Reviews of Lord's Cricket Ground
C. M.
It was a dream come true to be able to watch a game at the Home of Cricket. The stadium is pure class! Great blend of history and the present. The hospitality was something else and the seats were very comfortable. Went to go watch the 2019 Cricket World Cup game between Pakistan and South Africa. I was in total awe of the stadium throughout my time there and I still am. A must visit for a Cricket fan. The experience was incredible. Ah, what I wouldn't do watch a game here again!

First time coming to Lords and both my daughter and myself loved the Hundred final. It's a great stadium, both historic and modern. The seats have plenty of leg room and all offer a fabulous view of the action. We particularly enjoyed the history when walking around and the museum was brilliant - huge thanks to the staff in their for their insights and warmth.
There were lots of toilets, food options and free water fountains. Will definitely be back sooner rather than later!

The Home of Cricket. Dream comes true 😵🤞🏻Wow what a thrilling match to be witnessed and Team India win 🔥🐐🙏🏻🌻. Pleased with entire Lord's ground management team and facilities so far all good. They allow take away food and drinks which is good if you carry or Just wish they have some wide option for food as with family when we visit and preferences vegan or vegetarian difficult to find in long day like test match or better to carry take away box along with you.

Lord's Cricket Ground is international cricket ground and commonly known as Lord's, and most beautiful stadiums 🏟 on International Cricket Council (ICC) panel. Lord's is widely referred to as the Home of Cricket and is home to the world's oldest sporting museum. This ground can hold 30,000 spectators.
r.
Comfy padded seats at the home of cricket! Uninterrupted view, enough leg room. Nearest tube station is St. John’s Wood , the queues after a capacity crowd are mental. None of the surrounding roads are closed and can be quite dangerous when leaving the stadium. Plenty of food choices and bars inside the ground

History has been made & blessed to be part of it......
What a match and what an Stadium Lords is, If you are a Fan of Cricket then once in a lifetime please do Visit here.
It all started with one thought that my wife had 'I want to show you a match in Lords'.
Way's you can reach here. We travelled from Slough to Paddington Via Train and then Bus to Stadium. A pro tip while traveling on Weekends purchase whole day pass , it's valid on all type of Transport including Buses.
There is no Direct train to Venue so at some point you will have to take Bus.
Now coming to seats , Which one to buy. As per our experience we got Ticket of Restricted View that means on the left of your side you will see a Pillar. To be frank if you take the very first Row of any Restricted View seats it's as good as any other. Don't take anything beyond that. Rest all seats are awesome.
The hospitality is great.... To all the Cricket fan's you're allowed to bring in Your Food as well as your Alcohol. Lord's is the only stadium that allows Alcohol. You have nice shops for eating and if something you want to shop as well. Don't miss to checkout the Museum. It was free when we went.
Nothing to complaint about only the Washroom can be improve like anything for Men's. You will understand once you visit. May be because it is so old.
Best of best experience, as a Child i never dreamt of coming here and my first live exposure becomes Lord's where India secure the Magical win.

It was bucket list item for me seeing England play cricket at Lords and it didn't disapoint at all. Jimmy Anderson and Joe Root's were on top form. Great seats high up in the new Compton Stand. Loo and the bar were just down a few steps - happy days. Refreshments and food there are not as expensive as I was led to believe by others which was a pleasant suprise. And we also got a full day of cricket too.
T. L.
As always one of the best sports arenas to visit and the Saturday of the test match versus India was the best days cricket I have ever seen there the atmosphere was electric. Thank you to all the staff at the ground for making it so special. I can't wait to return.

Being from India, where cricket is loved by almost everyone, visiting Lords was must! The ground, the dressing room, the conference room, everything is class! It feels amazing when the guide tells everyone about the 1983 world Cup and the iconic moment that Sourab Ganguly created.
Indians, in my opinion must give priority to visit this ground when in London.
M. F.
Great experience to visit the home of cricket. A privilege to see the history of the game on the walls.
First class seats with a great view of the pitch. Toilets spotlessly clean. Plenty of food and drink available.
Security checks carried out efficiently by thorough but polite and good natured staff. My first visit was a great experience and surpassed my expectations. Looking forward to returning soon.

Went for the first ever Hundred's final.
It was really fun. Fortunate to see both women and men final. Mu Bucket list checked.
Wheelchair accessible entrance, washroom, food, water, beer everything accessible. Both card and cash transactions. Loved the atmosphere. It's a different feeling to see a match in Lord's than anywhere in the world.

We watched match in the hospitality suite. Electrifying atmosphere in the test match between England and India. We liked the food and overall experience was Unforgettable.
b. p.
Just awesome 🤩🤩 watched Eng Vs Ind test match from mound lower stand. A whole new experience enjoying the cricket with the crowd chanting along
S. F.
I have always wanted to watch cricket here and was very impressed with the whole experience. Our seats were very good and right in the action. The food stalls had a lot of variety abd they even had a Veuve Cliquot stand.

Lord's Cricket Ground known as Lord's, is a cricket venue in St John's Wood, London. Named after its founder, Thomas Lord, it is owned by Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and is the home of Middlesex County Cricket Club, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), the European Cricket Council (ECC) and, until August 2005, the International Cricket Council (ICC). Lord's is widely referred to as the Home of Cricket and is home to the world's oldest sporting museum.
Location : St John's Wood, London, England
Coordinates : 51.5294°N 0.1727°W
Establishment : 1814; 207 years ago
Capacity : 31,100
Owner : Marylebone Cricket Club
Lord's today is not on its original site; it is the third of three grounds that Lord established between 1787 and 1814. His first ground, now referred to as Lord's Old Ground, was where Dorset Square now stands. His second ground, Lord's Middle Ground, was used from 1811 to 1813 before being abandoned to make way for the construction through its outfield of the Regent's Canal. The present Lord's ground is about 250 yards (230 m) north-west of the site of the Middle Ground. The ground can hold 30,000 spectators. Proposals are being developed to increase capacity and amenity. As of December 2013, it was proposed to redevelop the ground at a cost of around £200 million over a 14-year period.
The current ground celebrated its two hundredth anniversary in 2014. To mark the occasion, on 5 July an MCC XI captained by Sachin Tendulkar played a Rest of the World XI led by Shane Warne in a 50 overs match.
The current pavilion at Lord's is the third pavilion to stand at the ground and is main survivor from the Victorian era, having been built in 1889–90. It has been listed as a Grade II* listed building since September 1982. The pavilion was constructed using brick with ornate terracotta facing, which includes terracotta gargoyles, such as 'The Patriarch' which is thought to represent Lord Harris. The building consists of a long, two storey centre section with covered seating between two end towers which are capped with pyramidal roofs which have ornate wrought and cast iron lanterns.[100] Running the full length of the rear of the second floor is the pavilion roof terrace, which provides views of the entire ground. It underwent an £8 million refurbishment programme in 2004–05. The pavilion is primarily for members of the MCC, who may use its amenities, which include seats for viewing the cricket, the Long Room and its Bar, the Bowlers Bar, and a members' shop. At Middlesex matches the pavilion is open to members of the Middlesex County Cricket Club. The Pavilion also contains the dressing rooms where players change, each of which has a small balcony for players to watch the play.
The Long Room is found on the ground floor of the pavilion and has been described by Lawrence Booth as "the most evocative four walls in world cricket".Players walk through the Long Room on their way from the dressing rooms to the cricket field; this walk is notoriously long and complex at Lord's. On his Test debut in 1975, David Steele got lost on his way out to bat "and ended up in the pavilion's basement toilets".Once a player reaches the Long Room is approximately 30 paces from the swing door at the rear of the room to the steps which lead onto the playing field. The Long Room is decorated with paintings of famous cricketers and administrators from the 18th to the 21st century, predominantly English players. For an overseas player to have their portrait placed in the Long Room is a considerable honour. Amongst overseas players to have a portrait in the Long Room are four Australians: Don Bradman, Keith Miller, Victor Trumper and Shane Warne.

Great first time experience watching India England Test match. Every cricket fans should visit if around in London.

Personally i like MCG but lords have so much history packed into it that its worth going on a tour and seeing the stadium up close.
M. A.
Makka of Cricket. Lords is an amazing ground with all facilities & restaurents but has some weird policies. They don't allow to carry national flags of any country inside & keep it in safe custody while entering. Every cricket lover should take its tour of one of the finest cricket ground once to withness its beauty. Ground is very close (3min walk) to St John Wood tube station.
N. S.
Lord's Cricket Ground was amazing! Electric atmosphere at The Hundred Women's and Men's finals! Drinks and food are a bit pricy though - would like to see them proportionate to their realistic prices! Would definitely visit again!
f.
Home of cricket, plenty on offer to see and enjoy, be aware not all seats are protected from the elements. It's not cheap (especially test cricket 🏏) plenty of diverse food outlets that unfortunately also charge premium prices. Just get used to getting up to allow, oddly what seems the same people, to refuel throughout the day.
A.
The home of cricket offers visitor tours. You could book them online in advance else you can watch a good game of cricket buying tickets from the ECB website. Either way if you are a cricket fan, this is a must visit !
D. G.
It's an iconic stadium. Quality of seats which are cushioned (Lower Edrich stand) are fantastic & comfortable. Great selection of stalls for hot food. You can carry your own food with you if required. I was even allowed to take in couple of beer cans( Not more than 500ml each).Looks much better than it was during my last visit during 50 over Cricket World Cup. Looking forward to more live matches. Great experience for a day out with either family or friends.
P. M.
Home of cricket. Good range of food and drinks. Seats are ok, could be improved along with the legsroom. The Pelham's hospitality lounge has a great vantage point and the food is ok, decent menu but served overdone and dry. Much more could be done with the area around the ground, more large screens and entertainment to keep the crowd entertained outside of the cricket match.
Z. F.
It's the home of cricket, is there more to say? As an Aussie, I really enjoyed the tour of the grounds and learning about the history of this place. The tour was detailed and interesting, and now I just need to watch the Aussies win an ashes test match here and all will be well.
S. C.
Great venue for cricket. I can see why they call it home of cricket. Came here to watch the test match between England and India. The food was not too expensive and they a few areas to visit around the ground, museum and shops
B. H.
A magical and historical place indeed. Fantastic venue to watch a match, enjoy an interesting tour, host a party or even get some awesome presents! All tried by us as a family and everything is great there. You won't be disappointed.
S. T.
Amazing experience watching cricket @Lords. Loved it and India won. Unforgettable absolutely a fun day.
P. E.
It was my first time visiting Lord’s Cricket Ground. I went to watch a cricket match with my family. If you are a cricket lover you will love the spot. Drinks prices are reasonable and they plenty of food options.
K. R. B.
Great experience watching a test match from Compton Stand Upper Tier. The facilities are amazing, and spectator friendly. Highly recommended for cricket lovers.
C. F.
Fantastic to be back at the home of cricket 🏏..Great day and love the new stands in which we were in Upper tier of eldrich stand..Great view...€6.50 a pint..expected really and probably par for the course...lagers,🍺 ales available
S. T.
The home of cricket! If you like cricket it's kind of a pilgrimage, if you don't ... well, you're missing out. (Unless you follow Middlesex in which case I guess some of the novelty rubs off)
If you're visiting the stands are great with comfy seats. There are also toilets all over the place and lots of water fountains to fill bottles. For a drop of harder stuff there are plenty of bars, but expect to queue around breaks and intervals in play.
There's generally a good selection of food outlets, but you will queue a *long* time of there's a decent crowd in.
Families are the future of the game, and Lord's generally puts on specific family (no alcohol) seating areas.
Might be worth leaving a bit early if you want to get through St John's Wood tube easily
R. K. B.
The home of cricket.1st time exp and enthralled eng bat exp. Unforgettable moments and day @Lords. The mecca of cricket

