Went there yesterday with a friend as I ask if they could introduce me to fishing. We had bought one of them long poles & some hooks and was gonna buy worms at the tack and tail place but it was shut so the fishery was offering biscuit like bait stuff. Friend bought a license recently. We tried in the main stream like area but didn't catch zip so we went up the hill and in 2hour we had caught 2 and lost 2 as they had got away. 22C, cold drinks and fishing. Very nice day out. Place is clean and staff are nice.

Took my little buddy for his 1st fishing trip today (he's 9) and I'm so glad I did. What an amazing experience it was to see him catch his 1st fish. He was beating me 3-0 until I took control and beat him 15-7 🤗 sorry Alfie. Will definitely be returning to this amazing setup 5 stars all round👌

First time on this venue for me, what have I been missing,absolutely spot on place the staff are super friendly and I caught more than enough fish with different species,caught my biggest fish so far today I will definitely be heading back here

I really liked sonny’s lake it is great for fishing and was a beautiful experience but I was underwhelmed my Maddison’s lake the fish were looking a bit funky . Also the people here are lovely and helpful but one of the workers was a bag over his head the whole day I was very scared.the cafe was great but the spaghetti bolocnase was called spaghetti WORM cake and it scared my little boy Toby but he recovered Eventually. Overall it was spectacular but stay away from Maddies lake if you want normal fish .

Go here often! This place is ideal for all levels of angling! From the keen specimen hunter to the sit down in the sun, dangle a maggot and hope a fish jumps on it, brigade! A good tackle /bait shop . A superb cafe open for breakfast and lunch ! Very friendly atmosphere, especially on the leisure lakes! Staff in shop and cafe are brilliant! See you all soon!!!

Called today for the first time, went on lillies, weather could of been better but the fishing was spot on, over 40 fish, and a nice bit of breakfast from the cafe, will be back soon.

I love this place so relaxing. There's also a fab joiner on site now and an upholsterer. I just had all my work tshirts printed by the new printer too. Most of all I love the cafe on the lake here. The food is just 5 star all home cooked by Henry and Yvonne and the prices are great.

Great place to fish. But the trees get in way of casting. I always catch. And I had my very 1st Barbel. Going again very soon. Myself and a friend went again on 1st August I had brilliant days fishing. I got 29 fish .Yes 29. Including ghost carp×2 Barbel.1.roach 1 bream 3.tench1. And mirrow carp×21. Great place to fish. And guess what? Yes next week more of the same.i hope!

I Joined the membership scheme to allow me to fish the specimen lake. I've done a couple 24's so far, I've not managed to catch any fish yet, but I've been there a few times like I said, and I've seen fish banked. I think it would benefit from more stocked in the specimen for the 2017 season. Top fisherie, great owners & staff. Can't wait to go back soon.

Took my Grandson on the 1st of June , he absolutely loved it , lost count at about 50 fish ! mostly small roach , couple of mirrors . Lovely people . just what a 9 year old needed , he said it was the best day ever ! happy kid , happy Grandad . deffo going again . maybe i'll get a chance to fish next time.

Great fishery. Good surroundings and run by good people. Course lakes are very good and the carp lake is a nice place to be but maybe falls a bit short on action at times. You go to commercials for a bend in the rod and its not always the case on the carp pond.

I went with my ex-partner & he really enjoyed it. I don't know the names of the fish but I know he catches a good selection of good healthy fish. I would definitely recommend trying this place if your interested in fishing. Good parking & everyone was really nice & it's only £5 amazing!!! There's toilets I didn't use them but I believe there very clean & staff are very good & helpful. My ex-partner said he had a really good talk with one of the staff members who helped him with a few thing's like best place to fish etc. very helpful.

Very welcoming, inexpensive and great quality. Really good food and a cracking Sunday lunch. Oh and don't forget to visit the farm shop as they have some great local produce at really reasonable prices. Well worth a visit and day of the week.

Had a brilliant day with the child here, caught a wide variety of fish. Has designated disabled fishing pegs that I was able to park right next to, which was brilliant. On site cafe, bait & tackle shop & toilets with a shower. Staff were extremely helpful & borrowed me a piece of equipment that I'd forgotten, which saved me returning home/buying new. We will be returning in the future, & recommend Moss Farm fully.

Amazing fishery to catch all sorts of fish have fished all lakes and all produce good bags of mixed fish average 2 to 5lb with the odd bigger and even double figure fish thrown in always have a nice friendly welcome from Ray and always puts me in best spots cheers Ray
