Our team has played in a variety of local leagues and we joined Simple Netball last year. We felt really welcome from the start and have thoroughly enjoyed playing. Throughout these tough times it is even more important to have something to focus on and look forward to and Jo, who coordinates our league, went above and beyond to ensure we could continue to play when it was safe to do so. We would recommend this friendly (yet competitive!) netball league and can’t wait to get back on court! 😁

I have been playing netball with Simple for just over 8 years and I had no idea how much I would come to love it. The leagues are incredibly well organised and everyone is so lovely and friendly! I have met some of my best friends through playing in these leagues and it's made my life so much happier. Really well organised with lots of support from the league managers. Played my first match tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. Got to meet my team in the Beginners League cracking bunch of ladies. The umpires were great, really professional with lots of good advice. Bloomin knackered but looking forward to the next game. I haven't played for 40 years since school and attended a Back to Netball session which really helped as the coaching was both helpful and inspiring. If you haven't played netball for a long time don't let it put you off find your local B2N session and go along. Lots of fun and fab way to get the heart pumping 😊

The Simple Netball Team have been really friendly and helpful, particularly active in enabling me to get some matches during the reduced offer at other venues during coronavirus. I play with my own team and with another couple of teams when needed. The women are welcoming. Having fun with competitiveness is how it feels.

If you're looking to get back into netball this is definitely the group to join! It is extremely well organised by Jo and communication is always great (even during the pandemic) leagues are fun and matches are in the evenings - You can choose to be put into a team or join with people you know. I was put into a team of lovely girls and cant wait to play again after covid restrictions are lifted - highly recommend!

I joined simple netball when I moved to Manchester following university for work, I wanted a way to make friends outside of work and get a bit of a run around. I hadn’t played since school so nervous on my first session , however , there was no need to be everyone was absolutely lovely and every team I have played and the refs are lovey. It’s a great way to have some fun, socialise and also get fit! My skills have improved through the coaching session and I now play twice a week the girls on my team have became great friends and before covid we would regularly socialise on nights out etc. The covid measures have been done really well, I feel totally safe and have actually grown to prefer playing outdoors. I honestly don’t know what I would do without netball!

if you want to have fun, meet new friendly faces no matter how long you have been away from netball then this is the best place to start... everyone comes alone but soon gets taken into a netball team and family, all the teams and refs and coaches are really friendly and it doesn't matter what age, I am 63 and the youngest in my team is just 18, have fun while keeping fit.