What A Ground !
What A Vibe !
Goosebumps moments for every cricket fan lovers when they entered in the ground which is known by ' The Home Of Cricket ' ❤️ Same type of feeling I felt at there.
On 15th Aug Indian Independence Day i was there for 4th day of 2nd Test Match India vs England. What a crowd it was ! Full house 😍
Full of energy, lots of surprises came in Game bit we fought well then end of the day 5 india won. Wuhhuuu 🇮🇳 History Return in The frame of Lord's Cricket Ground.
See you super soon Home of cricket 'The Lord's'.
M. P.
The home of cricket, of course ! Wonderful ground, with unobstructed views from all seats.
Place was rocking tonight as it was a 100 fixture.
Plenty of food and beer on sale, access and egress from seats is very well organised.
I can recommend a ground and museum tour, which I did a couple of years ago.
Not certain what the MCC members would have made of the razzmatazz that accompanies these 100 games, ....definitely not cricket, old boy !
n. k.
Amazing place for cricket lovers as well as if you are looking for a nice summer day out.
Tickets are not cheap for good international matches, so maybe better value for money if you see domestic / county matches.
Good food options as well
D. M.
Great sporting theatre. Saw The Hundred Final and really enjoyed it. Sat in Nursery End. Only issue was the Public Address system was too quiet to hear the announcements.
M. W.
A great day watching cricket, helped by very comfortable seats, great views and helpful staff. A good selection of food and drink venues help make a great day.
Lords is truly the home of cricket
R. R.
Tour of the ground and pavilion for around 90 mins was fascinating and very enjoyable. Got there about 30 mins before the start so had plenty of time to look around the museum. Best bits of the tour are the pavilion going onto the Long Room and dressing rooms
S. B.
The cathedral of cricket....just so well run and organised....if you love your cricket you have to make it to lords....a really special place!
C. J.
A brilliant afternoon/evening at the T20. Great venue, with very good views from our seats in the grandstand. Drinks were fairly priced for London. Stewards were incredibly helpful and all very friendly. Can't wait to go again 😁
N. D.
Stewards overzealous. Went to watch the hundred with my family, really good experience until the end when they stopped the music and announcements because people were singing. They are happy to take £6 for a beer but not happy if the crowd sing.
L. F.
An entertaining day of test cricket at the home of cricket. Great hospitality from the Professional Cricketer's Association. I had a seat in the lower tier of the mound stand, so was exposed to sunshine from about 11.30.
A. S.
Amazing tour. Would love to attend the art tour too because the regular tour doesn't give adequate attention to the artwork in the hallways as there are quite a few and rightly so deserve a tour of their own. They give a food choice option too which was contrary to expectations. The food was good but it's not like an experience within the ground and its history. Wouldn't recommend to do it as part of the lord's tour experience.
S. S.
Love the place, but I wish London Spirit would win a game. In the grandstand, great view and comfy seats.
D. C.
Always love Lords, what a day out! Splendid day at the Test last week in the blazing sunshine. Love the fact that you can bring a picnic along and always take full advantage. Not a bad seat in the house and a splendid visual mix of modern stadium building and antique elements of the home of cricket make the place truly unique. Wonderful choice of food and drink vendors around the ground and the bar prices aren't as astronomical as you might expect from a sports arena. Can't wait to come again!
J. K.
The Premier place to enjoy your Cricket, Shame that it takes so long to get in, but well worth the wait once that you enter 'The Crucible' for the game.
S. W.
Arguably the home of cricket, the Victorian pavilion nestled among modern Grandstands. Try going there for a minor or MCC fixture to really appreciate it.
C. P.
Always a great experience with very friendly marshals, plenty of food and drink outlets, plus you can take in your own food and drink. So much better when your team wins ......
S. W.
The original home of cricket and still the most historic place to watch cricket. This is the only ground where you can take in your own alcohol (Bottle of wine or 4 cans) However, I want to temper this with the fact that this benefit does come at a cost. Tickets for the recent Pakistan 1 Day match cost an eye watering £150, compared to the recent one day match v Sri Lanka at the KIA Oval which cost £60. Unlike the Oval there were no helpers to guide people to the ground or their seats once in the ground, it's a small thing but really makes you feel like they want you there.
J. P.
The best venue for cricket in England, well organised friendly staff, great day out
A. M.
What a wonderful stadium it is... The tour was well planned and the guide was very friendly and informative. Who couldn't exclaim and wonder at the great museum of cricket and the historical place where many matches were still a refreshing memory.. Very neat and tide, well staffed and organized on every corner of the premise.. Both the dressing rooms reminds us with full of memorable matches and the knocking win by many teams.. Almost all the top class players are mentioned somewhere and of course with great portraits too..
The famous Ashes cup was well displayed in the museum and the guide narrated the history behind the Ashes trophy in a very interesting way..
A must to visit place..
A. S.
The MCC cricket ground, home of cricket, tour visit was amazing. The guide was very knowledgeable as well.

Great experience. Loved it. It is worth to spend the money for the ticket. A great, must have experience if you are a true cricket fan. Tour group was not much big ( around 10-20 people) and you can ask questions and clarify things.

Great experience. Attended the Hundred final as a family of four. We were seated in the Edrich Stand and the views were great. The atmosphere was also really good. We arrived just in time for the men's game which was a shame as we didn't get to walk around and explore. The staff were really good and friendly too that seems to be the norm though at cricket grounds. Also they had lifts which was brill. All in all great evening.

Acting on behalf of the White Conduit Club and backed against any losses by George Finch, 9th Earl of Winchilsea and Colonel Charles Lennox, Thomas Lord opened his first ground in May 1787 on the site where Dorset Square now stands.[7] The White Conduit moved there from Islington soon afterwards and reconstituted themselves as Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC).[8] In 1811, feeling obliged to relocate because of a rise in rent, Lord removed his turf and relaid it at his second ground. This was short-lived because it lay on the route decided by Parliament for the Regent's Canal.[8]
The "Middle Ground" was on the estate of the Eyre family, who offered Lord another plot nearby; and he again relocated his turf. The new ground, on the present site, was opened in the 1814 season. The earliest known match was MCC v Hertfordshire on 22 June 1814.[9] This is not rated a first-class match. MCC won by an innings and 27 runs.[10] The next match known to have been played at Lord's, from 13 to 15 July 1814, was the earliest first-class one, between MCC and the neighbouring St John's Wood club, which had several guest players for the occasion, including five leading professionals. MCC won by 4 wickets.[11]
The annual Eton v Harrow match was first played on the Old Ground in 1805. There is no record of the fixture being played again until 29 July 1818, when it was held at the present Lord's ground for the first time; Harrow won by 13 runs. From 1822, the fixture has been almost an annual event at Lord's.

Talk about cricket, remember the name "The Lords" also known as The Home of Cricket. Once in a life time experience which you will cherish rest of your life. The ground has hosted many of historical cricket matches, from World cup matches to Finals. It had been a very good host to everyone. You can also visit this beautiful ground as a tourist. The seating capacity is around 30K so not a big capacity but the charisma being in this ground garb you very strongly. A must visit for all cricket fans if they are here in London.
M. R. C.
Lords has been known as the Mecca to cricket-lovers. Spectators passion for Cricket can be overwhelming while visiting here as it also hosts a free museum on site. It's worth making the effort to get there early. One must be prepared to walk if planning to reach by train. Plans and directions within the ground makes it easy to find your seat. The seats, like most other stadiums, are not comfortable enough if you sit for several hours. Some people bring cushions, others get up and walk around for time to time. Everything about this place is quite exceptional and visitors from Cricketing Nations to London should plan a visit here.
B. P.
Worthy of the Tag,Mecca of Cricket. Not only Cricketers around the World dream of playing in Lords, likewise Spectators dream of watching Cricket in this surreal atmosphere. It is a fabulous experience. The Ground,The Crowd and the Cricket makes it a wonderful Trinity.Today's match between India & England was a fantastic advertisement for Test Cricket and what better place than Lords to have displayed it.👏👏👏

Seats were good and day lived up to expectation. Facilities were good as well.

If you are a cricket tragic then this is on your bucket list. Tours are popular so book early. Unfortunately when we went the long room was booked for an MCC function. I loved the place. To see test matches you need to go into the ballot to get seats.
R. S.
Taking a tour through the host, visitors dressing room, balconies, long room, stands and garden - everything together was a memorable experience.
On a Saturday morning, I was lucky to have checked the tour availability while I was on the subway toward Lord’s. There were few seats left for 11 am tour, booking on their website on smartphone was smooth and easy (26 Pounds?).
I wish there’s a waiting lounge for visitors to use who arrive early (people come from far off places), and they’ve to just stroll outside without any shade or enclosure. I had to wait almost half an hour, and it was quite windy and drizzled for some time.
The tour itself is fantastic. You start at the museum (actually you’re let roam on your own till others join in), where one of the guides will join in, have introductions for all, and starts with his stories. Throughout the entire ritual of going through the museum, long room, meeting rooms, stairs, dressing rooms, balconies, one of the side stands and finally the garden - the guide would keep you engaged every moment with stories that you might have already read in cricket books or learnt from those trivia. At the same time, the trip was well-paced to give us enough time to enjoy the feeling of being at Lord’s and take innumerable snaps and selfies.
After the trip finishes, you’re let in to the gift shop, which is quite good and has all sorts of items for you to buy for yourself and your friends and family.
Memorable experience.

