Reviews of Queen's Club
P. W.
Nicely presented facilities for the Cinch Championships. No shade for the seating on a hot sunny day. Be prepared or burn.
W. M.
Wow. If you have an opportunity to enter as a guest you will be amazed!!! Facilities are fantastic and the atmosphere is unique. Tennis courts well kept and restaurant is out of this world. One of the best places in London!
A.
A warm up for Wimbledon but you can't take anything away from this lovely tennis tournament in London. Well organised and every seat offers a great view on the matches. Prices aren't bad either
J. B.
Fever Tree ATP 500 tennis championships are always a highlight of my year .. unfortunately not much play during my 2 days visiting this year and the tournament isn't geared up to so many thousands of people trying to stay dry and buy food and drinks .. long queues and nowhere to sit and drink it anyway! No wheelchair review as I haven't supported anyone there but I did observe staff supporting people to different areas and making sure there was room inside for them to stay dry ..
I. m.
Excellent visit here, the usual over inflated prices apply but if you look around the many sponsors in attendance can keep you in free pineapples, Quorn, Cereal Bars, Strawberries & cream, Tonic Water & even Champagne. A great venue to watch the tennis even from the very back row of the temporary stand. Barons Court or West Kensington tube stations are nearby & both will get you there within 5/10 minutes of the station.
f. g.
an experience you must do at least once in your life... attending the Queen's men final.
the location is outstanding! starting from the path that takes you from the tube's station till the Queen's gates you slowly by slowly feel the adrenaline raising.
the courts are exactly what I have been watching on TV for yearsss!
Y. S. H. (.
Another glorious day at The Queen's Club. We got the semifinals tickets and because the wether in the previous days, many games were playing on the day. Definitely worth the ticket price. For someone hasn't been to here before, a centre court ticket would be a great experience.
N. D.
A beautiful venue to watch tennis on a hot summers day. Take a picnic, get a jug of Pimms and sit back, relax and soak up the sights and sounds of a quintessential British scene. It has a relaxed atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Lots of London wannabe socialites to gawp at whilst wandering around the grounds.
If you can’t get along to Wimbledon it’s a great alternative.
m. p.
We are working out at the moment and we are building for new tennis courts which should be a great improvement for the club
V. M.
Amazing how they set up for this event. The bathrooms were impressively clean but the food/beer tents were under staffed and not well organised. Saw some great tennis.
P. M.
Excellent meals and service in dining area with tables nicely spaced to allow confidential discussion.
S. C. A.
Worth a visit if you can't get or afford Wimbledon tickets. You can see quite a few of the higher ranked players in this tournament. A bit naff the consignment store closed as soon the main matches were done so if you wanted to avoid dealing with packages don't leave till end of day.
C. K.
The top member's rackets sports club in the world. Always well worth a visit to play, watch or just eat.
K. K.
We has a family Sunday lunch, beautiful need to be a members, gorgeous place to see
R. S.
Due to covid restrictions we had no one sitting either side, in front or behind us, so the atmosphere was muted. If you come by car, there is ample street parking, but you have to pay online. It's approximately £5 per hour. Download the Ringo app before you go and add your vehicle.
P. S.
It is such a special club to belong to. Everything about the club is so special. I could not recommend it more.
S. D.
Some great courts to play on. Also great place to visit during the Fevertree cup.
M. W.
Great venue unfortunately because of covid restrictions our tickets were not valid for this year so held over to next year. Looking forward to going next year as not been able to go for two years now.
A. K.
Fantastic place to start the summer of sports in London. Although a bit expensive in terms of ticketing, you get to watch matches of high rank players from close proximity.
V. M.
Gym is always nice. New ventilation system has been introduced. Hopefully things will go back to normal soon, so we can use the club to its full potential.
M. K.
Interesting place. Invited by a friend for lunch on a Sunday. Pouring outside and teeming inside.
Reminded me of the Delhi Gymkhana Club. Had a nice fish and Primitivo. Dessert was also nice. The best was the service. With so many people easy to get frazzled but all the serving.staff were all smiles.
J. R.
Members only club that provide the quality of service you expect
D. C.
Great venue and facilities. Well organised given the current situation. Felt comfortable with the 25% capacity.
C. K.
It's Queen's. I saw some tennis. It was nice to be able to do so. Food and alcohol prices extortionate, as expected at these kind of events.
G. K.
Really good club shop. Lovely place. Privilege to be here.
S. S.
Had an amazing time here in the summer of 2017. All of the seats seem to offer an amazing view even if you're sat quite far away from the courts. A recommended event to attend for any tennis fan. As a fussy eater, it was quite difficult for me to find anything to eat but other than that, everything was wonderful.
P. C.
Quintessentially English tennis experience. Posher than Wimbledon and easier to get tickets
S. G.
Always love the tennis but nowhere dry to shelter if it rains and no seating round any of the outside courts except Court 1. Previous layout much more conducive.
B. B.
Great day at Queens Club. Cameron Norrie a name to watch in the future.
S. H.
Never been but always wanted to. This is a lovely club in the heart of London. Staff were friendly and well organised and there were loads of places to get food and drink. Be warned, it is expensive so you might want to get some and bring it in. Lovely clean toilets and easy access to the grounds.
G. S.
Love the place. I went there to watch the Cinch final and it was really amazing
D. K. C.
Beautiful historic tennis club with with some of the best grass courts in the world. The club house has a beautiful traditional decor style with photos of past and present tennis greats. The restaurant and bar is also quite lovely with good food and welcoming staff.
S. S.
A really intimate setting to see the big names in men's tennis at the pre-Wimbledon championship here. Definitely less of a mix in the crowd than at the Grand Slam itself, as it seemed to be almost exclusively upper class here. Still a nice setting and very close to the tube, so easy to get there on the day.
