I've been to this fantastic leisure centre quite a few times and it has always met my expectations. Friendly staff members, clean changing rooms and the swimmig pool is big, which is filled with clean and fresh water. Love it. Keep up the great work, guys!

The showers stay on for 5 seconds. There is a hairdryer on the changing room for the pool which has been broken for weeks. Other than that it is a fabulous pool and the water is a lovely temperature. Ample free parking and friendly staff.

Summer holiday swimming with the kids. 1 gets in free as she is taking lessons in Salford. Family changing area so you don't get split up. 2 lanes marked for proper swimmers. Only the main pool open as there was lessons in the small one. Shallow end 1.5m full of mums and dads with small children. The middle 2m with the more grown up children who could swim, still with adults. The deep end 3.5m, all the big kids with no parents, so lots of dive bombing, but still respectful of others. Other facilities like sauna and gym I could see, but didn't try.

Nice big pool however needs a refurbishment which the council haven't got the money for... Also could do with a clean (Grimey) won't stop me going as its good value and isn't overly full 🌝 at this time of the year.

An older facility but very good. Since Covid19 I have swam here numerous times. The pool is well kept and clean. What really makes this Leisure Centre is the staff. Despite the restrictions and difficulties around The pandemic the staff work tirelessly to keep the place open safe and help you take a swim. Keep up the good work

My favourite leisure centre. This one is less crowded and noisy than some. It has a nice chilled vibe, and because it feels more laid back, it's always my first choice.

Visited to receive first dose of the Covid vaccine. Very well laid out interior with one way system, social distancing and sanitisation measures in place. Only waited a couple of minutes after registering. Efficient and friendly staff. Plenty of parking available. .

Since its renovation a few years ago, these facilities are massively improved. It's a nice centre now with quite a lot of options, they have squash courts and badminton available as well as swimming and the gym. Not bad for a council-run gym!

Nice clean pool, decent price but very deep at 11ft 6in one end. Only half the pool is accessible for this reason if you are not a strong swimmer or with kids. Theres a nice little baby pool too.

Went to the centre to have my Covid first vaccination jab. So well organised with the Army, Doctors, Nurses and volunteers there to ensure a smooth operation.

Great place for a swim in the area. It has good gym, changing rooms and two sizeable pools.

Decent pool, nice staff, warm for small ones. Changing rooms are close by but could do with a more regular cleaning rota. Vending machines tend to rip you off.

I like it. Went for a Body Pump AIM today, the only issue I had is with the studio equipment could really do with updating (Bars bent, plates cracked and step boxes are old school) and I couldn't find a water fountain. But staff seemed friendly enough and they have fairly sized gym, studio, squash court and swimming pool. There is a killer Skate Park in the carpark too shame I forgot my inlines! Think if the equipment was better in the studio I would have gone for 5 stars.

Easy to get to and facilities are great. The small pool is quite deep in comparison to other pools, with metal steps into the pool like the large pool. Great for more confident swimmers.

Firat time going to this pool... the floors are filthy and the toilets are a disgrace. The doors are too close to the toilets so you have to straddle the toilet to close the door. The large pool is freezing neither my youngest nor myself could get in. The baby pool was warmer and eventually we had a good time but dirty. Showers are by the poolside... a few personal showers would be nice too. We will be sticking with worsley and Stockport pools from now on.

Awesome leisure centre although gym is a bit on the small side quite difficult to get on certain equipment at peak times probably best going at quieter times otherwise you could be spending upto 2hrs rather than the usual 1hr you need to do a full work out

Love this gym, as an Aspire member I could use Eccles and Walkden which are closer, but come to Irlam if I can, mainly for the swimming. Loses a star as pool can get quite dirty when there are lots of kids in there.