Absolute mesmerising. Once in life time experience. Beautiful day sun is shining , lovely experience.

The most iconic cricket ground I've ever been. Went to watch England vs India test match and what a day it was! The crowd management was fantastic. The food option was okay but the alcohol was good!

Visited this place as it’s considered as birth of Indian cricket team. Had taken a guided tour which has to be planned and booked weeks before. As the tour things happens only few days especially when there is no match on the ground.
Tour includes the visit of the museum, lounge, grounds, dressing rooms and press room.
Being in that dressing room was an awesome experience. Also the guide was well equipped with lot of information.
Certainly recommend the tour for cricket lovers. And do plan the visit well in advance.

Amazing place.
1st time at Lords. Usually go to Footy matches.
The atmosphere at a cricket match is so much nicer.
The seats were also nice.
Highly recommended

Great to be back at the home of cricket after 2 years. Thank You to all the MCC Staff for making it such a memorable day and being helpful, always smiling.

Took a tour here and I would say it was good to learn the history of the cricket club and prestigious Lord's cricket ground. Our tour guide was was very knowledgeable and shared amazing stories. I would suggest to book the tours in advance it might fill up soon. Going by public transportation is preferred.

Iconic cricket ground in the centre/north London with world and local ground. Lots of seating and always a good experience to watch the cricket. The food/bar items are highly overpriced however, so bring a packed lunch etc. if possible. (For example, ice cream small tub is £4)
Great otherwise!
L. G.
Good place to watch cricket. Hospitality and Management is one of the best at a sporting venue. Gentry is decent too. Quality demands a premium hence not cheap. A day of cricket on avg can cost £ 200 per head.
K. R.
Welcome to home of cricket. The guided tours recommended for knowing the great history of this ground, the museum and the ambience. Very close to Abbey road for the Beatles mania. Also, best to watch the match and enjoy lords with a glass of beer. We watched a county match, still fun in whites.
M. L.
Great place to visit.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable.
Stack of memorabilia there.
We went to the long room. Beautiful historic place.
20,000 members passing 500 yearly. It takes 29 years to be member if you can find 3 current members to sponsor you.
Only disappointing part was that a match was on the day we went and we couldn’t get into players dressing rooms.
After tour went on the optional English tea at the restaurant next door. The most delicious warm scones with jam and clotted cream. That’s very very thick yummy cream
Very friendly guy served us

An incredible days cricket, rain threatened to ruin things but from the time it stopped until the time the cricket started was about an hour. A fantastic job by the ground staff to get it all ready.
As a venue, slightly overpriced, but when you look at most of the spectators you see why. Prices always reflect what people are willing to spend and with this being Lords and in such an affluent area a burger will always be over a tenner.
The seats were very comfortable and the view was fantastic in the upper stand opposite the pavilion, but I'm lead to believe this is soon to be replaced by a shiny new stand.
Overall a great cricket venue and a wonderful day out, despite the British weather trying it's best to ruin it.
S. S.
Visited the place 6.5 years ago , Beautiful Cricket Stadium , went to the stadium tour , would say very lucky enough to experience walking through the long hall and checking out the dressing rooms of the players . A must Visit place for Cricket Fans

This is the oldey worldy cricket. A great historic ground surrounded with so many rules. I went on a tour there and it was great. The view from the media suite is awesome and the art in the ground is truly historic. If you're into cricket the tour is highly recommended.

Proposals are being developed to increase capacity and amenity.[4] As of December 2013, it was proposed to redevelop the ground at a cost of around £200 million over a 14-year period.[5]
The current ground celebrated its two hundredth anniversary in 2014. To mark the occasion, on 5 July an MCC XI captained by Sachin Tendulkar played a Rest of the World XI led by Shane Warne in a 50 overs match.[6]
M. S.
Absolutely fantastic ground. The new stand at the Nursery End is great with new food stalls built in and a bar area for refreshments. Excellent for getting in and out with short queue times on the way in and lots of exits allowing for everyone to leave quickly.
R. S.
Well organised and very friendly staff and looking forward to a good summer of cricket at Lords.
The ground staff did an amazing job at getting the pitch ready to see some cricket during a wet day so many congratulations to the team and all associated with Lords.
A. M.
Good experience for the cricket lovers !!
Better to book the ticket online and collect it from window outside the stadium.
The visit is lead in groups of people make sure you follow your guide through out.
Do check the weather forecast before you plan you trip since if its raining on that day pitch would be covered and you cant have full access.
There is public transport near by aswell for quick access. It would take around 2 hours to complete the trip so plan accordingly.
S. P.
We went to watch the 100. In the stand next to the media center great view.
The ground itself was superb both inside and the areas around the ground. There where plenty of visitor hosts making sure your time there was memorable
J. G.
Great cricket ground. Museum is a must visit for cricket lovers.
One warning though, food and drink can be obnoxiously expensive, and I mean shockingly so. £8.50 for a very average burger (alone, no salad, no fries). Take your own food.
S. S.
It was long pending in my list of places to visit in London. One fine weekend we finally decided to visit this place.
It was an amazing experience. The tour guide was very friendly, funny and informative too.
I. C.
Home of cricket, unique and a clubby feeling- you wait 20 years to get admitted if you’re not actually a cricketer. Great day out though, even if not in the pavilion. Beer and fast food good; you can’t really see what’s occurring from 50 yards away, so best with a cricket radio and earpiece.
J. S.
Lord's is a special place for me. Love this cricket ground and to see England was an honour! Every member of staff was exceptional. The view from lower Compton stand was great. I only booked it because it was the cheapest seat in the house but actually it was perfect. Shaded all day from blistering heat and a great view. Will be my seat of choice from now on and not just because of the price.
S. P.
Well maintained cricket ground and they have a well arrangements for the tour of dressing room, committee room and seating area. Cost of such is considerably high around 25GBP per person.
S. A.
The home of cricket is well named. It's a beautiful ground with the best of both traditional and modern architecture. The MCC museum is a must and it's free to visit. Every member of staff or volunteer that i spoke to was extremely polite and very helpful. Every cricket fan should come just for the experience, the cricket is a plus after that.
V. S.
Was there on the fifth day of the test match to witness India win. Amazing! Historic ground, the home of cricket. Make sure you do the tour when possible.
j. m.
Recently visited for England test series.
We had great day.
M. U.
Excellent facilities went to watch The Hundred final of men’s and women’s atmosphere was electrifying and staff in the shop and around the ground were very helpful.
R. P.
Cricket lovers & any person will love to visit & know the history of Lord's. Courtious & helpful guides, nice ambiance, well kept halls, paintings, stands, honor list of (inter)national players, great & oldest cricket Stadium.
S. C.
Always an amazing experience at Lord's! If you're a cricket fan, it's a must!
R. M.
Well! Words can't describe the very feeling when you enter the pavilion and the dressing room of the ground! It's no wonder called thanks it's history and feels so serene and religious shrine for a cricketer.
A. C. D.
Amazing staff and beautiful atmosphere, truly the home of cricket
K. N. L.
First time at Lords. Watching live World Cup cricket match from Hospitality VIP box. What a great service and view. Having a ball of a time at this place. Highly recommend it😎
U. G.
Loved it. Must visit for cricket lovers or if you fancy an outing with friends or family. Ground staff is welcoming, and everything is well planned. A hassel free and casual venue. Good services and food/drinks options. Easy to reach as well.
R. A. A.
Lovely ground plenty of staff to guide and keep the discipline. Rest rooms need more attention though and yes the sound system was absolutely rubbish. Couldn't make out what was being said on screen most of the time.
R. R.
Cricket lovers will love this place! Indians will have a special connect with the place due to the fact that we lifted our first world cup here!
M. J.
One of the best cricket ground ever I saw ,for me dreams comes true once I visited this .If you are planning to Visit London and you are cricket fan it is must go place .You can buy a ticket from MCC website (25 pound).Once you reach the ground they will provide you one guide which will narrate or explain each thing very nicely ,along with he will show you complete stadium including dressing room ,media box, famous balcony .It's worth to spend each penny here .
R. R.
Undeniably the best cricket stadium in the whole world. I watched India vs England test match here and also played in MCC cricket indoor nets.
Stadium has almost all possible facilities and water fountains which are essential during match day.
This ground has the best outfield which can be play ready even after downpour in no time.
Stadium is located in residential area but easily accessible by bus or tube.
P. R.
Every cricket 🏏 lover have thair own dreams that they want to enjoy cricket in Lord"S In England mine is also.. but today i see too nearly half dream come true.. half remain . It will be finished soon when Ind vs Eng will play together....🇮🇳vs🏴

