Reviews of Rileys Sports Bar Victoria
S. B.
Really like this place. Only ever go once a year to play snooker when in London for the Masters. Nice and relaxed and really friendly. Could do with a little investment in some new rests and accessories. 😁
H. R.
Popped here to watch the football and have a bite to eat. Were served at the bar by an Irish man (forgot to get his name) who was clearly in his first few days of working there. Despite this he was super helpful and did his best to get our drinks and process our food order. Definitely an asset to the team! Only food being offered was Pizza which was quite obviously supermarket Chicago town but still was tasty, not expecting Michelin star quality at a sports bar anyway!

I used to spend a hell of a lot of time at a Riley’s pool bar as a youngster, I attended the Victoria branch with a friend and start rekindling my love for the brand. Everybody I encountered on the day where nice, place was clean and tidy, if I was forced to be picky and had to find a negative I’d say I felt maybe a couple of the US pool tables could do be being relayed.
M. W.
Great spot to play pool, was unable to sign up so we had to pay a £3.50 guest fee. Atmosphere was average. I think the music could be better, sad music, this brought down the mood of the place. Was served by jay the young guy…he was fantastic and seemed to be the only staff to smile. Made our night better, he recommend drinks and shots for my partner and I to try. Always checked in on us and made sure we was okay. Great service.
Downside no cocktails!!!

Best place to play pool in London! I'm a self-confessed pool nut and have been to most of the places around but now a regular here - usually once a week. The most important thing for me is the playing condition of the table - playing great since they were all re-cushioned and re-clothed after the lockdown. They're well looked after and you can see they're brushed regularly. I've seen them with the vacuum cleaner out recently too 😁 New look to the place and a good atmosphere - the friendly staff are now doing table service when it's not too busy. Manager Julie runs a tight ship and helps with any re bookings or moving tables (not going to tell you my favourite!). New menu with good pizza and burgers too - get the coleslaw😁
B. c.
Good service from one of the staff, the other seemed a bit vex at having to do something. I'm guessing she cooked the food, as the chicken wings came over cooked and cold. Fries had gone limp as they came cold. So guess what the can skewers came like? It was as if everything was cooked and then, "oh no I forgot the poppers" so it was left for.ten minutes while they cooked. Good venue, plenty tv n the one good member of staff. I give a star each
G. L.
Absolutely in love with this place. The staff is fantastic and make this experience great! A shout to the general manager Julie that always welcome us with a smile :)
R. A. F.
Amazing roast! Delicious but potatoes could have been crispier!
Wine was good but very ver priced.
D. S.
Been to Rileys a while ago the place is really laid back and great for a fun night. The staff were also very nice and helpful. I am definitely going back 10/10.
P. B.
I do enjoy coming here on the odd occasion. Pool tables are clean and well lit. You do not to ensure you check your cue first to see if it is a bit bent or has a loose tip! Drinks a little on the expensive side - £5 for a pint of Strongbow! Other than those negatives, all is good, and they have recently refurbished upstairs in a good way!
I. K.
Decent experience. The games are well set up and the staff are friendly.
Could've done with a touch more variety of beer on tap or in the fridges for me (though that is my preference rather than a damning indictment).
J. H.
Great place for pool/snooker. Only had pizzas available from entire food menu and darts screens not working.
Good place for a me and 2 mates though, just to play a few games and pints/drinks decent
F. W.
On arrival, first thing I noticed was the cleanliness, which would have been apparent even without covid! The whole place is spotless, you can even see streaks on the pool table, which was reassuring. I had an issue with my booking, but even though it was extremely busy, Jacey was extremely kind/compassionate and ensured our birthday surprise wasn’t ruined. She also ensured the food and drinks were okay & also asked throughout the night if we needed any drinks! Really polite and definitely the be at customer service I’ve ever experienced! The food was exceptional, and the drinks were perfect as well as the price, I even asked if the lady was sure that was the total! First time here, and my expectations were completely blown out of the window. So glad we’ve found this hidden gem & will certainly be returning in the future. Huge shoutout to all the staff who were consistently amazing thought out the night, despite being extremely busy. You have the patience I could only dream of! Thank you xx
L. C.
We played pool and darts in the upstairs area. I believe it has been newly refurbished and it was a clean and fresh.
