Very nice park and very close to where I live . But there is absolutely no lighting for when it's dark on none on the alleys inside the park. I usually go work out in the evenings when it's quieter and less people around . And it's the perfect place to sunbathe in the summer 🤗

A beautiful green space with a dedicated play area for children. Large lawn areas, tennis and basketball courts and a forest planted some 11 or 12 years ago. Trees line the footpaths where a number of benches can be found. The park and is dog friendly. The park also has a memorial garden which does need some attention. The roses are still beautiful but the pond and benches need restoring. The park has an excellent tearoom with seating inside and outside . It is a popular park and can get crowded.

A good distance if you were looking to walk the whole park. Has a children's play area. A lot of activities in the play area for kids. A little limited for older children. Depending on days and times you go, can get a little busy. There are exercise machines available. There a few tennis courts too and one basketball court. Limited parking spaces available in the car park. However, car park is not free, I believe. A good park if you wish to go for a walk and get some exercise in or take your kids too.

Beautiful local park with cafe and 6 tennis courts. Tennis courts are easy to book but a bit pricy tho. There is also a big playground for children and fitness facilities for adults. A very safe local park even in the evenings.

I visited Hendon Park in my lunchtime. The Kosher cafe was serving hot drinks and snacks and although I couldn't sit in the cafe because of Covid restrictions I did sit in the park and have my lunch. I sat in the Memorial Garden which was very peaceful. I will definitely return.

Apart from the litter left by not nice people in the summer months, like bar-b-ques and the cans and food ware from them, this is a friendly place to bring the kids. The park wardens have a huge job to clear up after them. Why cant people be more responsible and clear up after themselves. The toy section of the park has had money spent on it by the council and is now very enjoyable. Great place to bring the kids and the large open space is fantastic for football and other games. Tennis courts can be hired. There is a cafe for snacks and coffees. Basically a good place for families, exercising and an afternoon stroll

This park has everything you need for your sporting needs: tennis, basketball, football... even a selection of outside gym machines. We went quite late in the evening and it could do with more lighting, but it is very clean and safe.

A nice suburban park with swings for the kiddies and a really nice cafe serving all sorts of food. They don't take credit cards but there is plenty of outdoor seating. There are also tennis courts. The only problem with the park is that it is also the home for vagrants particularly in the path along the railway line which can get full of rubbish and other undesirable materials . it's not considered to be a good place to be on your own after dark

Got it all - even trains. And the house I was brought up in backs onto the park. Spent many an hour with my mate watching the trains as they crept like a snake from Brent (Cross) station on their way to Hendon Central. The view from the bridge was much less obstructed by bricks and wiring. The small flower gardens close to the cafe is a great place to spend your lunch break. We spent it as kids fishing for little prickly sticklebacks in the pond. It's dedicated to the memory of the 6 millions Jews who were killed in the Holocaust. Many great memories from this park!

I've jogged the perimeter of the park and it was about 1.5km. The paths are even on most parts except by the playground. One bench was completely obliterated and should be replaced. There is a cute little café by the basketball and tennis courts.

I lived in Hendon 30 years ago and went back for a visit. The park had some positive changes such as a place to buy food and drink and also seemed to have more stuff for children. It is obviously popular and was busy. I lived in a tower block and would go to the park on sunny days. As with the area where I used to live (Brent Street), the park seemed scruffy and dirty too. There were bottles and other rubbish around the benches. People were friendly though.

Nondescript but pleasant enough park with a variety of trees and a spread of the normal amenities. Unfortunately the memorial garden is forgettable. But...... a magnificent Japanese maple tree listed amongst the 20 great trees of London makes a dedicated trip worthwhile.

A quite large park near to Hendon Central tube station (Northern Line "Edgware Branch"). Nice and well used childrens play area with fenced perimitter. Tennis courts and basketball hoops. Cafe. Gardens, large grass areas with trees. Outdoor excercise area with various workout machines. Popular with the locals and dog walkers. Tube runs along one side of the park. A pleasant and quiet park in a nice area with lots of space.

I grew up next to this park, and despite the play area being waaaay inside (lazy much haha), it was cool. Nice shortcut to Brent X too. However, some dodgy stuff has gone down in more recent years (I still live thinking 1999 was a few years ago) so be careful at night as the area is not the best lit one around. Sometimes there's a fair there (I think)