What's not to lover about the home of cricket. From the moment you get there the stewards are friendly, the security people are polite and courteous. There are lots of bars to get drinks quickly, lots of food options. Seating is good and viewed of the ground are exceptional. Apart from the standard of the English batting I don't have a complaint.
S. A.
Dream of life to see live match at home of cricket .gr8 atmosphere at WC19 pak vs south africa. Place to see all cricket heroes & legends of the game.worth to visit & spend time at ground & surrounding inside food street .all facilities are availible nearby .
A. M.
We really enjoyed our tour with Graham. He was very friendly and made an effort to share facts based on which country the tour participants hailed from beyond only England. He was very knowledgeable! It's pricey but we went before a county game and got to also enjoy the rest of the game which made it well worth while. Be careful if you go on match days though as access can be restricted. We went at 9 so hardly missed out!
H.
A historic Icon in the Cricket world and the rule making mecca for Cricket. It was a blessing and a treat to witness history that was made here over 2 centuries and learnt more on how the club withstood so many heardles that nearly closed doors permanently, but still withstood them and came about to be what we know of the MCC today. The contemporary, candid feel of the dressing rooms, and the view from the pavillion that steered emotions not just on the ground, but all across the world on millions of television sets during hundreds of games was mesmerizing and emotional to witness in-person. Weather you are a cricket fan or not, it puts days, months, years and decades into prospective and makes you feel small and humbled. I highly recommend visiting!
A. T.
A fantastic experience that I will never forget - taking a group of children from the school I work at to be part of a successful world record attempt in July 2017 to hold the world's biggest cricket lesson in a single venue.
M. H.
Just a brilliant experience, so well organised & staffed. I loved everything about it, AND my team won!!! 🏆
N. C. M.
History of cricket started from lords. So many international players played cricket in lords.Lords is called Mecca of cricket.I am huge lover of cricket.Today (29-01-2017) visited Lord’s cricket stadium.stadium is very beautiful the tour guide is very nice.He explained everything very well.
G. W.
Where better to watch cricket than the home of cricket. What it can lack in terms of a thunderous atmosphere, it makes up for with its sense of ceremony/occasion.
They have all the basics nailed too with plenty of toilets and bars so queues are minimal even when at capacity.
a. k.
I had an Immersive experience at the stadium. The tour was informative, detailed and fun. There were alot of facts that we didn't know about the stadium and international cricket. Definitely recommended. Currently, the JP Morgan stands are being renovated so the media centre is closed for the tour, so I'd suggest to go after they have completed the construction.
T. K.
If you love Cricket you should go one time I am from India so I loves to go over there to watch I am from USA but I like the ground because I know Cricket I love to watch the cricket status I like to watch 4 six in this ground it’s very close to railway station so you can find a good ride an Uber or taxi but better way to go in the railway stations by train you should take a ticket before you go and if you like to go go with the cricket match India and England always wash this for the games you enjoy more crowd over there they’re laughing there enjoying all the moment there
A. J.
Amazing place to view cricket, the tour is a definite must for cricket conisseurs. The food from Pelhams that is served via the Luxury hospitality package is a 3 course lunch which is amazing and worth nearly £50 , and the teas served are special.
The tour itself is great, viewing pavilion, media box museum etc, only shame is no photos taken in the Long Room, which is a spoiler and no changing rooms views where honours boards are.
All in all a great day. Great waitress service in pelhams. Think it was chloe my waitress who was lovely.

Do you like Cricket? This is the right place for you!
Lord’s Cricket Ground (“Lord’s”), owned by Marylebone Cricket Club (“MCC”), is situated on St. John’s Wood Road in Marylebone, North London and is a fifteen minute walk from St. John’s Wood tube station and high street. Founded by Thomas Lord in 1787 as the home of Marylebone Cricket Club, the Ground moved to the current site in St. John’s Wood in 1814 and is now the ultimate destination for international players and cricket fans alike. It is the Home of Cricket and the most famous cricket ground in the world. The Ground is steeped in history and charm, with extraordinary architecture and a fascinating collection of cricketing artefacts, paintings and memorabilia, including the iconic Ashes Urn.
Lord’s comprises of a seventeen acre site and it is possible to walk around the Ground on an even walkway and is wheelchair friendly. Visitors who are disabled or visually impaired can enjoy the experience of the Ground’s atmosphere on match days as there are special arrangements to ensure the comfort and safety of these particular individuals. MCC is a member of the Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Scheme. There are four large video screens, a public address system, hearing loops (in parts of the Ground) and free Wi- Fi to enable visitors to enjoy the game of cricket just that little bit more. The Ground has several excellent disabled toilet facilities that are located around the Ground and can be easily accessed via RADAR entrance keys from Stewards or Tour Guides.
MCC is passionate about delivering equality to all visitors attending events at Lord’s or going on a tour. MCC is continuously working towards improving standards, facilities and attitudes so that less able people can find a host of schemes to help them enjoy their visit to the Ground.

Last visited Lords in the 1980s. A lot has changed but the grass is still green.
V. V. R.
I went here with guided tour for £18 (student price). The ground is fantastic. I have seen dressing and learned the history from our guide.
G. J. R.
An interesting experience for sure. Even if you have no idea what's going on, renting a box during the week when there's no more than 50 spectators in the stadium is a great way to mingle with a group.
T. L.
Tour for an hour is amazing as the guide literally takes you on a cricket ride with all the fascinating stories about how ashes series started and how bad england did in a few test matches.

Lord's Cricket Ground, commonly known simply as Lord's, is a cricket venue in St John's Wood, London. Lord's is widely referred to as the Home of Cricket[2] and is home to the world's oldest sporting museum.
Lord's today is not on its original site, being the third of three grounds that Lord established between 1787 and 1814.
To mark the occasion, on 5 July an MCC XI captained by Sachin Tendulkar played a Rest of the World XI led by Shane Warne in a 50 overs match
Acting on behalf of the White Conduit Club and backed against any losses by George Finch, 9th Earl of Winchilsea and Colonel Charles Lennox, Thomas Lord opened his first ground in May 1787 on the site where Dorset Square now stands. The White Conduit moved there from Islington soon afterwards and reconstituted themselves as Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC).[8] In 1811, feeling obliged to relocate because of a rise in rent, Lord removed his turf and relaid it at his second ground. This was short-lived because it lay on the route decided by Parliament for the Regent's Canal.
The "Middle Ground" was on the estate of the Eyre family, who offered Lord another plot nearby; and he again relocated his turf. The new ground, on the present site, was opened in the 1814 season. The earliest known match was MCC v Hertfordshire on 22 June 1814. This is not rated a first-class match. MCC won by an innings and 27 runs. The next match known to have been played at Lord's, from 13 to 15 July 1814, was the earliest first-class one, between MCC and the neighboring St John's Wood club, which had several guest players for the occasion, including five leading professionals. MCC won by 4 wickets.
Cricket matches
Lord's hosts Test matches, one-day internationals, some Middlesex home matches, MCC matches and (starting with a fixture between Middlesex and Surrey in July 2004) some of Middlesex's home Twenty20 games.
Lord's typically hosts two Tests every summer plus two one-day internationals. Lord's also plays host to the finals of the National Village Cricket Competition, the MCC Universities Challenge tournament and the Royal London Cup.
On 7 September 1963 Lord's hosted the first Gillette Cup final. The Gillette Cup was the first major one-day tournament.
The oldest permanent fixture at Lord's is the annual Eton versus Harrow match which began in 1805 (Lord Byron played in the 1805 Harrow XI) and celebrated its bicentenary in 2005. Since 2000 it has been 55 overs per side, but before that it was declaration and before that it was two innings per side over two days. Eton has the balance of wins, but the victor in the bicentenary year was Harrow.

The tourist guide was far too "colonial" and kinda ruined the experience for me. Comments like why we call them "batter" and not "batsmen"; bemoaning the use of electronic advertising and just a general reluctance of accepting that things change. Liked the sound of his voice abit too much - didn't really take the time for questions except at the end - when I think he was just tired. Change the tour guide! No place for dinosaurs peddling their ideals. I didn't come for that 😕
T. E.
The Home of Cricket!! Here for the Ashes Test, great day out! One of the few grounds which you can take your own alcohol into. Prepare your own food or picnic too as prices can be rather steep. You can usually find a good spot to sit, eat and drink on the Nursery ground.
S. J.
Heaven for Cricket Lovers ... So much of cricket stories about the great legends on this ground...
You can book a tour online on the website before visiting so that you could enter inside and tey to relive those moments... i missed it because it was still in that Xmas vacation calendar but for sure will visit to watch a live match and visit by booking a tour ....
and yes it's near from Baker Street underground or Regent's park...
F. R.
Best cricket ground in the world! Haven’t watched a match there but did a guided tour, has to be one of the best experiences I’ve had. There’s so much history behind Lords, it’s definitely worth visiting. Can’t wait to go back!!
g. k.
I can't express My feelings, due to covid situations , I can't enter the stadium. But touching the gate itself feels touching moment. Ppl walking outside looks like my favourite England players especially Anderson, Morgan and cook. I saw a poster of Taylor highest odi run getter in lords Vs India, still I couldn't remember the player and the match.
R. R. A.
Every cricket lover must visit when they visit London.. Home of Cricket. Charge was around 24pounds.. if u purchase national railway day ticket u can get 2 for 1 offer.. Day ticket costs 12pounds .

The home of cricket!
On a Match day, there is an amazing atmosphere here, starting gently and slowly bubbling up as more drinks are consumed by the patrons.
Champagne corks pop, and fly onto the pitch to cheers of the grandstand, wickets fall to roars of the crowds, all knowing how important this ground is.
Take a walk around and visit the museum which is free on match days, or just soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the home of cricket.
i. g.
I have been to most of the major cricket grounds in the world and there is nothing to compare to Lords
The greatest cricket ground in the world with the new stands it looks fantastic
Z. M.
The home of cricket... Definitely worth a visit for those cricket fans... The stadium is packed with history and memorabilia through out... Ground stroke musem is fantastic... The only shame being is the British weather.. The ground itself if like a tourist attraction and if you can get to to tickets to a match worth going.
L.
The place that changed my perspective towards cricket. My husband loves cricket and we went there for him, but after getting enriched by the history and tradition of Lords I've started liking cricket myself. The entire tour was so well organised, kudos to the guide. We even met Michael Atherton at the Lords. A tour of the Lords is a must when you are in London.
M. s.
It was a very awesome experience..the best thing about the ground water the old building where the changing world and got to see the place where Indian cricket team won the matches against England and the place where the state the place where they changed into the uniform and place weather waiting for the turn we also got to see this sourav ganguly's window when he took off his shirt there is also like some boards featuring the best cricketers the best centurys or over best bowlers andthe hallway is full of pain things which are always be copyrighted but still the paintings are breathtaking and overwhelming because being in Indian seeing those paintings of Indian cricketers can just invoke a feeling of pride and a feeling of being a global level citizen.ticket shows are the various places of the crown and the new of structure created for the media to take all like coverage and also to see the slope of the ground which is the maximum slope of any ground in the world.22 stadium is not the biggest ground but it is a very small and very intimate place where we can watch the ground from every seat clearly. A must go place in United kingdom.if you found this review helpful then give me a like

Got our first Astra Zeneca and Pfizer jabs done here. Excellent organisation and delivery. Can recommend location. Very caring and clean. Go to the Grace Gate and a guide will take care of you from there. Very pleased

Great indoor training facilities, as you would expect at the home of cricket. Cafe and viewing area upstairs

Lords Cricket Ground, the birth place of cricket...
Filled with history and energy.
Every cricket lover must visit the Lords stadium either to watch a match or atleast take a tour of the stadium...

