Great site to stay for the iOw festival very welcoming clean toilets and great views would be nice to have some electric in the carpark but can't have everything. Nice littke restaurant with half decent food, although finishes at 6 which during the iOw festival coukd be longer, I'll defo come back to this site and recommend to friends who attend the festival. Prices for the "taxi" from the site to the festival are £30 per person per day, a little pricey for my liking unless you plan on going back and forth every day several times.its a 10 min wak to gate 2 then about 15 mins to get to the centre stage the opposite end of the festival.

Nice enough marina with clean facilities. Most staff friendly and helpful. Very quiet when I was there. Never met any other sailors - looks mainly residential and storage. Reasonable riverside walk to Newport for restaurants and shops. Bus to Newport, Cowes and Ryde.

Went here today for a funeral wake and it was very nice. The buffet was good and the position on the harbour and atmosphere inside the building was lovely, it had a very nautical feel to it.

This marina has some fabulous staff Tina her daughters Bethany & Shakira who work tirelessly 7 days a week to ensure the facilities are clean for visitors & staff. It’s just a pity their not valued enough by the management to supply them with UNIFORMS . On maintenance “Aaron “ this man is unique & indispensable ! There is nothing he can’t solve or fix !! He’s an asset to the marina.The Picnic area is cut constantly even at 6.30 in the morning by the grass cutter , he makes sure you know he’s done it by waking you up to the smell & noise of a lawn mower , just remember to wipe feet prior to getting on board your boat ! Now Christian in the “Tower”is the man you need to see for berthing etc; any problems he’ll sort them out, it’s no use asking management they don’t converse with the public !! If fact you don’t know who they are !! Island Harbour for the past 3 years has & still is, a mess with unfinished building work at the front & rubbish at the back of the Breeze piled up. The management should do something about clearing it up it’s spoiling the serenity of the marina.

Really lovely people running here and very friendly on the phone. Berthed efficiently, been for a lovely 5k run to Newport but we like the cafe on site too. Facilities are good and clean. One day I want to get in the spice bus too!

Since berthing our boat at the marina for a considerable time we give many thanks & 5* for the cleaning staff Tina , her 2 daughters Bethany & Sharira. This is a beautiful decorated restaurant the staff where lovely and the service was really great. The food was ok it was a tad over priced for what it was and the menu wasn't big at all with not alot of options but it was alright. The outside area was lovely and great for kids with the play area and they also had the live music outside which was a nice added touch. Would recommend a visit.

We've been coming here for almost ten years, it's such a lovely place. The staff are friendly and helpful, the setting is lovely and it's one of the most peaceful marinas in the area. The restaurant is great and good for families with a fantastic play area. Special thanks to Christian who always greets us like old friends and goes out of his way to make our stay perfect.

Still not a particularly well known place, but all the best places are fairly secluded, I guess that is what makes them Rock. Great facilities here for Boating People who require a safe haven for the night, has all the facilities you would expect from a good Marina, along with a Great Ship Chandler, & The Breeze for some Good Quality, But not Expensive Nosebag. Highly Recommended *****

Never been here before. I had heard about it, but never got round to going. You can walk from Newport to get there. Along the right side of the river. It was an almost spring like day in January. We sat outside with our drinks, while we waited for our food. The lunchtime menu was good. A lot of choice, reasonably priced. Lovely place. Great for parties.

Bit pricey and unfortunately you can't get small cafe type snacks here, only meals, which is a shame as it would lend well to this type of offer for those just wanting to stop by for a little snack, esp. dog walkers, etc. Would class as a restaurant more than anything.

Island Harbour is a bit of a hidden gem. A really nice comfortable place with good food, good choice of beers etc, plenty of parking, outdoor covered and open seating. Also access to coastal path to work off your lunch. Some building works behind venue but no impact on enjoyment Recommended.

This is the most excellent of moorings. Yes you need to time it right with the tides and navigate the lock, but it's very worth it. Great staff. Very welcoming and a full 5 star plus review.

Great Marina, extremely helpful staff, they couldn’t do enough for you. They were very helpful talking us through the lock procedure and were there to hand the ropes and take them back from you. Decent size berths with water and power, first time here, will definately come back again. Walked to the folly on Saturday evening for food and live music, mind the walk the path can be a bit tricky if it’s rained, walked into a Newport on a very well kept pathway, it’s about a 40min walk.

Visited Island Harbour a few times now, love the new Breeze Restaurant more room to spread out and enjoy a family meal and a beer or two. Nice to chill out after a long week at work. Staff are very professional. Have recommend to my family and friends to give the Harbour a go.

What a hidden gem - I almost don't want to write! We had been recommended the marina and randomly ended up there with a change of plan - what a turn of luck. We have a toddler on board and this was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and helpful - cheeky and could see this not going down well with some but they treated us great. Although the facilities are in a bit of a shabby block they are very nicely done and there's a BBQ site and camping if too many onboard! The onsite restaurant, The Breeze, served a great supper and breakfast. Not bad value - my husband said best mussels - he couldn't fault them! The staff were good althpugh clearing was slow which was disappointing. There's a playground around the restaurant which has three slides, swings, climbing frames and artificial grass - it was perfect for so many kids. Combined with the lovely walks in both directions along the river, there's plenty to do! Lovely, we'll def be back!

It's a lovely peaceful walk along the river Medina here spoiled only by the cyclists whose silent approach makes you jump out of your skin, and the sad sight of the rusting paddle steamer the Ryde Queen, now falling into complete disrepair. Having said all that the marina itself is interesting with a myriad of different boats and there's loads of wildlife out on the river

Stayed there last weekend and it was a very pleasant surprise. The marina is situated in a beautiful area that is nice, quiet and peaceful (apart from the party at the restaurant on Friday night). The approach to the marina from the Solent isn't as long, boring or scary as some in the Solent, even at low tide. having said that we do have a lifting keel which will always help when visiting new places. The facilities are very clean and well maintained. All the people working there were nice, helpful and welcoming. The overnight stay prices were the cheapest we've paid for a walk ashore berth. Although we didn't eat at the Breeze restaurant, we did get coffee's there in the mornings and the staff were very friendly and the prices very reasonable. As seems usual with a few marina's in the Solent, there isn't much to do that is very local apart from a visit to the local chandlers and pub. However, the walk to Newport is extremely nice with a man made, well maintained pathway into the town. Newport is a nice old town that is well serviced with plenty of shops in quite a nice setting. We liked it so much we're going to see if we can't get there again this weekend. My only concern is that the marina area is currently being developed a bit and this might remove some of its charm.

Isle of Wight s best kept secret. We've been sailing solent for twenty years and our first visit on Friday night. From very friendly welcome at lock, lovely mooring, quiet berth with electricity, lovely showers, wildlife, newspapers, chandler, short walk to Newport or Folley you really couldn't ask for better. In future won't stay anywhere else. Thank you guys for making our stay on a filthy weather night so pleasant. (Up to speed,). You'll definitely see us again.

(Translated) superb little marina where I came 30 years ago and where there was nothing except an old steamer which served as a pub and dance hall in 2022 what a change with a very warm welcome from the marina staff and after three years without coming to England a nice surprise and I would come back (Original) superbe petite marina ou j'étais venu il y a 30 ans et ou il n'y avait rien a part un vieux bateau a vapeur qui servait de pub et de dancing en 2022 quel changement avec un accueille très chaleureux du personnel de la marina et après trois ans sans être venu en Angleterre une belle surprise et je reviendrais
