C. J.Come here really often, is a great place for cheap drinks and pool. They serve food too, which looks pretty good although I haven’t tried any. It’s a really chill vibe and majority of the staff are super easy to get on with. I can imagine on match day it gets busy though due to the drinks being cheap. Overall a great place to come if you enjoy pool and a workout (lots of stairs hahaha)
D. V.We hired the private Platinum Room for 3hrs on a Saturday afternoon for a stag party, with a pool table and beer pong table setup, dart board and big projector for live football - it was class. Jack provided superb food and drink service for all the lads throughout the afternoon (despite the Fleetwood result!!) and everyone had a fantastic time. The value for money was superb, with excellent drinks prices and a great array of shots. This venue is perfect for any group at a weekend - highly recommend.
A. K.it might look a bit sketchy, but it's actually quite nice. It does not tend to be crowded, prices are quite good, the place is open until very late. You can play some pool there, restrooms are alright... Generally, I would recommend it

J. v. d. B.Was here for a Stag Do as one of the lads had membership and it was a very good venue. Making use of the gold room we got private tables, use of the PA system for our own music, control of the TVs. Drinks choices are about usual for a pool hall but we did get a complimentary tray of shots, including a special one for the stag. Other than the massive amount of stairs I'd rate highly indeed

C. G.I came here to kill some time on a stag do and we had such a good time that ended up staying for a few hours.
Upon arrival the guy behind the bar asked if we wanted to rent the private room. The room was £22 and contained 2 tables, a projector and a karaoke machine! We had a choice of 2 pool tables or one of the tables could be turned into a ping pong table. The room was excellent and well worth the price. The only downside was that it was pretty far away from the bar.
The bar itself is really well stocked and the staff are friendly and will have a laugh with you, our stag was sobering up a bit so one of the barmen mixed up a special shot for him!
Overall this place is a real hidden gem and I'd definitely come back if I was in Newcastle with a group of friends.

There is also a Duke box which only costs £1 for two song selections. Plenty of seating available. This place is great if you're still feeling a bit thirsty after a night out. There is plenty of seating if you're just there for a few drinks.

For almost a year I have spent every Saturday there, it wouldn't be successful Saturday without at least 8-h snooker practice.
Food is awesome, vegans won't go hungry with many plant-based options. Huge selection of drinks and of course my favourite OldJ Spiced Rum. Gold room available for those who want some American Pool with less noise. Decor is not what you would expect from a pool/snooker club (in an awesome way), which makes it a perfect place for anybody, while still preserving a unique and pleasant image!

I play as part of a pool team based out of our office and we play in the gold room and the tables are unbelievable... there is a platinum room with a pool table and ping pong table... I've only been on Saturday tea times. Can't imagine it any different other days,,,,so I'd like to thank all the staff for a pleasurable time with more to come.....hopefully tomorrow when the toon beat Birmingham 3-0 lol

Il fatto che rimanga aperto fino alle 6 di mattina è di sicuro una comodità per chi vuole farsi una bevuta dopo la chiusura dei pub, senza essere costretto ad andare in discoteca per un drink. Però l'introduzione della member ship card a pagamento (15 pound se non sbaglio) e la conseguente selezione all'entrata gli tolgono un po' quel fascino anticonformista. Le bevande sono passabili, la scelta non è certo ricercata, ne lo è la preparazione, daltronde è lo stile del locale, ma occhio ai mal di testa il giorno seguente. Il cibo chiaramente rasenta lo stesso livello delle bevande, solo che in questo caso il servizio è molto lento, possono passare anche 45 minuti per dei nachos al formaggio prima che ti arrivino. Ma come ho già detto tutto ciò si addice alla perfezione ad un locale del genere, dall'animo anticonformista. Peccato per la membership card.