Lord's Cricket Ground is known as the Home of Cricket and is owned by Marylebone Cricket Club - better known, throughout the cricketing world, as MCC.

Would highly recommend doing a tour of Lords you get excellent access to behind the scenes. Please if on the tour remember everyone would like to take selfies on the balcony so be polite and when they say no photos to be taken here LISTEN it was said in English and explained not hard instructions to follow

It's Lords. If anyone seriously needs a review of this place, then this is that you need to know:
Home. Of. Cricket.

Excellent, value for money experience,100 minutes with a very knowledgeable host.Thoroughly recommended.
R. R.
The Mecca of cricket, the walking tour around the galleries and dressing rooms, and hallways, listening to the stories right from the time of the Ashes, nothing better can happen in the cricket arena.
S. P.
Excellent Cricket Stadium. Mecca of Cricket. Enjoyed Bangladesh vs Pakistan CWC19 Match with my son.
D. K.
Well what can I say. First time for me at Lord's the Home of Cricket for The Hundred tournament. It was a privilege to see the history on the wall especially India 1983 world cup victory. Staff at the gates were friendly patient and caring with both adults and kids. Staff at the drinks counter and numerous coffee/food vans were great too. Plenty of options to eat. Enjoyed the women's 100ball game. Although the men's match was abandoned due to rain, overall a enjoyable day. Will definitely return for more matches. If you are in anyway connected to cricket this is the place to have visited at least once. So see you there next time.....
K. T.
Great ground... It gets really hot if ur in sitting in the sun so lower level seats are usually better as they are shaded.
I sat in the Compton stand and it was on the side of the press and commentators box so almost behind the bowlers arm... Great view however when they have presentation ceremony it's on the other side (right opposite) in front of the players pavilion so u can't see anything then. The brown building in some of my pics is thep layers pavilion but these are great seats
C. A.
Been years since I visited Lord's for a game of cricket, but went yesterday for second Covid jab. Great job by all involved. Thank you NHS ❤️
E. M.
All cricket fans must visit if in London , they have a lovely tour of the Lords cricket ground !!
J. R.
Lord's is a beautiful place to see cricket. Lovely ground and world class experience. It is well worth doing the tour of the grounds and the museum if you cannot make a game.
A. P.
An absolute pleasure to be in, surrounded by such a lovely atmosphere and the history gives it an extra advantage of heir, mystery and age. Great stadium noise which comes with stadiums and staff, are dressed so appropriately, very helpful and friendly. A very high controlled environment due to covid rules which again is excellent and safe. The place is full of bars, places to grab some great food and drink. The crowd are well behaved and full of jeer and spirit. You don't have to like cricket to enjoy this experience but allthemore if you do...
A great place to visit and enjoy...be a part of history, sport and entertainment.

Stunning venue!
Cricket. Cricket. Cricket. What's more to say. Steeped in so much history and it lives in today. Looked around the club, grounds and facilities. Staff were warm and welcoming. I'm not even a fan of cricket but would love to go on a match day now!
They do everything from individual entrance through to corporate events, have a museum, bars and restaurants on the grounds.
O. T. C. R.
Pretty good with birthday boy Adam my lovely grandson
P. W.
Well it's as iconic a location as any sporting ground in the world. It's equally well run - loads of facilities with plenty of water fountains. I first came to a match here 30 years ago and it is constantly being updated and improved. Makes you happy to be English even if we are currently being trounced by an excellent Irish side. Everyone still perfectly happy which is a testament to the venue and good folk who come to enjoy a marvelous day out.
R. B.
A very nice hospitality suite with some sort of sport facility next door. The Nursery Pavilion isn't a great venue for meetings because there is literally no acoustic isolation from the hospitality area outside. Catering was good and the tour of the cricket ground was interesting.
A. K.
Went to watch the Pakistan South Africa world cup match and given the sheer number of people this was managed really well! The only slight delay was getting food which we got after a 40 minute wait in the line. Besides that the experience of watching a world cup match at Lord's was amazing.
R. G.
A must stop for every cricket fan!!
The home of cricket. Truely fantastic.
You can actually feel the glory of true legends who played there.
Take the tour for a sneak peek at the Lord's museum, where you can see the Amazing Ashes Trophy, signed bats and t-shirts of great men like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Gangly, Brain Lara and the list goes on and on.
Step into the eye catching, media center and you will get a view unlike other.
M. B.
Wonderful day at lords. It was my fathers 80th birthday and we had afternoon tea and a tour of Lords.
Amazing staff who were very helpful and the tour was amazing. My kids got to sit in Joe Roots seat in the dressing room.

Visiting The Home of Cricket - Lord's Cricket Ground was a dream come true for me. An absolutely fantastic ground, if you are a cricket fan, I would highly recommend that you take a tour here and watch a game here.
I visited Lord's on two separate occasions. One was to watch a day's play between Middlesex and Yorkshire. A fantastic experience - comfortable seats. And while the match was interrupted by rain, the grounds staff did an incredible job to ensure that day's play could continue. Staff there is excellent - and they have good variety of beer too to accompany you while you cheer for your favourite team.
I took the tour at Lord's too and it was a wonderful experience. I am not going to go into details so you can personally experience this tour. The tour guide was wonderful and it was great to meet other people from my own country, India, as well as from England, Australia, and other places - all with a common passion of cricket.
The MCC Cricket Academy nets facilities at Lord's are wonderful - it was a great experience to bowl there.
Can't wait to be back at Lord's for the games next year.
Edit: Came here for the ICC Women's World Cup Final and a fantastic experience. Wonderful crowd and nice seating. Very good staff too. Looking forward to attend more games, including Tests and T20s!
D. M.
Been cricket fan all my life now 85 best day ever what a day would love to say a BIG thank you to all involved
S. B.
Went to Lord's for the first time for a Hundred match. Stewards were fantastic and so helpful. Knock on rating as queues for food were ridiculously busy, they need more food only stands as many people were queuing for drinks. Another reason for star being knocked was how much people were standing up randomly between the matches to get alcohol and the stands were just packed with drunk people, expect a bit more class at a cricket match that is supposed to be family friendly. Should be a cut off time for bars to serve alcohol as it ruined the atmosphere and experience of being surrounded by drunks.
R. T.
Amazing atmosphere, numerous food and drink options
S. B.
A enjoyable experience even if you're not a cricket fan. The history and beauty of this ground is unmatched. Tours are available, food options and great location make this a misy visit if you're in London.
M. J.
If you are visiting for a match its great if not.. take a tour for 7 Pounds and its worth... you will have a guide and can visit dressing room and pavilion and media center.. even on the balcony area..worth every penny. try it ..
J. J.
It was a deam come true coming to Lord's. The stadium small, compared to most around the world, but the heritage and traditions makes it beautiful.
K. V.
Great tour visiting one of the famous cricket ground. Unique in nature. Loved seeing pavilion , dressing rooms and media Center.
Advise to People taking Tour: please reach at least 30-45 minutes before scheduled tour time as that is the time you get to spend in museum.
A. H.
The home and Mecca of cricket for the world to come and see.... simply wonderful as a ground and experience for all cricket lovers and even non cricket lovers as the place is steeped in history and has a great anbeance no matter what...well, so long as it stays dry..even so, plenty to drink and eat if you can stay dry, lol
C.
This is one of the prime example of how to preserve history and embrace the future! It is just fabulous to be here! The food stalls are alright and some of the seats in the stand do not have a roof in case of rain but you easily forget this and enjoy the game!
R. S.
Always coming here for the cricket they now have water stations around the ground to refill water bottles. They allow you to bring alcohol and picnic food in and there are lots of places at the nursery end of the ground but beware there are always long queues. The stwards here are always very helpful and polite.
R. “.
Everything is fast! Getting in to the grounds was fast, getting a drink was fast (and the choices of beer were good, no boring usual suspects), good food choices (also pretty quick), using the toilets was quick even though the queue was out the door. This is all because the facilities are set up to handle a full venue; lots of counters to be served at, with competent staff.
D. R.
Cricket at it's best!! Home of Cricket as they rightly say. Beautiful ground and amazing ground staff. Good food and drinks. Guarantee of fun filled day if you like cricket.
L. C.
We come here at least twice a year. Sat in the new Upper Compton stand. Great view and nice to have dedicated bars and toilets. It's good to be back!
S. B.
Wow the home of cricket , not a big fan but hard to be impressed by this place , steeped in history and culture amazing
J. L.
Great evening at Lords watching 20/20 cricket. Sadly Middlesex lost to Sussex in thrilling last over of the game . 🤐
A. g.
Awesome experience at Home of Cricket 🏏.Cricketers will find their real love at this place. I wish to come every day for watching match and do our nets practice at the lovely ground.
p. s.
Great Place, wax statue around the place, small ground, Make sure the availability of tour guide as it is difficult to get hands on them. Food is available around the corner.
L. S.
Took a tour of the stadium, museum and witnessed locations where some of the historic matches have taken place. Well kempt dressing rooms and long room was beautiful, with art work and fireplaces .
J. N.
Brilliant time watching the 100. Great facilities and family friendly.
c.
Thanks had the best time, food was of a good standard, good varied drinks available. I appreciate where we were seated since my friend and I have disabilities, lift service was invaluable. Look forward to going back it rocked!

