Reviews of York Hall Leisure Centre
V.Very nice venue, with covid precautions they were very safe. Making sure we had our masks on when not in bar. Security always making sure people followed the rules. Bar staff are great. Highly recommend.
F. C.Only experienced the place as a boxing venue (many times). Good atmosphere, knowledgeable crowd, there is not a bad seat in the house especially up on the balcony, (well maybe the toilet), decent transport.

S. E.York hall Leisure Centre is a fantastic place of interest..I should have wrote a great review a long time ago, but I'm taking the time now to do so. This is I'll let your center that is located in East London that has a excellent gym and a swimming pool that is yet to be reopened.. It also hosts big boxing matches every now and then..There is a spa on the basement floor that provides an excellent Scandinavian style Experience with a list of amazing therapies given to you by the best therapist at affordable prices.
This place is a hidden gem.

S. C.Great venue for wrestling/boxing/mma, just perfect for a ring/cage in the middle. But please please please have more bar staff.
How can you have the place 90% full but shutters down on 50% of the bar and only four staff working? No wonder there is a half hour to 40 minute wait for a drink. Maybe get a couple of the 8 blokes on security behind the bar after everyone is in. Total overkill on security for pro wrestling fans.
k. h.I love this gym as it’s always super quiet, the machines are very new and it’s not full of annoying muscle men. It’s very small though and the lighter weights area (ie the ones for women) could really do with improving - a decent set of lower weight dumbbells would be good.
P. E.Great venue for wrestling, and saw a corker of a match, Will Ospreay v Michael Oko, only let down was ridiculously long wait at bar, they do not accept cash, and there card reading machines kept going off line, we waited 1/2 hour, needless to say we only had one drink
I. D.We visited for a vintage fair recently, so I cannot comment on the leisure facilities. Very close to the tube station so easy to find.
C. S.I do like York Hall, but the could really do with upgrading the air circulation. When it's busy the air feels very heavy, sweaty and a bit smelly.
Aside from that though it's a great venue, nicely laid out. Decent bar.