Everything ran well. The staff were very helpful throughout.
B. K.
Went to a staff party and can not compliment the team enough, Rianne. naomi. Daniil, Geraldine. Amazing and i will be back and bring my friends. Thank you Rianne for your hospitality and a great night.
K. M.
I organised a work event at Riley's. Julie and the team were amazing! Very helpful and friendly. We had platters of burgers, pizzas and wings which everyone enjoyed. We also Rico Diks - European Pool Champion - to host the night and he was excellent. It was a great event!
M. Z.
It's a nice bar and a good concept but one staff was having a bad day so it was a bit intimidating. The male staff member was very nice and attentive though. Ordered some nibbles which were alright! Would recommend the jalapeno poppers!
H. M.
Really great sports bar for pool and snooker. All the tables were in great condition, as we're the cues. The place was very clean, and the entire process was quick and painless.
O. R. C.
Nice place to go and have a bit of fun.. 4 stars only as the toilet by the entrance was quite smelly and the food took a very long time to arrive and when it did it was overcooked.. They were short staff so... understandable
S. S.
Great for playing pool/snooker/ darts and the upstairs is clean and atmospheric. Were severely lacking in food and drink range when we went and overall the value for money could be better for both activities and food/drink.
J. M. (.
Absolutely fantastic venue and even better staff. Booked a table for the Scotland vs England game and Julie the manger couldn’t be any more accommodating. Was a brilliant atmosphere with both sets of fans mixing well - the staff were rushed off their feet and still provided a great service. Can’t recommend this venue highly enough. I’ll be back in my kilt as soon as I can 😁
B. R.
I travel over 100 miles to see my friend at Riley’s Victoria we always have a great welcome and Julie the manager is a wonderful host and nothing is too much trouble
A. B.
Went to Riley’s to watch both the Czech and Germany v England games. Was a great atmosphere and environment to watch the match, with great views of screens no matter where was sat. The service was great with the staff very attentive and always checking if wanted any more drinks. Had the chicken burger both times which is surprisingly good. Then it was nice to play darts when the match had ended. Will definitely be back for future England and champions league games
S. P.
played american pool there for years.
good tables, friendly and efficient manager and staff. recommended.
A. j. S.
You can come for a drink but only above 18s are allowed to play pool. Should be written somewhere. (You dont need to be a member btw)
M. K.
It was a fantastic place to go with mates but overpriced. £13.50 ph for pool and more than 5 for a drink.
S. G.
Our group had an enjoyable few hours of pool, coupled up with good customer service, a fair choice of drinks available and all for reasonable value for money; our pool table was also in good condition too.
Only negative point is that it would have been nice if the toilets did not smell as bad and had soap available so patrons can thoroughly wash their hands; also perhaps the management could consider extending/improving the food menu to more than just fried / unhealthy food.
B. B.
Nice tables and friendly staff, had a rowdy stag bunch there whilst playing on the american pool tables which slightly tainted the experience but only because I kept asking them to get out the way ha, not rileys fault. Moved upstairs after and played on some pristine uk pool tables. Haven't been to a pool bar in a good few years so it was a pleasant experience.
A. G.
I had booked a package to go to Riley's to watch the England v Scotland game for the euros, where pool, drinks and food was included. Unfortunately our party ended up not being able to make it and we requested a refund. As the booking was made via 'Design My Night', they were responsible for processing this but it never arrived. Julie from Riley's however was amazing in communicating with me and eventually sorting this issue out, despite the incompetence shown by 'Design My Night'. I'm very thankful to Julie for her help and persistence with the issue.
P. D.
Brilliant night, great place for watching sport, playing darts and pool. The staff were amazing, very quick with drinks orders for the table. Looking forward to watching the next England match there!
K. R.
Its such a beautiful billiard club great customer service and atmosphere great place to having fun with your buddies I highly recommend it
S. V.
Really fun night out and amazing customer service! This is a membership club only but is completely free to subscribe!