Lord's Cricket Ground in London, is commonly referred to as the "Home of Cricket" and it also has world's oldest sporting museum. It was named after its founder Thomas Lord. It is considered as one of the most crucial gounds in cricket. It is also called as the 'Mecca of Cricket'.
The historic ground has hosted some of the epic clashes in history and players from all the countries look forward to getting their names engraved on Lord's honours boards by scoring a century, or by taking five-wicket hauls and ten-wicket hauls in a match.
However, as time passed, India developed a more attack-minded batting line-up that led to the emergence of some of the greatest cricketers in history. The World Cup win in 1983, defeating the favourites and the two-time defending champions West Indies was a landmark moment for Indian cricket.
India was playing in their first final of the World Cup and defied all the odds to defeat a prolific West Indies in 1983 under the leadership of Kapil Dev.
A. K.
An amazing place to watch a classic test match. Very much deserves the tag “Home of Cricket”.
I. H.
Great historic ground and very well presented with an interesting museum. They have really good facilities and plenty of food options. My only concern was some aggression from a minority of fans when leaving the ground
V. N.
Visited the cricket shop few days back to buy World Cup merchandise. Excellent service and welcoming staff.
I took their tour two years back with my childhood buddies from India and it was a memorable experience.
P. T.
Awesome experience at The Home of Cricket, the crowd was decent with nice sportive atmosphere.
Plenty of shops in the stand selling beers a pint costing around £5.50 with a £1 deposit for the re-usable glasses.
I can't help but point out there were hardly any Covid restrictions in and around the stadium, though sanitiser dispensing units were present in abundance. Can count people who were found wearing masks including employees.
Seating is not very spacious at least in the Grand Stand. If you are found yourself in the centre of the row, it's a bit of a pain to your way to the loo, especially when you've downed a few drinks.
You can take as much as your own food which is very useful and economical although there is plenty of choice in the shops.
a. s.
This is the iconic place which we all know as the holy place of cricket .... being a cricketer myself loved every corner and inch of this place be it ground , museum , dressing rooms or the stadium ... been here many times and hopefully will be visiting many more times again too ... the lords tour is also very good and informative ... don’t forget to take your memorabilia at the lords merchandise shop
S. D.
Lovely ground, fantastic staff who are helpful, pleasant and courteous.
Took my wife and 2 sons to watch The Hundred, managed to see the womens game which was brilliant but the mens was rained off but that did not stop us thoroughly enjoying the day.
We cant wait to go back
J. D.
Great Spirit of Cricket lecture by Stephen Fry. Watch it on YouTube. He doesn't dodge the difficult issues of racism.
R. 2.
I've been here for county games, experienced the tour and nets with Mike Gatting which was excellent, but the best visit was the World Cup Final. What a match and what a venue!
B. R.
The home of cricket - weather ruined the men's hundred match, but got to see the womens one. Lots of food choices but fairly long lines - pasty one the quickest. Lots of water fountains and the bars move quickly - staff friendly and prices as expected for Lords - the local beer well worth the price. You can take your own food and drink in - the deli near the ground is worth stopping at for a DIY picnic.
V. D.
Lord's Cricket Ground, commonly known simply as Lord's, is a cricket venue in St John's Wood, London.
K. C.
A fan of cricket will always tour the home of cricket. It has so many history. James was our guide and he is so funny and is amazing in telling the details. Person who is a fan of cricket will sure visit the place.
W. B.
Fantastic experience. Would go again. Big thanks to the stewards very helpful
M. D. G.
Great views from the new Upper Compton stand though better to be nearer the front than the back. Very convenient toilets on the same floor and two bars. Unfortunately there was a water problem in the toilets when i went, though hopefully this is just an early teething complication. My constant gripe, though, is that there is not a good selection of ales.
m. g.
Went for finals of cricket one hundred. Great show and great atmosphere. Though could have started earlier. But well done to the organisers.
M. J.
Ground is visible from all the stands so don't worry which stand you are buying the tickets, come enjoy your game.
G. d. B.
Really interesting tour. Two guides very knowledgeable. Not really suitable for little children - I'm not sure what they would get out of it. Beware of older cricket-mad men who ask endless questions and hog the photo opportunities.....
K. D.
A truly unforgettable sporting event. Must see once in your life time for any sports fan. I was with some real cricket offinados, making my experience even better.
A. M.
Amezing experience during India vs England test match.. very well organised and managed. I took Lords tour as well and found very nice and informative. I strongly recommend the Lords tour
M. C.
The ground, needless to say is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Stewards and staff very pleasant helpful and approachable.
Signs to ground non-existent so if like me you're not familiar with the area take a map!
Once inside the ground brace yourself for the food & drink prices, they're outrageous. £1.30 for a standard bag of crisps (as at Jun '18). Take your own! (Which you're able to do!)
Also take care with the seats you buy. I sometimes buy seats for a Lge1 football team. There is a comprehensive map on website and a picture showing you your likely view. None of this was available on the Lords website. (Why?) - I bought top price tickets and ended up with an unannounced restricted view - see pic, the concrete on right obscured a large part of pitch. Not on for a £50 ticket, unless it's advised before you buy. Very underhand Lords.
V. J.
Went to get vaccine today! Very long queue but it was great to be at the famous Lords cricket grounds! 🏏 So wonderful to visit this venue once more! I worked there about 26 years ago and it brought such amazing moments of the great banqueting suite!
Z. H.
Lord's home of cricket has a different vibe
Loved it
S. A.
Loved the atmosphere at the headquarters of cricket. Great views but the museum was a big let down. Even parking available nearby
P. F.
I love watching cricket here. T20 and international games have plenty of entertainment in the nursery area.
T. B. (.
Stunning ground and facilities. We had a work event here and we were looked after very well by the staff here. The food was excellent. I would recommend lords for work events and meetings. Staff were amazing!
K. K.
Most beautiful cricket ground.
Ground Features are:-
As of 2021, the stands at Lord's are (clockwise from the Pavilion)
Many of the stands were rebuilt in the late 20th century. In 1987 the new Mound Stand, designed by Michael Hopkins and Partners, was opened, followed by the Grand Stand, designed by Nicholas Grimshaw, in 1996.The Media Centre, opposite the Pavilion between the Compton and Edrich Stands, was added in 1999. Designed by Future Systems, it won the Royal Institute of British Architects' Stirling Prize for 1999. The redevelopment of the Compton Stand and Edrich Stands was completed in 2021, adding 2,600 seats and bringing the ground capacity to 31,100 spectators. The two ends of the pitch are the Pavilion End (south-west), where the main members' pavilion is located, and the Nursery End (north-east), dominated by the Media Centre.
A. B.
Went for India versus England, 12th Aug, test match day 4, rain stopped play twice, but still amazing vibes!!
P. M.
Great place to watch cricket, fantastic weather and vibe. I would recommend to a friend
F. T.
Lords is Lords, very well kept stadium with history every where - from the pictures all around to the staff everything shows culture.
I was exceptionally lucky to watch the world cup final 2019 there.
S. V.
Really nice experience today watching England vs India Test Match. Nice ground, good atmosphere, helpful stewards, lots of food options.
S. T.
Great place, it's Lord's after all. New stands look great, but be prepared that if you're sitting in the wrong place the media centre will block your view of some of the playing surface
D. B.
An amazing experience. The grounds are stunning and can only imagine what the vine is like when there is a game on. The construction will hopefully be complete by the time the season starts. 👍🏻
R. E.
Best cricket ground i have been to. great experience watching Pakistan Vs South Africa on 23rd June (World Cup).
Z. G.
Good match
Middlesex won against Sussex
T. R.
Arrived for the last day of the 2nd Ashes test match, well signed from St John's Wood tube station, marshalls with boards pointing you in the right direction. Security on entry checking any bags and quick body pat down - better to be safe etc. Good food outlets - serving fish and chips, burgers and lots more, bars and coffee available. Raining when we first arrived so sheltered under cover till it had eased off, very busy by this time we were kept informed of what time play would begin. Atmosphere was incredible. Toilets were close by, plenty for the ladies - which makes a change - very clean. Look forward to attending another cricket match in the future.
R.
Test Cricket at Lords is an event not to be missed. Quintessential English. Great location and the food and drink on offer while not cheap (and not overly expensive either) is of good quality considering you’re at a Sporting event.
M. T.
Heaven on earth - hospitality here is top class, been for many ashes series, India, Sri Lanka, NZ and 50 over / 20 domestic stuff all top draw. Paddock on the side a great feature.
M. W.
Utterly gorgeous grounds, great facilities and hospitality. Staff are polite, warm, friendly and gracious - not here for the cricket as sadly no game today, but honestly, i will come back :)
M. R.
Such a great place, so many people come together to share that rarest of experiences a constantly balanced test match which achieved a resounding result. Hurrah to all the MCC members in their elaborate uniforms who mix with everybody by the fifth day. A wondrous meeting of minds.
D. M.
What an experience. First experience and sat in Warner stand. Atmosphere fantastic and everyone is so friendly and polite. A wonderful event to be at. Would love to go again.
U. S.
Visiting all the way from houston. Love the ground and the ground staff, lovely people and super helping. Enjoying the Pak vs Ban match today
J. Z.
Impressive, staff polite and helpful, good, clean facilities.
I knocked off a star, because of the price of the food available. £13.50 for a burger and chips!
A. K.
Brilliant 👏place great atmosphere COVID-19 friendly 👍great 👌place for Home 🏡😀👍of cricket 🏏😀ticks all the boxes 📦😀👍👌😄😉
S. M.
The stadium is awesome. Crickrt fan's delight. Considering other stadium tour like Manchester united, Lord's tour cost is costly.
a.
Great food had some spicy chicken and rice. Cricket was alright some stinky people were behind me and a fat drink man was half sitting on my seat for the last innings.
A.
If you are a cricket fan, this is the home of cricket. A must visit if in London and know someone who can get you match tickets as a guest of an MCC member. Great ground, atomsphere, facilities and general cricket buzz. Will return soon.
O. C.
Marylebone Cricket Club
Named after its founder, Thomas Lord,
Lords Cricket Ground is the most beautiful and largest Cricket Ground I have seen in my life, IT'S AMAZING! Love Lords, Love Cricket Forever!
M. M.
Great atmosphere for The Hundred final. Staff were quick to serve beers and snacks. Food kiosks had longer queues but didn't take too long.
M. P.
It is the home of English cricket..u really enjoyed my day apart from it being so hot. Well done on beating Ireland in this test match!!
K. G.
Iconic, got to visit at least once! Lord father time bar is a good watering hole, not too busy during a test.
v. k.

