T. G.Kingsholm; the home of The Cherry & Whites, Gloucester Rugby.
The main Malvern Tyres stand is a modern all seater covered stand with several bar areas, toilets and snack bars below. The seating areas are clearly marked so are easy to find. The ground is close to the city centre so it's easy to find and to get to, whether it's by bus, coach, train or car.
There was live music on Saturday which added to the atmosphere.
The ground isn't cramped, yet it's close to the pitch and playing area. And the shed, immediately opposite the main stand is probably one of the oldest stands in the top flight of rugby, and is renowned for it's atmosphere. As part of a recent sponsorship deal it's been renamed the Compeed stand but locally it will be forever known as The Shed.
The stadium has a capacity of just over 16,000. The main stand, opened in 2007, is an all seated 7,500 capacity stand along the south touchline. With the players entrance in the left hand corner.
The pitch for the 2021/2022 is now artificial. Looks good 👍.

D. M.I love this place. I'm biased, due to being a Gloucester fan, but the staff are friendly, stewards attentive and prices in the ground are reasonable, especially during happy hour.
Facilities are what you expect from a rugby ground, although the PA sound system could do with being updated as it isnt the clearest system on the planet.

Charity events here are second to none. We have held conferences for Gloucester city council and NHS doctors together with group lunches and training and always immaculate plus the organisation is superb.
T. J. B.My favourite place to be in the world. There's no place like 'holm! It is easy for me to sit here giving a biased opinion of this place, but there genuinely isn't a rugby atmosphere like the shed anywhere in the world (or at least I haven't ever experienced it!) Prices at Kingsholm for refreshments are pretty much on par with the rest of the league's grounds. I would thoroughly recommend a post-game pint or two in the Lions' Den - the former gymnasium for the club (over 100 years old) and now a bar drenched in history and atmosphere!

C.I dislike having to watch advertising displayed on the train big screen throughout the game it makes it hard to see who's just scored. and what the ref missed the park and is okay getting to castle grim getting back to park and ride is a SHAMBLES as coaches park all along the bus stop there's no system or other places to pickup on match days parking is limited even for disabled the people who we met are lovely and the city is a very interesting

D. H.Kingsholm isn't the largest rugby stadium in the world but there is something special about the atmosphere here, you are always close to the action and feel closer to the game because of it. It is one of the highlights of the historic city of Gloucester and I highly recommend a visit if you have the opportunity.
The stadium staff are always on hand and are very helpful and there are plenty of facilities on site.

S. H.Went to a concert which was great apart from the weather. I am disabled & a wheelchair user. My only issue is, as a lot of disabled people feel the cold & wet very badly it would be great if there was a way a cover of some description could be fitted over the platform. I did manage to stay until the end but did suffer badly afterwards. A few others just found it impossible to stay which was a shame for them.

It does get absolutely packed for the big games so arrive early and get a good spot.
The noise reverberates off the roof increasing the volume of the Glawster calls and goes completely insane when the home side scores a try.

D. B.Call me biased but this is always a hit for me 🙋🏼♀️ Gloucester Rugby fan here. You want drink, you want fat food, you want an atmosphere like never before, well this is the place to be. Unaware of any baby changing however so if you're taking a little one, I'd just enquire first. Last that I was aware, 3 years and under were free of charge and counts as "baby in arms" or "baby on lap". Obviously it's at your discretion if you're taking little ones but you won't be able to take a pram/buggy. You'd either have to carry little on in a carrier or on shoulders or they'd have to be walking.

C. F.City centre location makes it easy to get to. We were in the legends lounge where you got an average chicken dinner and apple pie and custard to finish. The pre match player Q and A was the highlight of the pre match. Friendly staff too.

J. H.Kingsholm Stadium, affectionately called Castle Grim by the locals, is one of the worlds greatest places to watch rugby. The intimate stadium holds over 16,000 people and on match days very rarely goes lower than 13,000.
The Shed is the part of Kingsolm that Gloucester is most renowned for, it is a steel echo chamber of the most passionate Gloucester fans that is very close to the pitch, the fans are never too far away from the might 'Glawwwsterrr' chant, they let the ref know if he is or is not making the right decisions and oft found to be shouting witty quips at the players. If you go and can stand for 80 minutes The Shed is well worth the trip and the cheapest tickets too.
The stadium itself has a few bars based all around the stadium as are places you can buy food, it hosts wide screens should you want to see action more close up from where you are standing and all in all it is a great day out.
If you want to see Gloucester at its finest and an entertaining brand of rugby, or want to get into the sport go to Kingsholm at least once.
Also as an FYI if you're getting into the sport and don't understand what is happening, please don't hesitate to ask someone in the crowd, we're a friendly bunch and will help you out!

G. T.A proper rugby stadium. Modernised in various ways. Maybe a little too commercialised for those of us old enough to remember the 'good old days'. Poor quality food choices for those wishing to avoid fast foods. Drinks are expensive unless present for the 'happy hours' prior to kick off. Frustrating deposit scheme for drinks. And don't get be started on the current interpretation of the rugby laws!