F.
Super nice pub hosting the Roma Club London. Billiard and darts are the very cool feature of this place. Slow service affecting food orders
A. N.
Nice place. But very expensive pool games. For 30 minutes you're paying 10£. It's really too much.
J. C.
Went last week and walked in with no booking but the staff were really helpful and got us a spot with the smart darts which was really good fun. Food was great and very well priced, staff kept the drinks flowing and good tunes to get the vibe up.....highly recommend.
W. F.
Very nice place, unfortunately let down by one quite rude member of staff, which is all it takes to ruin a day out.
C. M.
Fantastic Evening Playing their New SMART Darts which self scores and loads of fun games for all levels. We then played pool and had food which wasn’t the plan ended up staying till the place closed.
t. k.
Only snooker Hall around the area, pricy for a game but food and drink are OK for the area, but it looks really nice inside since it's been renovated
C. R. h.
Good sports place to play a few games of pool, snoocer or darts, could maybe do with some sort of ventilation in the pool/snoocer room, it does smell of sweaty men a little bit.
W. L.
Good venue to play snooker and the tables are in excellent condition.
M. G.
Severely understaffed right now (February 2022), food and booze took ages to arrive.
C. N.
I thought it was very good. place to practice and meet new people
P. L. C.
Great Pub, the prices are relatively ok, and the games are great x
R. R.
Decent place for a quiet afternoon game. Equipment satisfactory, costs acceptable. Drinks and snacks available.
M. B.
If you want somewhere to play pool, snooker, darts or anything in between go to this place. It has so many tables and their drink prices are good too. The bar staff come around to the tables and even ask if you need anything. Will definitely go back.
L. K.
We travelled from Cumbria for a concert and decided to play some pool the day after. We found this place on Google and what a great decision it was. We were greeted by Lee who couldn't do enough for us. He sorted our table, food and drinks with an amazing friendly manner. Then we met the Manager, Julie, and she also had really friendly personality and was very pleasant to talk to. We asked to move tables and between them they eventually were able to help us. As far as the pool was concerned, the prices were extremely reasonable and the food was very good. Also there was a waitress who repeatedly asked us if everything was ok.
It's a shame that other establishments dont have staff like this. They are a credit to Rileys. We spent 5hrs here and will definitely be back. Thank you guys.
J. C.
First time visiting. Clean and not loud. I enjoyed the experience.
J. B.
Had a great night at a Riley's. Great atmosphere and spot to play darts and pool and watch some sport. Will definitely be back
A. M.
Great staff, food, beer, vibes. wall to wall sports screens. Doorman was nice too :-) Highly recommend.
D. G.
Worked around here for ages and never had the opportunity to pop in until today, well impressed, lots of pool tables (English and yank) loads of dart boards upstairs.
Only popped in for a pint after work to see what it was like and im well impressed, reasonably priced for the area and really friendly staff, will visit more often when finishing early instead of having a walk to another "local"
L. H.
I'm giving 3 starts only because they have large range of activities what u can do and we had loads of fun otherwise service is extremely slow and food is not great either.
R. C.
1st time visit. Nice place. English and American pool and snooker tables. We played American pool for 2 hours.
A. W.
Christmas do was a blast, there is an upstairs room with pool tables.
Down stairs there is a football table which takes one pound coins.
There are plenty more tables and if you go to the toilets you notice more pool and snooker tables.
Bar staff are friendly but you still have to wait for your drinks especially when some makes a big order. Good music videos on the screen.
T. P.
Excellent viewing and vibe for the Euros and friendly, helpful staff.
Deep fried macaroni balls are a highlight!
S. K.
Good place to watch football, if nothing special. The staff badger you if you sit down without buying a drink and there's a £5 minimum card limit if you're not paying by contactless. It's got darts and pool tables too, but it's definitely not a pub, more a betting shop with big screens and a bar.
P. B.
Perfectly decent place to go and play some pool/snooker. A heck of a lot of tables and enough space to actually play your shots (unlike, say, in a pub). Reasonable selection of drinks and the staff were friendly enough. It's not the most amazing place in the world but for what you want it to be it seemed pretty reasonable.