M. K.
Beautiful cricket ground, museum, media centre and spaces are Brilliant 👍
V. R.
Sense of history and occasion is incredible...had loads of fun listening to the wonderful stories and ancedotes. Will definitely come back.
L. S.
For any level of cricket fan, it's a real treat to experience a match here. The grounds are immaculate and the atmosphere is atypical of other stadiums, but it's quintessentially British.
M. P.
If you get a chance must visit the Lords ground. What an experience. History of Cricket.
D. T.
Always had a good time at Lords, amazing looking venue with a great vibe every time I've been. Easy and efficient access in and out, access to bars and food has always been pretty quick, even during the world cup. I've been lucky enough to watch from the Pavillion once and if you ever get that opportunity take it, you will absolutely love it!
D. P.
If you are even a mild cricket fan, a visit to the home of cricket is a must. It's possible to get tickets relatively cheaply for games like county T20 (Middlesex is the home team). You can bring in your own food and drinks including alcohol, plus the food options are quite good for stadium foods.
C. G.
Two beer limit per person made it really awkward for our group of three to do rounds and they ran out of beer at the main bars. Very nice server at the craft beer stand saved it.
g. b.
Amazing place, the home of cricket, not the library everyone talks about, the hum was palpable, easy 5 minute walk fron St Johns Wood tube station, dont drive there, padded seats too, great place to watch, food and drink are good, toìlets clean , but gets really busy....staff also friendly
B. W.
Most beautiful cricket ground in the world
S. T.

R. N.
Great cricket match the women's World Cup final at the home of cricket. Amazing ground and facilities 👌🏻👍🏻

This is called the makka of cricket
Many historical matches played here.
This ground has seen many historical moments.
But the weather plays Hide and seek here.
You can't say anything about UK's weather. 😅
A. C.
Was a good tour, very historic. The pavilion, the ground, the dressing room, the writing room and the museum, all good. We all loved it...
P. C.
Absolutely brilliant day! So excited about being at the Home of cricket and where all these cricketing legends walked on to the pitch from!
A. R.
Its always so nice to look into the rich traditions of cricket. 1 star down coz no food options available or the restos were closed during the public tours!!
C. V.
Excellent place to be for cricket fans
You can see UK cricket history well maintained.
Loved the experience
n. b.
Love Lords! The home of cricket. Plenty of water fountains, friendly stewards and security greatm seating is best in the covered sections like endrich.
A. N.
Lord's - the Home of Cricket. The world's most famous cricket venue, hosts international and and first-class matches with the finest hospitality. Lord's is also available as a venue to hire for your event, meeting, product launch, exhibition or more.
B. M.
I visited Lords cricket ground in Dec 2018 as a tourist holding tourist pass.
It was my dream come true moment. Since my childhood I had admired the stadium in television. The moment I saw in real, I got real goosebumps.
I wish, I should visit the stadium again in my life time while a match is going on.
But any which ways, I had a complete view on the entire stadium in out out.
I had visited the Lord's Museum too. You could find some items for sale too ( which may not be available any where out ). Please visit to museum too if you get a chance to visit the Lord's stadium.
P. T.
Experience the best feeling of "Cricket". Here the history "Roar"🏏✨
I. J.
Just a wonderful place to watch cricket. The Pavilion is the best place to watch from but the views from elsewhere are excellent, especially from the recently rebuilt Warner Stand.
R. P.
1st trip too Lords. Surrounded by Pakistan supporters. Atmosphere was fantastic
I. C.
Scampi and chips were reasonable quality, beer not too pricey, the ground itself is now wonderful although tickets a bit expensive
K. M.
Lovely grounds, well maintained and they have interactive tours available too!
K. P.
The home of cricket is special ground to visit and always lives upto its reputation. Everything inside and out is preciously maintained.
A. R.
Came here to watch The Hundred Game. The atmosphere was fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful and they have food and drink stalls.

Home of cricket - the Lord's cricket ground. Die hard fan or a normal person who loves and watch cricket can't miss this out to visit this stadium if you are in London

V. G.
Superbly well organised for the India Test Match
A. A. P. (.
I visited here on 29th June to see Australia vs New Zealand World Cup 2019 match. My first ever experience of watching a sport live in stadium was so awesome i had one of the best seats in the Compton Stand - Bronze. The best moment was seeing Trent Boult getting first hattrick ever at Lords in a World Cup Match. I also met former Australia world cup winner Damien Fleming who was sitting in row ahead of us. Plenty of places to watch the match also if you want to have lunch there was big screen outside of the stand bit.
S. T.
I have been watching this ground on TV since childhood and it's as amazing as it seems on TV .
Must visit place in london whether you are cricket fan or not.
S. M.
One of the must see attractions in London and specially if a cricket lover. The ambience is totally different from all other cricket stadiums around the world.MCC museum is an extra bonus for the spectators.
T. K.
Be careful with those upper Compton restricted view tickets. We managed to move across a couple of seats and had a great view. A top day.
M. S.
Really grest stadium with a great environment, would recommend going if you are a cricket fan
T. P.

Once in a lifetime experience!!
S. C.
Took the Lord's guided tour! Detailed description, fantastic views of the field, well-organised and with standard Covid protocols.
T. B.
Great place with loads of history. An interesting experience even when there is no cricket!
The tour guide was really friendly and had loads of anecdotes and involved even those who weren't into cricket.
Easy to get to with good transport links. A must see for any world cricket fans!
C.
Watched a match here a few months back, great atmosphere. Loved it.
R. R.
Plenty of room to move about.Much to see and do. Great organisation
.A good three days of cricket but much more.
M. S.
Very outdated. I appreciate the nostalgic value, but the scorecard need being digital on the big screen not manual. Seats could be more confortable. Other than that, great ground. This is 2019 not 1975.
S. H.
Amazing experience & atmosphere as always, along with the beautiful British Summer Weather....
A. C.
Far better than my home ground at the Oval. Toilets are cleaner, staff are trained, beer is cheaper, queues are shorter, seats are more comfy.
K. S.
Was there to see "Ashes - Second Test - Day 5" and to witness Archer bowling and Strokes 100..
D. L.
Fantastic day! The first time my wife had been to the cricket, and she absolutely loved it

Proposals are being developed to increase capacity and amenity.[4] As of December 2013, it was proposed to redevelop the ground at a cost of around £200 million over a 14-year period.[5]
The current ground celebrated its two hundredth anniversary in 2014. To mark the occasion, on 5 July an MCC XI captained by Sachin Tendulkar played a Rest of the World XI led by Shane Warne in a 50 overs match.Acting on behalf of the White Conduit Club and backed against any losses by George Finch, 9th Earl of Winchilsea and Colonel Charles Lennox, Thomas Lord opened his first ground in May 1787 on the site where Dorset Square now stands.[7] The White Conduit moved there from Islington soon afterwards and reconstituted themselves as Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC).[8] In 1811, feeling obliged to relocate because of a rise in rent, Lord removed his turf and relaid it at his second ground.
J. K.
Better than the WACA not as good as Optus Stadium. But who cares? It's Lords, the home of cricket and all that matters is what happens in the middle.
S. N.
Lovley cricket ground historical ground my dream to go in watch match I am Successful
J. B.
Tour around the long room, cricket museum and home team dressing room. Awesome even if you're not a great cricket fan.

Five stars, perfect place to visit and a must visit if you are a cricket geek. Visited many times, always a pleasure to visit the place. Highly recommend the tour if your are a first time visitor. Worth seeing the historic city as well as ground. Try to reach early as every thing quickly closing before evening. Try to choose the well good summer day to enjoy
G. H.
Loved the 100. Great new stand but spoilt by the sidescreen which severely limits the view when seated. Why not make it see-through?
C. D.
Everyone was great full for getting the vaccine it was a good atmosphere. Thanks to all the staffs and people that's makes the effort to a bright future for us all. Thanks to God mostly. Thank you to all. We have trade in our sorrow for hope, that's is faith.
M. J.
Go there and you will not regret... though there are other grounds which are also good , Lord's has a nostalgic feel when you are into cricket..

It's currently closed although there is a flurry of activity on the grounds presumably to get it ready for the up and coming games.
It is really a magnificent ground , even driving up to it and peering though the closed gates, imagining the ashes being won by magnificent bowling.
Anyway if you get a chance to go a game ...DO NOT pass that up!

Visited Lord's as a Covid vaccine centre... The people were lovely & friendly. There were hardly any people waiting for the shot. I visited around midday/Wednesday. Kind staff & volunteers. Quick, efficient & had easy access for all.
N. D.
Amazing Lord's tour during the English summer. Must do for cricket lovers.
M. A.
Ah the joy of cricket. An experience like no other. Just buy your food beforehand, the queues are horrible and the queue-ers almost certainly half drunk, haha
N. G.
A fantastic place. Toilet facilities were cleaned frequently and the selection of kiosks for food and drinks was impressive and, whilst pricey, not extortionate for the venue.
K. B.
Modern cricket stadium, very reasonable prices for food and drink. Only problem is the new stand blocks the sun meaning play is called off for bad light frequently.
R. S.
Staying at Mumbai but always dreaming to visit Lord's stadium, London. Dreams come true.
A. S.
If you're a cricket fan, you must go here at least once. Fantastic atmosphere and very friendly and knowledgeable crowd
D. L.
Not much to say that others haven't already, but a great cricket group steeped in history
D. K.
First time.at a cricket match, pretty easy to get to by tube, general admission tickets to a 'county' game. I asked a British fan a few questions about the game, and he helped this Yank out.
A. K.
It is an amazing tour. The guides, staff, all are really helpful. It is very informative as well. The guests are allowed to visit a shop at the end of the tour which has many types of souvenirs like caps, shirts, balls, pens, etc..😊🏏
G. B.
Great experience. Pretty well organised in ground. Good atmosphere amongst all fans. Good food from the stalls in the grounds.
C. T.
The home of cricket. Period.
So long as the sun is shining when the cricket is on, you wont be disappointed. Great seating and viewing facilities. Good catering and watering holes around the ground. Don’t forget to bring a bottle of vino or bubbles to this one as it is the only venue of it’s kind in the world that allows this! I will be back for the next round of Ashes here.

Any cricket lover won't miss this place
Cricket ground accompline with small collection hall
E. A.
The home of cricket - but not amazing when England aren't playing... Still worth a day out though!
D. G.
Nice ground, lots of history, option of drinking tea instead of actually having to watch cricket.
h. m.
Great atmosphere and very well managed. Loved the day spent there (3rd day of 2nd England vs India test)
G. A.
An absolute treat for cricket fans.. too much history and elegance in the place
A. P.
Marvellous. If you are a cricket fan and in London, then it's a must visit
C. P.
Had a fantastic day. Facilities excellent. Didn't think we were being ripped off at the food concessions. Cricket was great as well.

Referred to as the Home of Cricket.Where dreams are made... “Mecca of cricket” the first officially built ground for the game of cricket in 1814.

