Wonderful rugby, absolutely the best one in Merseyside! The staff are all welcoming and friendly. The fireworks night is out of this world too. Would highly recommend.

Lovely setting and very nice bar interior. However the choice of ales and beers is tremendously poor and although very nice staff the service is excruciatingly slow and that was on a slow day. Would have loved to of had a few more drinks but with a wait of over twenty minutes to get served we moved on.

Spent a great afternoon watching an enthralling top of the table clash between two very competitive teams. I thoroughly recommend a visit to experience superb hospitality and family-friendly atmosphere.

Went to the club only ( no matches) as an wake. The club is fantastic, as are the ground, very traditional and "old school". Can't fault it. Going to go and try it on a regular night and perhaps go and catch a match as well.

Good spacious venue for small to medium size private functions and celebrations such as marriages and birthdays. A private bar is available along with catering if requested. The food is excellent and served professionally and the venue clean and bright. Facilities are also available for video conferencing, music and entertainment, disco and dancing. Adjacent to the private function room is a good sized public bar area. The walls of the public bar are adorned with history and memorabilia associated with the rugby club. The club house itself faces the rugby playing grounds that contain spectator stands both open and covered and a small carpark.

After a first team game, the bar is a great place to celebrate or drown your sorrows. Live music, decent beer, and lots of laughter from the locals make this a very friendly social place to meet and have a laugh.

Came here for a funeral. It was a nice place, but it was under staffed.. don't think they quite expected the amount of people that turned up. 1 bar open, 2 staff members, 600 guests. Could safely say, I was parched for the better part of an hour. Staff were friendly though, and booze not over priced.

Attended a Christening here.Clean but needs modernising. Bar staff need more people skills. Good job it was a nice day then all the doors could be opened but if it had been raining the room would have been far too hot and claustrophobic.