T. T.
Place is good for darts, snooker, pool and booze. Great atmosphere some nights, and good for watching sports. Avoid the food though - all but the most basic things are expensive and terrible. Result of catering to a relatively captive audience I guess!
M. R.
Watched the euros game here. Great place to watch the sport and chicken burger was 👌🏽Will definitely be back to play snooker downstairs
P.
Lots of tables here, and a bar to get food and a drink. It's pretty standard, but a good number. I've only played snooker here and always booked beforehand to ensure a table, as there are fewer snooker tables I believe, and quite often when I've been most, if not all have been in use. They also have some big TV screens showing sport so you can keep up with how your team is doing while you pot a few balls. I couldn't find the main hall with the tables first time I went there, but that's because they're on the lower level, so you have to walk down a flight of stairs to get to them.
G. D. (.
Drinks were expensive but it is London. It is a shame that Rileys have shut down in places like Lewisham as I would go more often. Good bar service as the lady come to serve us at the pool table. Table was in good condition. Place was tidy and toilets clean. Gold ai conditioning. Please sort the step on the way in as I nearly tripped over.
J. B.
Went there just for a game of snooker with my son while wife and daughter went shopping in Oxford Street. Staff were great. Membership was free. Very clean. Well kept tables. Going again later in year. Recommend this place to any Snooker or pool player.
M. H.
Nice place. Reminiscent to the rileys that used to be available everywhere..
M. H.
If you like hitting balls around on a table with a stick, this isn't a bad place to do it. The have a number of pool tables (both British and American) and some snooker tables. Prices are reasonable, though the place does feel like it could do with a lick of paint.
Top tip: sign up for membership online before you go and it's free. If you sign up to be a member at the desk they charge £3.50. At least that's what the guy on the desk told us.
J. K.
Bar on the ground floor is not very good. During big Euro games they charge £5 entry and give you a bottle of Budweiser. They don't open it, they just give it to you. Service is average but the pool and snooker in the basement has courteous staff and the tables are in good condition.
P. D. S.
Been going there for years, not many pool/snooker places in London. Some of the pool tables and cues need to be replaced, but if your not planning of playing professionally you should be fine. Lol. Serves food and drinks also has dart boards and sky tv which show main games when they are on. Overall a good place to visit.
N. R. (. R.
Closest one to me now as I used to regularly to the Twickenham branch. (My favourite location). Don't think I'll come back here as it's a bit of a distance to go every weekend however, this location itself is pretty good tho. Friendly staff at Rileys as always and the food definitely surprised me. Well presented and it tasted so good! Price was very reasonable too. Highly recommended!
r. d.
Good to have place to go to play snooker in the heart of the capital that isn't a private members club. Its functional and does the job. Snooker tables a bit tired with badly drawn on lines and no spots on some. Pool tables looked better. Its ok but could do with a little TLC. Staff seem uninterested and bored.
M.
Cheap food and drink, nothing flash but you get what you pay for. Always seems like there aren't many staff in but I've never had to wait too long for service. Great place to play darts or pool, usually has lots of sports up on the TVs
E. B.
Did an event at Riley's Victoria and was very happy! The service was great and the venue is really well equipped for all sorts of games, which is really cool! My clients had a great time.
A. K.
Always a good atmosphere here, good quality pool and snooker tables. I dropped a star because food prices are now astronomical and on the last occasion I went I picked up a cue to play with which had a split in the handle and as I ran my hand down the cue to grip the handle, got a few splinters and a small cut.
A. H.
Nice place, friendly staff good munchie food
a. l.
Nice darts / snooker / pool and bar
M. R.
Service very efficient and staff polite. The quality of the cues, table cloth, balls and cushions on the 2 American pool tables we played on were excellent. Basically the polar opposite of my local Rileys in Twickenham.
C. B.
Good place to play pool, staff are lovely. Downsides; Kinda expensive all round, no parking so you’re left to use the car park at £5/hr...Unless you have some specific connection to this place I’d recommend going to a pub where you can play pool for free
V. L.
It's very nice place and pool and bar
C.