I have visited the Lord's tour twice and each time I come back learning more about the game and the home of Cricket! It is a wonderful place to connect with the history of the game and also get really close to the memories associated with those who created the history. The tour lasts for 100 minutes and takes you through the grand pavilion, the media centre, and the East stands, each providing you opportunities to take pictures and soak in the moments. The tour guides are always knowledgeable and make sure they tell you stories that you would love to hear about the team you support.
If you are a cricket lover, this is the first place that should be on your bucket list when you visit London! Worth every pound and minute you spend there.
S. R.
If you are a cricket fan, this is THE place to be! Just enjoy the Iconic views and the experience!
R. M.
Stadium Ambiance was good. No restrictions for food and drinks and so you can literally enjoy
S. B.
Awesome atmosphere as always... don't take any flags though as they are not allowed and confiscated at the entrance ( they give it back when you leave)
T. S.
Excellent player dinning experience tour. Can not fault anything
S. N.
One of the most special places in London, the home of cricket. Amazing people, atmosphere, history.
S. M.
The mecca of cricket lovers. Our guide was knowledgeable and his animated anecdotes and trivia brought the place alive.
M. R. P.
Enough numbers of volunteers were there... one of the best looking stadium I've ever seen.
J. B.
Home of cricket. Best experience to watch a match live here
c. t.
Good seating, Great view. Very organised entry sytem. glance in bag and wafting arms around body not really security though.
V. B.
Great place to enjoy cricket.. some nice beers and food to add to the setting
L. P.
First time. Test match Vs India. Warner stand ... Brilliant. Will definitely be back.
S.
Home of cricket. What's not to like. Better to sit on the upper decks if possible for better view. Sitting on the back in the covered stands restricts the view.
N. R.
Lords hall of fame is must visit place.... dressing room is classic old look and balcony view is terrific
T. S.
Great venue, good support staff around the ground. Someone even (dressed in red) offered to take our picture.
L. C.
The museum, the history, the staff, the access and the price of beer all fantastic. Cricket team..not so much!
F. C.
The greatest Cricket ground in the world. Never disappoints unlike the England team!
P. J.
You don't have to be a big cricket fan to enjoy the atmosphere and character of Lords. Just stunning in so many ways. To think this 100+ year old stadium is in the middle of London - wow! Just wow. Felt spectacular. Really enjoyed the experience!
A. C.
This is the world's most iconic cricket stadium. Busy on a T20 Blast evening but well marshalled and if you accept that it will take a little while to get in from and longer to get out to the Underground Stations it's a great experience. Seats are comfortable and there are good views around the ground as well as 3 large screens to watch replays of key events and to keep in touch with the scores. You're allowed to take in food and drinks (the amount of alcohol per person is limited) or you can use the on site catering. I found it to have a friendly atmosphere with families, groups of friends and work colleagues meeting up for and enjoying the match and the party atmosphere. Highly recommended as an evening out.
A. S.
It's a dream come true for any cricketer to visit or play at lords stadium. The feeling of being there is beyond words . Would really love to go there for Ashes or India vs England tests. Museum has a great collection of cricket stuff. The knowledge of tour guide is really amazing.A must visit place if you travel to London.
R. S.
The most iconic cricket Stadium of the world. This is the birth place of cricket. Interior of the Stadium is very large in size. Gallery seat is very comfortable. Washroom facilities is good.Staff and security management is also excellent.Scoreboard system and in house wide screen LCD display make watching cricket in ground joyful and pleasant experience.
J. B.
Iconic home of cricket, much updated over the near 60 years I've been going there. It has good points and not so good but I have no complaints. Only visit when it's relatively quiet these days so many of the outlets are closed and seating is easy to find. Really wouldn't want to be there for the more raucous occasions when I suspect real cricket fans would find it a bit of a trial. Just not like the good old days when people were respectful and more interested in the match than themselves.
M. D.
Good views and facilities. Ridiculous queues on first day of test match with poor organisation. Hopefully better organised on other days.
P. W.
Lords is unique and such a special place. Even if you don't like cricket the history and atmosphere make it worth a visit.
H. W.
It’s the home of cricket, so that’s five stars. If it wasn’t the home of cricket, it’s be three stars — it’s a pretty old place with facilities that are stuck in the 70s
Z. H.
cricket isn't really my first choice on where to spend my weekdays but visiting the lords is just awesome. quite pricey but all worth it. the atmosphere is lively and amazing and the staff are kind. one of them was even thoughtful enough to take me and a couple members of my family around the ground as a tour. high quality security so nothing to worry about. definitely spend a few more days out there
S. B.
An Amazing place, very professional Ground, Stunning..
D. C.
It's well maintained, clean toilets despite being busy match days, different food options, but really long lines for each place.
U. W.
Amazing grounds, great location and they let you bring your own drinks.
A. K.
I love being at the home of cricket. So much history. It's a privilege to be here
M. I.
It is the best cricket stadium in the world. The hospitality, service and ground is just top notch. Loved my tour here back in 2018
A. C.
Fantastic experience. Went for afternoon tea and mini tour. Staff friendly and helpful. If you love cricket and afternoon tea this is an experience not to be missed.
K. F.
THE home of Cricket. Went for the players dining experience. The food was spectacular. The experience was wonderful. Full tour included along with a goodie bag at the end. The guides / managers / stewards are brilliant. Happy to answer any questions at all. I went on my birthday and every single staff member wished me a happy birthday. They also gave me a mini birthday cake along with dessert. Can't fault one second of my experience. Recommended for everyone. Worth very penny.

Amazing Day 5 entertainment of test match cricket for Ind vs Eng in 2021
D. R.
Great day out. Plenty of helpful staff. Great access to bars.
Good foods although pricey x
V. V.
Lovely, historical place and lower mound stand has excellent views with Minor seating issues ( you can't exit easily and disturb entire row if seated in middle)
U. B.
Came here to watch Pakistan play against South Africa in World Cup 2019. Great atmosphere!
J. A.
It's a beautiful place, full of history and the home of cricket. It's not a high tech/modern stadium nor does it aspire to be one but if you want to visit purely for the love of cricket, then you'll enjoy it.
The seat numbers are so bizarre. In one Column, you'd expect all the seats to be the same number (e.g. 23) but it jumps from 23 to 46 to 16 randomly. Without a stewards help, it's quite difficult to find your seat and impossible when most of the spectators are in
A.
If you love Cricket, you already understand the magic of Lords. If you've never been, come and experience the magic. It's special
J. P.
Great day out at the #Red for Ruth day
R. M.
Called the home of cricket for good reason. A glorious place, especially in the Sun.
J. P.
A great tour around the home of cricket
D. S.
It was awesome. Nice match, good weather, great atmosphere
M. J.
The home of cricket 😊. Welcoming and friendly. Good views of the pitch from pretty much anywhere you sit. Reasonably priced too.
We usually go to at least one of the T20 games a year which are packed out with a complete mix of families and groups of friends. Lots of kids there who all seem to love the fun and music 🎶
E. J.
Always great to visit somewhere to watch England win! A lovely atmosphere respecting the history of the ground
A. S.
The home of English cricket and what a game the ICC Cricket World Cup final was. Congrats England!
J. S.
Great place to take a stadium tour for two hours. Get to know many historical moments. Obviously more info on Ashes series. Just visited two days before ICC World Cup 2019. There was one cup from women's team. Since England won(though umpires bad decision costs NZ team) the cup, there should be two now. This story should have added in guides agenda ;). Overall great place for cricket lover's
A. D.
Pilgrimage of Cricket 🏏 if you are Indian you will feel Sachin Sachin Sachin here :)
S. A.
It is truly the Home of Cricket. Every true Cricket fan should experience the atmosphere at least once. Although the rows of seats are narrow when compared with other stadiums, they are cushioned. The best part of the seating is covered protecting the viewers.
L. D.
Interesting afternoon visiting the grounds and hearing stories on cricket.
J. D.
If you have ever had any interest in cricket, visit Lords. I have been many times on match days but was lucky enough to go last Saturday on a tour around the ground, pavilion, museum and media centre. The guide was brilliant, full of stories (possibly embellished) and knowledgeable on all sorts of cricket related history. Even on a cold, damp Saturday afternoon (could have been a test match day!!) the ground is fascinating.
A. R.
There's no place better to watch a game of cricket. The facilities there are excellent with a good choice of food outlets.
J. M.
Guided tour by in house guides. Strick with timings but it is worth it for cricket enthusiasts.

What isn't to like about Lord's if you are a cricket fan?
Have visited for all forms of the game and the tour and every time I've been the experience hasn't disappointed.
On match days the queues of people can be long but they move along at a fair pace, so you never feel like you've been waiting too long.
Seating from all around the ground provides a great view, although the size of the ground means you can feel further away from the action when compared to the likes of The Oval. Not that that should be considered a negative as the atmosphere has always been brilliant.
The tour is a must for any cricket fan. Great to take a stroll around areas that only the players usually get to. Highlight has got to be seeing all the paintings of previous greats of the game and waving from the famous balcony. Might be useful to know there are a fair amount of stairs to navigate during the tour. Guide was super informed and able to answer any questions sent in his direction. Top stuff!

The home of cricket. Having visited Lords a number of times over the last 15 years I can say that my experience is of a steadily improving experience. This time a friend and I had tickets for the third day off the Ashes test which ended up being delayed due to train just before lunch. The tickets for Ashes test matches are not cheap due to the increased demand, but if fewer than 15 overs are bowled in the day you can claim a full refund and if there are between 15 & 30 overs bowled you can claim 50% of the entry price. On this occasion there were 24.1 overs so I will be putting in a claim.
The facilities in the ground are very good, plenty of places to get food or drink and there appears to be a consistent pricing, so all head and coffees were the same price across different outlets. This is not too day there are no queues as there will be peeks on demand when play stood for lunch or tea and you can expect to have to wait a little at these times.
The stewards are in evidence from when you approach the ground and they offered plenty of assistance to those who needed it. They're was a full bag search and body search on entry to the ground so don't bring in anything sharp. You can bring in some alcohol, enough for personal consumption, but there is plenty to purchase if you don't want to carry drinks around London.
I am sure to be heading back at some point and look forward to getting a full day's play in next time.

Awsome place and people, bit of history here also Great place for a cricket game 🏏
