Very clean and tidy facility, friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of drinks and snacks in pleasant cafe area. Superbly tasty chocolate brownies, however very overpriced at £2.50 per small portion, otherwise excellent

I went there to do a bit of air rifle target shooting. It seems to be well cared for. Parking is free and plentiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Probably the best in the area.

Just started at the gym, staff have been very helpful in setting up membership and got discount because I have a blue light card. Early morning swims are brilliant. I've yet to go into the gym but from what I have seen it's very clean and has modern well maintained equipment

We had our Daughter's 6th Birthday Party at the Jungle Gym today which was brilliant! The room was very clean with lots of equipment for the children. All the staff were friendly and professional. Many Parents commented on the party and were considering having theirs at the Jungle Gym in the future.

Today the care company I work for booked some of the people we support in for a swim. One of our party had some seizure activity on our arrival in reception straight away staff offered assistance. When we got into the pool a lifeguard approached and introduced himself and explained that he was an extra for us incase we needed help whilst we were all in the pool. This is a massive Thank you from us it was greatly appreciated.

I did a body pump class and instructor was friendly, encouraging and supportive. I was a bit anxious as I've not done one in a while, but I had nothing to worry about. I asked questions at the end about my form and was given good advice.

Not always great at answering the phone but the staff inside the centre are great. My daughter recently went for swimming lessons (their intensive course) and now wants to go regularly. The swim teacher was fantastic and helped her confidence no end. I have used the gym regularly and the staff in there keep the machines clean and are really great at giving advice on routines and how to use the machines.

Location is great, parking is great but the pool and changing rooms really need a good clean. The scum line around the pool sides is rank. We still go because the kids love it but wish they'd clean it more. Bigger family lockers and improved family change would be great like at NK

A great place to go for a swim. Really friendly staff. Ample free parking. Open early through until late. Has both a teaching and a normal sized pool. Plenty of lockers - 1 pound to use them. Nice cafe on site. Good gym facilities too.

Only went to the children's soft play area, so not seen the gym area or cafe. The soft play area has a member of staff on hand to play. Call at reception first to register and pay your £2.50 per session. The toilets need a bit of attention, a good scrub down, but not too bad. The sessions only run for 1 hour, call reception for more details. Good overall, even if a little noisy.

They have a really good swimming pool here, good for 5 ft people. But when I was considering joining the gym, I was impressed with the fact they give you free personal training but I felt they were quite forceful in trying to convince me to join. I said I would phone them but they rang me every 2 days for 3 weeks trying to get me to and making up temporary deals that were conveniently on every week.

To my little one swimming for the first time and she loved the little pool! Changing rooms are small and not easy to use with a baby, as ever boiling hot after swimming too. Overall a good place to take the family. Slightly marred by a group of young loutish boys being shouts we were leaving. Doesn't put me off going again as staff handled the situation well

The online booking system and covid measures like the one-way system and baskets ensure everyone can swim safely and that it is never overbooked. Friendly and considerate staff. Would like to see longer sessions available at some point, as it's sometimes difficult fitting a good long swim in under an hour.

Surprised at the amount of negative reviews as I've always felt comfortable when visiting gym and swimming pool. Never seen it unclean and never had a problem with staff. Overall am nicely contented with the facilities.

I only use for weekend swimming. Superficially good, however swimming experience spoiled by lifeguards failing to control horseplay. Too many children not swimming but obstructing access to the pool ends or just splashing about or even fighting. Very small children reliant on floats in main pool when they should be using the small pool. Even adults not behaving appropriately, my wife says one tried to remove her swimsuit. Not spotted by lifeguards who seem pretty superfluous. Sauna good but no means of generating steam for extra heat, steam room currently not working properly for several weeks.

Disappointed twice last week. Monday: Took my 3yr old for the small pool. Told it was closed - no pool attendants! Wednesday: Took my 9 year old to swim after school. Paid and got changed only to find the pool locked up! Got my money back but the reception had not been told it had been closed, even though there were two attendants stood at the desk.

Good array of modern gym equipment. Large swimming pool and ample changing facilities. Prices for subscription are a little above some other facilities, but for what you get are reasonable.

Came here for a guest pass visit a number of times and found service to be good. I only tried the gym facilities and not have not accessed the classes nor the swimming pool. There is a sufficient range of equipment to make use of in the gym floor but it’s extremely dated and from Precor, which is one of the cheapest gym equipment manufacturers around. The bench press seating was a bit too narrow compared to the one from Technogym. You can feel that the cable stations do not have the smoothness in the pull as they first would have had. It would be good to have a revamp of the gym equipment to utilise Technogym throughout to provide a better offering and smoothness in motion. But other than that, happy with the facilities and the fact you can buy protein shakes at the cafe.

I went here for physio not ideal as staff from other departments would randomly be in the wrong place at the wrong time and make you feel like you where in the way. Also had some sessions in the gym with the NHS a few years back and the personal trainer only ever turned up for half the allocated time notimoressed with the staff here but the facilities are ok

It's a good facility, modern gym , plenty of classes, the only thing that let's it down is the pool area , which is in a bad state with cracked walls , paint and plaster peeling off , and the wet changing room is awful , it is freezing cold and not very clean , if us as users disposed of our rubbish and used nappies in the bins provided, it wouldn't be so bad 😐😐
