Booked try curling for my husband, son, friends and family. Jim Morrison was our coach for the 2 hour session.
Great instruction...we all were amazed at the progress we made having never tried curling before!
Start with basic do's and don'ts, then warm up and it was then next on to the ice.
No expensive outlay as stones, sliders etc all provided. All you will need is warm , loose clothing, gloves if preferred and clean soled trainers.
We had a great night and no doubt will be back in the future as its given us all a taste for it. We loved it.
Thanks Jim Morrison!
Give it a try...you'll amaze yourself! Fantastic!

Attended family skating season and all was pretty good. It had staff on the ice to assist and keep all well. The staff fairly friendly.
There are lockers, toilets and 4 vending machines (drinks and snacks).
There are 5 curling Lanes.
Skate hire and session quite pricey. Also had to wait 8 mins to get shoes back as they was not enough staff. There was no queue the shoe guy jumped off to clean the ice for the next session.

Cute little rink; too bad it's the closest to me as Braehead is currently closed. I rent out the skates there which are ice hockey boots but with the serated edge, which is great as they provide much needed stability. Booking online was a breeze, non-issue there. I also like that the area off-rink is rubberized and extremely easy to walk on (same as the bathrooms).
I would say there are two cons (IMO) to the place: 1) as some have already mentioned, they need to open earlier because the sessions are short, and by the time you get on the ice you have already lost time that you have paid for. 2) I wish the sessions were a bit longer, especially considering that they only open Thu-Sun. Other than that, no complaints 😁.

It's an excellent facility here in EK. Great ice, good size, Costa allows you to watch the skaters if you are not one.

Brilliant ice rink, my son used ice skates here for the 1st time today, the guy working on the rink was excellent and very helpfull, always making sure we were ok. Music being played was good also. Even the guy giving us the ice skates was cheerful and helpful. Will defo be back again soon 😎👍

Only open set days and limited times so check ahead. Looking a tad sad now but ran by the council so better to be open than shut I suppose. Need to take change for the lockers and vendies

Great fun. Efficient and helpful staff. Would prefer if it was a quid cheaper.

I just like watching the machines put the water down late in the evening relaxing to watch..
