Visited the centre for vaccinations, so cannot discuss it use for leisure. The centre is large and spacious. The place was clean and the staff were pleasant . The basketball hoops were standard size and in good condition. The centre near the town hall and located in the busy town centre. The facilities look decent and it is worth checking for its leisure elements.

It's big and lots of facilities., but its difficult to use them frequently. Specially the Swimming pool are always shut for countless reason.. Even after 8pm.. Why dont they let the pool free after 8pm, so at least working class gym goer can use it. Bathrooms are stinks all the time,. Should use something to make it bearable.. In the Fitness suits, most of the the assistant are busy chatting up ladies gym users, no time for man.. Typical.. No Complain on that .. LOL Over all, its a 3 start.. It's understandable, they may also have cutback and we all know Newham council is not here to help people but take money out of our pocket.. Hope to see them improve the services, also if can reduce the cost of monthly charge, at least that much the people of this council deserve. I'll try to add some videos too..

Kids have been going for swimming for a couple of years and Alexandra has been amazing, friendly and got them to become confident swimmers. She had been the primary reason they have enjoyed swimming and become good. Great place

No parking for any one even if you book your registry wedding here... Parking is big issue in Newham.... Only 2 hours parking behind road but very carefull parking warden keep watching...be safe

I like this leisure centre where I do swimming every week. Very good pools because these are huge and fun. The staff and lifeguards are kind too.

I've used the gym and swimming pool there. Decent set of Free weights, machines and treadmills. Swimming pool has a water slide which is very cool. A family pool which is shallow and for the swimmer's the lanes of deep ends.

Open again with social distance in place, sanitising stations for you to feel safe. Currently quite empty, 10 min slots to book before you go in, so stops the place getting overcrowded.

A good place for badminton. The water in the pool should be totally replaced rather than just cleaned, and the pool itself should be scrubbed and cleaned. The gym downstairs should be made larger. This is a very large complex where one can swim good is sauna, and doing on bottle fitness activities for groups. The reception area is quite small as one enters the building, and to the right when we see vending machines and also space to do some work if it's necessary. Straight ahead is swimming pool, and upstairs is where they have the fitness classes.

Usually go there to play badminton, have to book online, and it's hard to find empty slots after 1700. Always gets booked as soon as slots opens. Also but can't take more than 4 people to play. Staffs are not friendly and moody.

Nice pool, but staff seem a bit ditsy. One member staff sent me in the wrong direction to the changing rooms. I asked what the tariff was for the lockers and he said 20p. Didn't point out that you needed to buy a token first!

Fun swims are good, but the warmer and shallower pools are closed 20 minutes before the end of the session. Even the lifeguards can't explain that policy. Changing facilities (especially the family ones) are usually out of order, closed for refurbishments that haven't happened in over a year. And in the other changing rooms, there aren't enough working showers. The facility is mostly cashless, which means staff can't process refunds (and offsite managers don't feel any need to deal with them) and vending machines are often unable to contact the billing system.

Me and my sister come to the gym and swimming frequently and we have nothing bad to say about the centre or staff. My sister leaves her child in the crèche weekdays where there are 3 ladies who are all very nice chatty and bubbly always happy to help . We have been using the centre for years and have never had any major problems. We had a misunderstanding with booking the soft play and all 3 ladies where all very keen to help and solved the problem. I would highly recommend anyone who has children and want to go to the gym to try the creche as my sisters children never want to leave because they have so much fun there. We also like that there is diversity in the creche as there is a white lady, a black lady and an Asian lady who work there. We would like to thank them deeply. (Sorry I can’t remember names) There is also a young man who is always on the front desk who is also very nice, I didn’t catch his name but he is always willing to help. The manager (an older lady with black hair) is very helpful and would like to big them all up for there kindness unlike the staff at other centres. Highly recommended place to go also membership prices are worth your money.

Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of activities to keep everyone fit and healthy. Warm swimming pool area with viewing area on one side. Creche and soft play area for the kids available. Some free parking available. 1hr and 2 HR free parking bays on side streets.

I can't explain the scence she created and accuse me of force my way in and being really ignorant and using other customers to justify her actions. Parking is free but limited to around 15 cars. Waiting in the reception to login takes more time and staffs in the reception are very careless in accessing the automatic gates. Self check in kiosk available but sometimes will not work. Badminton court and swimming pools are one of the best in East London. Some showers need replacement in pool wet change.

This is a very large complex where one can swim good is sauna, and doing on bottle fitness activities for groups. A really good Local gym in the heart of Eastham & nestled off the main road. Has a great open plan swimming pool area with slides & child pool, Good size gym with lots of cardio machines & weights equipment Badminton courts & a wonderful relaxing & modern sauna/steam room for when you need that extra rewind & reward. It's Great to come here twice a week, for a good two hour session each time.

For years the air conditioning in the studio has not been functioning. It's worse now in June 2018 with this current heat wave. The management seem so complacent about it. It's stifling. The women's only gym however is good, despite it being small.

Very nice place. Staff is friendly. Gym is packed with cardio equipment, weights etc....From 7pm on wednesday its female only sessions, also on saturday and sunday are fun times and pool is getting packed with kids. Water in swimming pool is warm. Only bad point i found is that there was toilet paper missing :) Except of that really nice place.

I went to this Leisure centre mainly because it is in my area but stayed for the friendly, competent staff and the well maintained facility filled with modern equipment. To be honest I don't really do weights since my training consists only of cardio excersises. I especially like Women Only day because I can fully relax and enjoy my routine. The only downside is that it tends to get overcrowded at peak times so I would suggest going early morning or late at night. Other than that it's a pretty awesome gym.

I only joined the east ham leisure centre only because it is just down the road for me plus I get a discount as I work the borough. The staff are ok but really need to cheer up a bit. The gym is up dated for the cycling n others, the free weights need to be open up a lot more as it get really packed other weight machine are really out of date, for me they need to be up dated like easy gym in ilford for example

I have swimming every sunday and the sports facilities are very good but the changing rooms look like they are never cleaned and are very dirty. I almost slipped because of the wet floor in the changing room.

I absolutely love this centre. it has a women only gym and for hijabis like me have the freedom to workout in which ever clothes and which ever way we like. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommended

Not very competitive may be because they are the only service provider in this area. I remember one early morning there was only 4 people ahead of me at the reception and and even after 30 minutes I was at the same place. Other counters were ideally seating down while we were not served. Eventually we all got fed up and management was called and he even was not very active to resolve the issue. Kids progress are supposed to be marked online so that parents can view their progress unfortunately even after two month didn't see any status change.

Recently took up membership. Despite them advertising; *No joining fee offer must be activated before 15th January 2018* I was charged a surplus of £25.00. I will be following that up with a complaint to the Ombudsman if necessary. I love the new healthsuite facility and the operating times. I can go for a sauna before I go to work, I LOVE IT! Who says there's nothing in this; WORK TO LIVE marlaky ???????? It's NO marlaky ..... I'm living it!!!!!!!

Nice modern building with a large swimming pool but it was badly overcrowded and busy. I have waited in a huge queue with about 50 people in front of me in a normal working week day, and I have left the place as the queue was not moving. Located in East Ham centre near busy High Street, about 10 minutes walk from East Ham tube station
