What an unexpected surprise! No need to be interested in fishing 🎣 if your not inclined. Lovely spot for breakfast/lunch! Great scenery. Dog friendly spot!

Went up for the curry night having not been to the fishery for years. I also took my son who hasn't fly fished or been out in the boats before and he had a great time, even in the rotten weather. I would higjly recommend and we will definitely be back

A friend of mine who lives local recommended walking round 'The Neilston Pad' and then to go to the Harelaw Fishery for a coffee....and I did just that. Great wee place. I Sat outside with a coffee and a cake. Nice view across the reservoir. Decent sized car park across the road. Plenty places to sit outside or inside. Will definitely go back.

Nice place for a coffee and a cake after going a walk around the tor. Watching the fishermen on their boats surrounded by cracking scenery. Range of snacks and food on offer with friendly pleasant staff.

Great place to fish, have something to eat, or both! Fished recently, came off the water for lunch - amazing steak and chips looking out over the water sat beside the log burner - then back out for some top quality fishing - friendly staff always happy to help and advise!

If asked a year ago if you could improve harelaw, I would have said no! The new improved facilities are fantastic with food, hot and cold drinks toilets a new harbour have made it even better to enjoy a great days fishing in peat scenery!

Great loch with lots of interesting wee bays and corners. Was a fairly flat bright sunny day when we went but I imagine in perfect conditions the top of the water sport could be epic. The fish we hooked we top quality.

It's a test of your skills and energy, should you decide to walk round it in search of the fish. Don't fish it just once, get to know it, where the fish are and believe me you will enjoy connecting to quality hard fighting bows and brownies. A well run fishery, Ask Ross any questions and he will help you in catching.
