D. D. P.Love it!! A great picturesque ground tucked away in inner city Leicester.
Always voted best playing surface each season (Probably because the away teams usually win there!!)
It is the second or third biggest playing area in the world.
There are enty of service points for drink and food and improvements are being made to the facilities each season.
Get along for a visit you won't regret it.
Grace Road....Always a great day / night out.
I. S.A quiet day out in the sun. Plenty of parking at ground (3rd day of 4 day game). Not possible to get a cup of tea at "Teas and Ice Creams". Settled for a small, expensive coffee instead.
E. T.Grace Road is always a good place on a warm sunny day. If I could suggest one improvement it would be to install proper cycle bars. At present people have to lock their bikes onto drainpipes, girders or anything they can find. Here is my bike on the back row.
L. J.Fab staff and atmosphere. Definitely going to be a regular. Have tried the food outlets and the spice bazaar indian was definitely the best although the portion was small and only 3 to 4 pieces of meat. The fish and chip stand was charging 10 pounds for small portion so gave that a miss. Bar staff friendly and prices what you expect to pay at these venues. All in all a fab evening. Have been to 3 so far and all consistent.
P. V.If you like watching cricket and want a friendly family vibe this is a great (small) ground. Yep - you'll see Leicestershire lose more than they win, but it's still lovely.
S. S.Good to attend a match game every once in a while. Entrances aren't located in the most obvious places for new attendees, but easy to navigate around the stand
N. L.A beautiful sunny day to watch some county cricket. Easy access, friendly stewards and bar staff. A grand day out.
D. E.Yesterday we had our Rotary Tea Party the food was amazing and the service 1st class. I would definitely recommend the cricket club for events from networking to other commercial or social events where small or large.
