I'm just about to have a subscription to this leisure centre for the use of its gym facilities, I was very impressed with the equipment installed there, I have in the past been a member of valentines gym and have to say the facilities at Newbridge leisure centre is up there with valentines if not better as all the equipment is new.

Amazing host for a fantastic new up and coming Roller Hockey Team. The Miner's. We train every Thursday night adults 9-10pm. Over 6 and youth on a Sunday 11-12. 16+ Sunday 12-1pm. Please feel free to come along and watch or join in first training sessions are on us. You will become part of a hectic team with a big heart ♥ and lots of big personalities.

Changing rooms, swimming areas and observing areas are clean and tidy, although the chairs stacked above the pool read more "afterthought," than "additional capacity," and are visually cluttering. As far as swimming lessons go there's an interesting policy in place... First come first served apparently but without any way to add to a waiting list... so it's possibly either "ask at right time" or "who you know?" We hope this will develop into something fairer and more tangible, and this is a temporary lapse, possibly down to covid. Maybe they'll contact me to update?

Good facility for badminton. Would have given more if we weren't kicked off the court 10 minutes early (8.50pm so no other sessions and no one waiting). Haven't used the pool yet so will review again after a few more visits.

Haven't been here for a few years . Took my 2 boys swimming here last week. I have a mixed review. So it's great that swimming is free the month of March.. Great for families feeling the pinch with every other cost rising however no booking system in place now so its a turn up and hope for the best situation. Arrived 15 minutes before session start to have to queue for an hour for the next session. 7months pregnant with pelvic girdle pain wasn't enjoyable. Then realised no unisex changing rooms so struggling with getting my bottom half dressed with my partner in male changing room with my 2 boys . Pool itself was lovely. 90k spent on sensory play was lovely.

Not a review of the leisure centre itself. But a review of the Covid-19 Vaccination centre that they have running here. No problems with staff. They've been very informative. However, There's no screens in-between people / nurses who are giving the jabs. I've seen pictures online of other vaccination centres with screens. There's no privacy when having your jab done. Your in full view of other patients waiting in line when having your jab.

Visited to have my Covid19 vaccination. Excellently organised, all the staff were friendly, reassuring, professional and helped everyone to be processed swiftly. They made a sensitive situation more normal. All the staff deserved medals.

Hard to review it as I did not go in, closed due to covid, had to take someone for a covid jab being used as a vaccination centre. The 3 stars was based on a few visits mainly to the pool quite a while ago, a nice pool with a separate kids, fun area. Cant comment on anything else. Changing rooms were clean with lockers as I recall.

I went their for my Covid19 vaccination, the centre was clean an tidy with plenty of natural light. Though what impressed me most was everyone working their, from the people in the car park through to the medical staff; all were friendly and professional.

Visited for public swim during the holidays with the kids. Sadly it looks as though the slide is out of action at the moment but everything else was great. Easy to get a parking space, there were polite, helpful staff and the pool is clean and we'll monitored by very helpful life guards. I felt the kids were safe and they had a great time.

Went here to get my Covid-19 jab. The organisation by the onsite staff is brilliant! Very friendly and reassuringly, they guide you through the process and make you feel very welcome.

Slow service at reception, staff on private calls "OK love, see you at home!!!" The swim centre itself is very clean, love the fact it is a totally walk in to both pools and sauna. Twice there has been a matter of the visitors having to wait 25 minutes for the school to leave the pool, dry their hair, put on their makeup and have a chat...I walked in seeing and hearing all this and was asked to wait back out in reception. We did not receive any apology from the teaching staff or given the extra 25 minutes.

Nice facilities here on offer. I've only ever used the pool which is relatively large and has the legendary slide. The sports balls for events are good and have plenty of activities normally. I enjoyed rocketball when it was there, and also had a few football challenges held there too.

Well I only went there for my vires injection and when I was there it was so big this building in side it was a pleasure to see what the people do in this place you can see that in the photos why don't we have something like that in Caerphilly for the people too visit it and get involved with the things you can have in a place like what Newbridge Leisure center Got .

Lovely family friendly pool with shallow area for toddlers/children, pirate ship to play on and fountains, jacuzzi area, big winding enclosed slide, sauna and steam room. Viewing area upstairs and vending machines in foyer. Gym and sports areas also. Good sized parking area.

Great pool, with friendly and relaxed pool staff. Great 1000+ flume, small pirate ship and splash slide for the younger tots and an attached accessible main pool which is great for advancing learners. Sessions are a tad short, some 45mins, but still great fun and easy.

One of the bigger leisure centres in the area. Offers good gym facilities, sport courts and a multitude of fitness classes. Great pool too, been here numerous times. Very popular with families with young children with the slide in the pool.

The pool is always to cold. And while I was there on our visit, some little girl cut her foot on the drains in the changing rooms. Everything seems to have a refurbishment except for the changing rooms, its about time they do this, I had to change my nephew in a locker because there was too many people to change him anywhere.

Newbridge Leisure centre has a very good gym facility. Even during the busiest times I've been there I've never had to wait to use a machine. The downstairs is strength training machinery and the upstairs is full of cardio workout machines. The selection of weights is nice, having several different versions of the lower weights so multiple people can use them. Staff have always been quick to help if I've needed help or advice. The only negatives i have about the the leisure centre are that fact the changing facilities can't be used as they are occupied by school students. The other negative point is the music being played in the gym is more often than not too loud, so much that is can be heard throught my headphones.

My little one loves this pool, the only thing I hate is the swimming pool isn't open as much as other pools, it's not to expensive for a family to go. It has a slide that's lovely for the kids, staff are friendly too.

Good parking and good facilities. The swimming area has 2 pools one is suitable for adults and another is more suited for younger children. A water slide is also included.

a very well equipped leisure centre, with swimming pool with adult only and adult and toddler swimming sessions, and lessons available to book, decent sized gym with weight area downstairs and cardio machines upstairs. Squash courts, astro turf and badminton courts also available to book and various fitness classes. staff are always friendly but parking can be a nightmare at peak times as car park is shared with school. Different types of membership packages available, dependant on how often you use the centre can be very good value for money, with an added benefit being you are able to use any caerphilly county leisure centre.
