A.Great snooker bar and have enjoyed many nights with my friend(s) here. We typically start with snooker and finish with quick fire games of pool. It’s well worth becoming a member if you plan to visit fairly frequently - it’s £20 per annum and they provide membership cards.
The atmosphere is perfect for a good game of snooker. I think there are 10 snooker tables and about 8 pool tables of various specifications (English/American pool).
If there is a sporting event being broadcast then they always show it on the numerous TVs (football or snooker most commonly). It can be great when the football is on in the background - it doesn’t compromise on the general atmosphere either.
The boss is a great guy and runs the place well. Drinks are well priced and they do serve food but I’m yet to try this.
It can get busy at times but it’s really hit and miss as to when it is busy. Regardless, the atmosphere is consistently good and the crowd is eclectic - local people, arty types and city workers.