Nice pool tables and a big place so didn't seem busy which is nice. A little on the expensive side. They sell pitchers of beer if you are with friends.
S.
Honestly cant say enough but Julie you are amazing and thank you so much. We were late getting there cause of tube delays. Julie went above and beyond and didnt stop until she got us a table. Thank you so much. We look forward to our next vist and this is our regular spot now.
A. T. g.
Went here for the Joshua fight. Great space and if you want to play pool darts or watch the match it's got everything you need. Only bug bare was the speaker's weren't loud enough that's all
V. S.
Good view with decent tables.
Has a choice of British pool, American pool and snooker.
Drinks are reasonably priced considering the location.
M. M. A.
Fantastic place to go for a game of Pool or Snooker or even darts. Nice and clean place with good tables. Loads of free parking in the evening. This place has become my regular local club now.
M. C.
Interesting Sports Bar with Dart Boards and TVs. Positioning of TVs a bit weird. Food very reasonable. Drink a bit expensive and bad selection of beers. Not a bad place to go watch a game or play darts. Needs a bit of reorg.
b. e.
The place is really good and clean staff are helpfull and friendly.
C. G.
Everything you need for a sports bar. Each pool table has a TV - nice touch
j. m.
lots of pool tables. lots of other games to play. i.e. darts, snooker & table football. live footy shown here. Lotd of TV screens & one massive projector screen. Only four star as food is awful (not drinks) and it is dirty
J. M.
Great pool hall, draught beer was a little off, so stick to bottles
J. L.
Great atmosphere for the football, loads of screens and good food.
N. P.
Nice local pub, recently renovated, friendly staff.
R. B.
Very organised would of given 5 stars but I kept loosing
B. C.
Good for pool but one staff member could do with an attitude adjustment and some training in basic manners and customer etiquette. Booking in advance advised.
T. W.
Good number of tables. Polite workers. The only thing that I don't like about rileys is that their table prices are too high compared with most snooker/pool clubs.
S. S.
Great place for a few games of pool and drinks.
J. R.
Very busy at peak times. May require pre-booking for pool or darts. Hourly rate for pool is quite expensive. Premier league games are shown here. Drink prices are average.
G. M.
Nice and spacious. Loads of snooker and pool tables with ample TV screens hung on the walls for viewing sporting fixtures.
M. S.
Cool place. Unfortunetly i was defeated at the pool competition with my friends, but i like this bar. They have fine beer (which was the reason i lost 😂)
N.
Great cider, great nachos, great vibes. Smashed Brown at darts as well.
A.
Always great in here!
B. K.
Huge place. Lots of darts, pool and snooker. Sports showing on large screens. Private member's club downstairs well worth joining
M. P.
Great to see a Riley's still open as my local one closed down some years ago... Prices have gone up though... £15 per hour!
H. H.
A great place to go play pool.
When you're there make sure you try the cheesy chips. Really good.
The food and drinks are cheap and tasty.
B. C.
Great spot to watch sport - TV's everywhere and great atmosphere
C. B.
Free to sign up and the prices are reasonable. Lots of tables for pool, staff seem decent enough and the place is clean.
s. j.
Decent place with lots of pool tables available to play with good customer service
K. K.
As for me it's very nice place to play American pool. Food and drinks are okay, but you have to pay a membership fee.
a. l.
Lovely place to visit: if you need modern paintings for your home go to art gallery.co.uk Antonio Lopes where you will find paintings on 80- per cent discount
A.
Sometimes tables are good, other times they are broken... also the lighting is a bit hard on the eyes, the staff is friendly.
R. M.
Nice bar , dark and big screens. Good atmosphere untill monkey chants started from Chelsea fans
R. M.
Great tables, good value food and drink, and the service from Julie is on point 👌. Highly recommended.
c. m.
Nice modern place, helpful staff. Be mindful that most pool tables here seem to have dodgy cushions which can affect your shots.
