H. M.I’ve been coming here for two years and for a local leisure centre I think you definitely get your money’s worth!
For the facilities you get at this gym you’d be paying double at another privately owned gym. There are things which could be better and probably are in private gyms but for an easily accessible, pretty quiet local gym where you have no issues using the gym machines or pool then I would 100% recommend!
J. G.I believe this was my first visit to Tooting Leisure Centre and unfortunately it wasn't to use the facilities, but for a funeral reception in the Lola Jones hall.
The grounds are relatively big and there's onsite parking. You need to register your vehicle at reception in order to obtain longer parking than the 2 hours given.
The centre houses a number of facilities including a gym, swimming pool, sports hall, swimming pool, table tennis room; squash courts, etc
The Lola Jones hall is of a good size. It's able to seat at least 200 people quite comfortably, with enough space between tables so you don't feel claustrophobic, and there's still room for a dance floor, bar and for caterers to set up a buffet area. The hall has a stage too with mirrored walls behind it, which makes the large space look bigger. The hall is also nicely decorated.
I would definitely use the facilities, both hall and leisure centre. Thumps up.
M. S. (.The price is not too high for swimming and the facilities are excellent! The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the pool is big enough to allow those who simply want to swim back and forth to not be disturbed by those who are just having fun in the water with friends. It also has a variation of depths allowing the skilled swimmers and divers as well as those who aren't great at it to both have a place where they feel comfortable.