W. J.
Really amazing facilities, coaches and food. There are loads of incredible courts, which there is normally a space on. There is normally lots of parking space and it is really conveniently located near Barons Court tube station. Reception is always very helpful and useful.
P. A.
Well organised and safe in these difficult times, good days tennis, beautiful weather.
P. a. P. T.
A well organized tennis tournament with easy access from Barons Court underground station. Sitting high up on court 1 allows viewing over practice courts for extra viewing. Refreshments not cheap (Pimms = £8), but bring your own picnic - no glass bottles.
r. d.
Good grass courts, amazing clubhouse and facilities.
i. b.
The tennis was excellent!
The catering, snacks and drinks are expensive and the queuesare very long.
If you enjoy tennis it is a must. Easier to get tickets than for Wimbledon!
F. R.
Good tennis play here every year ATP tournament. The centre court seat are plastic with an ok view and the all venue is only a provisional one when hosting the event. Well organised and nice cooffe and food. Good shope and staff.
N. M.
Probably the best tennis club in the world! But it suffers from the same problems all the best golf clubs are struggling with. It's run by and for our most privileged individuals and families to access. That said, what a beautiful place to play tennis and socialise.
B. H.
Lovely little venue for the tennis fans among us
I. G.
Great time watching the final. seats in the stands are incredibly uncomfortable if you are 6ft 3. No leg room. Good choice of for and drink available.
R. B.
Wonderful in its heyday. Now has the feel of a car park with a tennis club tacked on as an afterthought (couldn't the staff manage the walk from the tube station?). Such is the power of the corporate £ i suppose.
a. w.
This tennis club has everything tennis players could wish for. Grass courts beautifully manicured, & a great clubhouse & restaurant. Although I should imagine the members fees are quite hefty!
K. H.
World class tennis club with well groomed grass courts, quality tennis shop, facilities for changing/ showers/ sauna/ steam room/ bar and restaurant.
A fine bar and restaurant serving a good range of food, cocktails, and extensive wine list. On rainy days and gloomy cold winter days, there are also indoor hard courts for you to practice your serve or simply having a go with your host (it's a members only club but one can be a guest of a club member on a few occasions per annum).
If sliding on a slow surface takes your fancy, you can also experience clay court action outdoors.
Strict dress code of all white outfits & predominantly white shoes should be adhered to, in respect of the club's rules. The summer time barbeque evenings are worth making a date, but the main draw is still booking yourself a minimum 2 hours of grass court action from May to October, on any given sunny days.
T. V. B.
Great place to watch some grass courts tennis, just before Wimbledon starts. Throughout the year it is open to private club members. Unsure how local people can join or use the facilities.
S. M.
One of the best and well maintained… they have outstanding staff.., who are very friendly and warm
J. C.
Important Tennis Sport Club
Nice Area
Good Public Transport Around
Near Central London
K.
A very nice venue to watch Queens Tennis. You can get a nice glass of champagne from the bar. The staff are very attentive and helpfull. The venue is spotlessly clean
h. s.
Never been here but for watching on TV looks lovely & hoping to go there some time.
C. C.
Dusty old bastion of tradition for the elite and those aspiring to it.
Why 3 stars? Because such is the need of many to be seen to be accepted by "the establishment" that they will out up with shoddy surroundings and are content to have a precious place in the waiting list for full membership where you have to be seconded. Good for keeping out the rif raf eh? I just went for my good friends engagement. I wish the very best for the future and to always make his lovely wife feel special as she deserves.
R. H.
Amazing tournament, can't wait till next year.
M. J.
Wonderful place for private parties and office space. Mainly it’s a members club, largely dedicated to Tennis. However still have great spaces for hire.
S. S.
Had a great time watching Nadal play here one year. During the rest of the year it's an elitist gentleman's club but if you walk down the road to North End road, you can't blame them for keeping their doors locked tightly.
A. G.
Very well organised and great sport and sporting on show
J. F.
Participated in an amateur tennis event and dinner here. Staff and facilities were outstanding. Not a member but suspect the stiff waiting list and fees are worth it.
P. S.
Visited on two occasions a few years back. Excellent staff, food and service, and as much racquet sports history as probably anywhere in the world. If you have the opportunity, don't miss it.
G. T.
Great experience, good food.
I. C.
Really close to the court, good view, well organized
c. S.
Was working here and the place is a lovely place
w. f.
A great tournament, intimate and English.
I love the reverse snobbery always angled at such events. Let them just get on with it, bitterness and jealousy is a very sour pill.
s. a.
First time here.but what a fantastic day.all very well organised and fantastic food and drink everywhere. Highly recommend to go.all staff happy to help very friendly
C. L.
The tennis was amazing and we got to see Andy Murray in action with his doubles partner Feliciano Lopez what a great that was
M. B. I. a.
Be sure the seats you book have a good view but otherwise world class tennis 🎾 in a nice venue.
L. H.
Great atmosphere had a brilliant day
G. G.
I've been although not to play tennis but to observe. A really smart clean and welcoming club
J. B.
Great place to visit for the annual championship tennis. Food and drink is rather expensive. Don't forget the sunscreen.
J. L.
A Great Place to See Old Guys Win
D. F.
With the sponsorship now in the hands of Fever tree I have to say it works well, decent gin and tonics whilst watching 4 chaps battle it out, super, I say!

H. Y.
I visited this club as a guest believe me you can get much more for what they charge for.. trey to look for dimmer other clubs before you take any membership with ant club
S. N.
Great if you are into tennis, but was under a rebuild outside and looked like a building site. (Jun 2017)
