R. E.Had the most amazing time back at Portman Road for my first home game in 20 years against against Plymouth this past Saturday, also bringing my wife and kids to their first ever Ipswich Town game and what a performance by the players, exceptional 👏
L. P.First visit for a long time. Great atmosphere, well organised, tickets were very reasonable and the seats in the lower stand were good. The chicken pie at half time was awesome too.
d. d.Tidy ground, easy to get away from by car, expected more from the home fans, 22k today town played really well and was like a snooker match for noise.
S.Good stadium, not the best but not the worst. A good stadium that nearly pack's out everytime. Would be 5 star if toilets were a bit better and food was too. But overall decent.
If you are in VIP box it is even better you are treated like royalty.

P. L.My son attended an Ipswich Town skills session and was awarded with some complimentary tickets to attend the opening game of the season against Bolton Wanderers.
As I've not attended many times before navigating the stadium is somewhat tricky, but eventually found where we needed to be with help from the stewards.
Great experience we had today the atmosphere was electric and very thankful for the oppourtunity.

P. O.Not been for 30 years. Went with my Ipswich Town supporting son-in -law. Although we had a seat , the whole stand behind the goal stands up for 90 mins. Such passion from the fans got them a 1-0 win. Enjoyable experience.
P. W.AFC Wimbledon visited on Saturday (28 August) and the match ended in a 2-2 draw in front of a 19,000 crowd. As a supporter, there are Covid protocols to be negotiated namely requiring a recent negative test or two jabs. Stewards were friendly.

I am a Boltonian & have lived in Ipswich for 14 years. It was great to be there to see my club win 5-2 to end a long-standing jinx and the Ipswich fans have been magnanimous in defeat.
Once their many new players have had time to gel, I am sure that Ipswich will begin to climb up the league table.

My only gripe is the seating, at 6' 3" I struggled to sit comfortably which out hitting the person in front in the back.

A. O.I am an Ipswich fan so it's easy to be biased but I like the stadium. However the toilets are horrible and the queues for food/drink are too long. Always loud fans.

not as a bad stadium as made , needs a lot of DIY and alot of dreams to keep alive

J. H.Decent stadium very traditional. Visited as an MK Dons fan. They opened more than enough seating. Facilities were old but were fit for purpose. Proper football experience. Stewards friendly and good food options outside ground.

A. S.A great place to be when we're winning,less so when we're not. Catering facilities shamed by burger vans at half the price and better quality. More American style catering and quality please.
S. K.The bar needs addressing, or rather what's on offer. Hopefully there is going to be more variety as the season progresses. I used to be able to have Guinness whereas this is now not available but the biggest issue I have is IPA and Lager sold in cans at £4.50 3ach. Not only ate these expensive but it means beer being offered with a massive head due to them being pure quickly. Needs looking at as part of the match day experience.

R. S.Great atmosphere when the team are playing well. For a few months has been dire but now on the up. Bars as ever here inadequately manned and never enough pies available, you'll more than likely go hungry if you try to get one at half time.

A. C.I'm a bias Ipswich supporter, but the atmosphere is great atm, the quality of football is getting better. The pies are good and the beer is cold. The fanzone has been a great place to go, especially if you have kids, pre match.

L. H.Went here to a Rod Stewart gig and would highly recommend. The event was extremely well organised and staff were all friendly, efficient and helpful. The venue was clean and comfortable and easy to navigate.
I. G.Gr8 stadium team could be better. Stadium has some of the greatest football history in England as sir Alf Ramsey and sir Bobby Robson have managed, but the stadium has seen better days as one of the badges have come off

W. B.Rod Stewart"s concert held here. The food was expensive, didn't use bar so not sure about prices. No cover so got very wet and cold. Not very good when leaving the concert, the crowds were herded the wrong way which could have resulted in an accident. Staff had no control and didn't seem to worry.

Started badly we conceded early but we were better team in second half and equalised and with a little more quality could of got second goal but ended up hanging on for draw in end 1-1 Fair result but we needed 3 points. Portman pie at half time still highlight league 1 football next year lowest tier we been in my lifetime. Premier stadium not a premier team...

I. F.ITFC fail to maximise on potential sales by not making use of the credit and debit cards facility to make purchases on match days within the ground. Cash only sales mean many people are unable to buy food and drink. The Wi-Fi inside the ground is non-existent. And there is no large screen inside the ground.
