and was glad we did as food outlets on that day had limited choice with obvious queues.

We bought the premium seats to watch the tennis. The view was excellent but the seats were very uncomfortable, just the general flip down plastic ones, no padding or arm rests. After sitting for a few hours it was getting quite uncomfortable. I know you are paying the premium price for the view but an extra £10 onto the tickets for an even slightly upgraded seat would definitely have been worth it.

Davis Cup was great. Arena not brilliant- not enough ladies loos, so long, long queues. Huge queues for refreshments. Perhaps a stall with just drinks, and a separate one with food would speed things up. Getting out of the (Celtic) car park at the end of the night was awful. Despite paying £15 to park there were no staff marshaling the traffic out of the car park. Also, the traffic lights in the street outside weren't being managed for the large numbers of cars (as they would on match days). Took us 25 minutes to get out to the street, not great when it's already 1am.

Great arena with great facilities on site. Seriously let down by lack of organisation and communication to customers regarding food and drinks areas, which ones were cash or card only, which was serving what? People queueing fur lengthy periods then having to move meant missing huge amounts of the event. Couldn't fault the staff though. Some clear signage would assist them too. More drinks only areas would be better for those not wanting food.

Attended Davis Cup. parking at CFC London Road. entry to building all the way round the other side. Upon exiting the event, staff refused to let us out the door marked London Road nearest car park meaning my elderly father who has difficulty walking had to walk all the way to the other end of the building, down All the stairs - there are lots, round the building, back up the stairs back to London Road. Quite a long walk with many stairs for an elderly person. Whilst inside, the seating if almost dangerous near the top tier. I saw one elderly gent almost on all fours it’s so steep. This should be highlighted when purchasing tickets. I also struggled with vertigo climbing the steps!! Because of this, I would think twice about attending other events here

I play at the indoor courts.. However chaging rooms are clean and so are toilets... (did not use showers) The indoor courts are good never dusty or slippery... The basketball courts are good.. The boards are good... The place always seems very clean and tidy... The 5 asides courts with synthetic grass courts they look nice and well. Maintained and always busy... The Indoor athletics track seems very good abd the right material to run on.. The gym not sure but from outside seems quite good and clean. The spa is very high grade.. Not seen the velodrome but apprantly is awesome... The staff is friendly and curtious and helpful.. So all in all is agood experience

Loaded stuff on truck that had been used for Billy Jean King tennis event, cafe was closed so I walked to nearby cafe. Good result as booked to load at 3pm and they started me at 11am. Celtic football club next door

First class looking building, obviously no expense spared and definitely brings the overall class of the area up a notch.. That is not an easy job taking into consideration the giant eyesore that sits just across the other side of the London road.

First time at the Emirates to see the Tennis with my wife good seating and facilities, the only thing I would say at the end it was very dark and had to go out other doors so we were lost and had to ask other people where we were and found another couple in the same dilemma as ourselves and a couple of guys at a pub gave us a taxi number as there was no buses back into City center we had to get in for the last Train home , it would have been better to have the play earlier in the day for people that don't have cars + more food outlets as the Q's were to long .

The velodrome is a great place to go I have been here on a number of occasions with the kids the first time I was there was with my youngest son were the taught him how to balance on a bike which was a great help as he just got on and paralleled away on his bike then we went and watched a competition which was great u feel part of the event a expecially when ur in the middle of the the arena which just make it all feel so real

It's a world class facility, and Glasgow's lucky to have it. I do wonder why more people don't go - It's really pretty cheap, like £12 a session which includes equipment hire. There's regularly scheduled introduction sessions, everyone should try this at least once!

Best cycling venue in Scotland full stop. After we said goodbye to Meadowbank velodrome in Edinburgh, this venue is the only option for track cycling. And it is very nice indeed - convinient location, plenty of parking, bike can be hired along with shoes and helmet. Staff are really professional and polite. Great place for amateurs and pros alike.

The venue is great. Location is good and parking was easy to find, within a few minutes walk for free. We were there for the European Championships 2018 and had a brilliant time. DSLR cameras were allowed, not every venue allow this so I thought I should mention. A few small negatives - it was quite warm in the Velodrome, but it's been and unusually warm summer so I won't pin that on the venue. I found the food options a little limited, hot dogs, nachos, crisps and choc bars along side soft and alcoholic drinks. There may have been more on offer but a lack of menu didn't help. Finally the seating, while fine, was a little uncomfortable for a 3 hour event - the trip for snack was needed to stretch as much as to get a drink for the heat. Overall a good venue and I'd definitely go again.

Firstly it is fantastic to have several indoor velodrome across the country bringing World class competition to our shores and also giving local cyclists a chance to try out this rather exotic version of bike racing. It isn't a huge spectator sport so getting this track built is a bonus and it is in a great sporting location within the national indoor sports centre at Emirates Arena and next to Celtic Park. It's a high profile venue just like the tracks in London and Manchester. Remember if you come to watch, it's warm. 28 degrees trackside and feels warmer higher up in the seating when it's full. So wear t shirts and clothes you can remove easily. Although the competitors are in the centre of the track and access the venue at the lower level, this is a sport where you can get close to the competitors and sitting trackside or standing over the banking, you can feel the wind from the passing cyclists. Don't lean over the rail or they will take you with them they come that close sometimes! The only real negative is the offer to spectators. Prices have gone up massively with all this Olympic success on the track but the events are still the same. Year's ago it was literally a few quid for an evening session and I don't think I had to pay to watch qualifying on a Sunday morning. Now it's £20 to £25 for every session in the cheap seats. With that in mind, the very limited refreshments on offer is atrocious. Every day during the World Cup, the food ran out or was limited to very unhealthy options. When the bar (looked like a table) was open it had 4 choices of lager on the sign and wine. Who manages these franchises or are they in house? Either way it's a dismal offer.

Equipment is pretty advanced re the resistance / controlled machines. Cardio equipment is great too. The gym is however idiot proofed......which is testiment to the equipment. It's ok for an occasional visit as it's small and generally overcrowded after 5.30pm. Great for people watching and opportunities to meet all sorts of friendly randoms which is all part of the experience.

I race here often and have to say it is an amazing track (although the air seems to have an effect of you breathing). This review is only 3 stars however as a direct result of the security staff. They are stationed at every set of stairs, even ones that you can go down and ones that you should be able to get down. They are rude and treat you as if you are disrupting the peace.

This is notably one of the top sporting venues in the UK. Easy to get to via Dalmarnock Station which is three stops from Glasgow Central. On the Athletics side the seating leg room is good and lighting excellent. There is food & drink kiosks but not much seating in the foyer to enjoy it before the games begin. But I don't know if this is normally the case.

Brilliant session at European Track Cycling Championship this afternoon. Extremely helpful staff and excellent venue. However it seems ridiculous that the huge car park at the venue is closed to the public for the duration of these championships. Not being from Glasgow and having to work this morning meant we had no other option but to travel by car as public transport wouldn't have got us there in time. The car park is for authorised vehicles only but it seemed to us that half of it was lying empty while we had to park in a side street. Not good enough Glasgow.