A. H.
Obviously not great for food and drink, with very slow service. However, it's fine for playing pool, and it's in a convenient location close to Victoria
P. M.
Decent place for a game of pool and watch the football....nice staff as well
D. R.
Food was great and was a really good venue for team building playing pool, table tennis, and darts.
Z. S.
Good vibes great equipment, membership is free 👍
A. G.
Food and beer were ok. But there was only one guy behind the bar and one guy in the kitchen so it took about 40 minutes for food to arrive.
W. J.
A theater of seats for the football or for boxing 6 or so pool tables 6 dart boards decent pricing great for big groups
J. B.
Had a great game of snooker with friends in a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed the pizza and Amstel.
L. G.
Good place to play pool. Food is very good and the staff and friendly. Thank you.
A. D. C.
This is a good location to enjoy good beer and good food (being a pub I mean, that's good enough) and it's the location of AS Roma Club UK. Lovely!
L. B.
If you've got two hours to kill before your bus from Victoria coach station and fancy a game of pool, darts or just watching sports on the many telly screens screens then this is a must.
M. G.
Quite pricey (£15 for an hour of pool). But nice tables and has lots of screens for watching sport.
V. I.
Very nice bar if you want to drink something and have a fun game of pool or darts.
N. A.
Good for watching football. A little disappointed with the price of the pool tables, £15.00 for an hour and the cues where broken.
d.
Lovely place for playing pool, really nice staff and good value for money
H. B.
Super spacious, nice staff, good selection of lagers. A great place to chill after work.
L. R.
They have lots of pool tables but the bar service was very slow. Okish place to hang out.
D.
Good tables, lots of space, 14 quid an hour tho
W. &. Y. E.
Great evening, staff attentive, really busy, good atmosphere. Highly recommend
E. O. E.
Beer was great, but the nachos took forever too get. Rest was fine.
J. G.
Great place for pool or snooker bit pricey but you get what you pay for highly recommend
V. M.
Lots of tables. American and british pool. and snooker too. But not so well maintained tables. Some of the tables are real dirt boxes.
R. C.
Julie is one of a kind
B. V.
Great
S. B.
Good place for a work social and play pool, snooker or darts. Not much character but you make that yourself in these places.
H. T.
Good student deals and sports on TV. However, some staff could be a lot more courteous.
K. K.
A little haphazard service, new staff! But lovely. Tables a little worn, but still playable.
S. M.
Easy to extend table bookings, drinks are reasonable, food took forever to arrive.
B. “. C.
First time playing snooker was fun
D.
Good place to watch a great games and play some fancy darts
Good food as well
G. J.
I like pool I like burgers I like to be able to chat to my mates while on night out , what's not to like
J. J.
Friendly staff and good venue for a few games of pool or snooker after work
V. N.
Average. Old tables and very basic interior, would like more seating and cheaper drinks
P. E. B.
Vert good moment during the world cup
E. P.
Pool tables galore (and some snooker and darts). Rather a void in terms of atmosphere.
m. b.
Very good food and outstanding darts area!! Highly recommend.
T. W.
Quiet, even on a Friday evening. The bar service is pretty slow, but the staff are friendly
J. S.
Great club, all snooker and pool games. Could do with a poker and backgammon room again
L. M.
Great place to play pool though it is getting a little run down. Could use some TLC
K.
Nice venue, tables in good condition, very helpful service.
D. C.
Good pool and snooker , all man sports pub. Bad beer range.
v. o.
Amazing atmosphere to watch live sporting events, and prices for food and drinks are typical of the surrounding area
O. R.
Excellent setup.
B. W.
Great for a game of pool or darts. Also loads of televisions to follow any sports event.
J. A.
Perfect place to play pool and is much better than your arcade pool
S. W.
Nice sports bar with friendly staff and good facilities
V. C.
Dirty toilets, greasy food but good selection of beers
C. H.
Great sports bar to play pool, but stuff was extremely unfriendly
N. c.
Less snooker tables than before, didn't get a chance to play because it was full easily
G. C.
Bit of a dive and the bar is small and dingy, but had a laugh and the tables are well maintained.
