D. F. H.I have played Bowls for 5 years and without any hesitation I can say "Today I had the enormous pleasure of bowling on the best Outdoor Green I have played on to date "Saturday September the 3rd 2022
I am fortunate enough to bowl at Leicester indoor bowls club at slater Street during the winter with it 5 mins from home
Three are now in my book 15 rinks worthy of the the " Best " the 5 played on today with one rink left out to make six and the 9 at slater Street
I have played at Kingscroft 4 years ago and then it was the worst I have played resembling a field of mud with the odd bit of grass
Not any more

Long may we have a fixture with you, now did I tell you about that County Game I played there, young Robert was holding his breath on the last end as we went in tied and I decided to play a tricky back hand shot with a yard....... zzzzzzzz
